The house is 2 hours from NYC, 10 miles from Great Barrington and 20 miles from Hudson. The house has hammocks,antiques, books and games, and 5 fireplaces. 1 BR has a queen sized bed, one has a full size bed. There are two kid's BR’s; one with a brand new full sized bed and a full size futon and the other with a single bed.
Great for a romantic weekend, a spa getaway or a family weekend. There's plenty to do in the area.
The house has wireless internet, a digital HD Smart TV, a Wii U and a Ouija Board.
The main floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor gas grill, dining room; living room and a full bath with full-sized washer/dryer. The house has original wideboard floors and plaster walls.
The second floor has four bedrooms, and a brand new full bathroom.
On a clear night, the dark sky has more stars than the Greek isles. Catch the Perseid meteor showers in early August.
Nearby towns of Great Barrington, Lenox, Lee, Pittsfield, and Stockbridge in the Berkshires have Tanglewood, Shakespeare, Jacobs Pillow, galleries, museums, kids attractions, historical points and more. WIlliamstown is about 40 minutes ride with the newly reopened Clark Art Institute and Mass Moca. Mt. Greylock is 45 minutes in North Adams.

And our inground pool and hammocks are a great way to pass the day until dinner. (Summer only.)

Several state parks offer fishing, hunting, hiking, within a 30 minute drive.

There is no convenient public transit. You need a car. Can get here by plane to Albany and rent a car, or to any of the NY airports and rent a car.

Pots and pans in the beehive stove are left from the original owners, (c.1810) but there are also newer pots and pans for you to use. Bathrooms are five years old.
