On the top floor, there is a huge master bedroom with ample closet space, sitting area and an en-suite bathroom, along with two more bedrooms that share a bathroom. The main floor features a second large master bedroom, and a convertible den that can either be used as another bedroom, or a space to enjoy quiet sun-soaked afternoons enjoying the view. The main floor also features a Great Room with a beautiful fireplace; a formal dining room that can seat 10-12 (plus a high-chair); a chef’s kitchen with everything you would need to enjoy a gourmet meal made at home; a breakfast nook in the kitchen, and a full bathroom. Just outside the kitchen is a large deck with outdoor shower, grill, outdoor table for eating food cooked on the aforementioned grill, and patio chairs to relax in. A a huge washer and dryer is located in the basement (great to take care of the entire family’s towels after a day at the beach) and a large two-car garage. Perks of renting our home include use of the private tennis court, and coveted private Hither Hills beach parking pass. What’s so special about the beach parking pass? Well, for non-residents, beach parking in Montauk can be a bit of a challenge, but with this parking pass, you can drive up to one of several parking lots along Old Montauk Highway, and head right down the stairs to your very own stretch of beach. The SpaceThe master bedroom has a king sized bed. Both guest rooms on the ground floor can be either as two twins in each room or as a king sided beds in each room. The library has a sofa bed which becomes a king bed and is extremely comfortable. Guest Access-large jacuzzi (6) -tennis court -one mile to private beach to which you will be given a key so you can park one vehicle. -town is just over 2 miles away Getting Around3 bicycles in the garage are available for your use. The house is 2.5 miles from the center of town. There are many affordable cab services which are usually prompt. I will leave phone numbers for your. Be sure to leave a good tip, it will work to your advantage! Other Things to NoteWINTER RENTAL The summer house which has just been described is also a wonderful winter nest. It's just looking for someone who really wants to get away from civilization. Grocery store and a couple of restaurants are opened all year in the village which is aprox over 4miles along the coast line.(if your driving 2 minutes). Nearest Beach is a mile down the road and is magical. I am not exaggerating. Not a soul is sight. Your return to my home and sit in front of a wonderful chimney and have a hot toddy. All neighbors live there all year around, very friendly and you barely ever see them.It is perfect for an artist a writer, painter or musician.. Being one, I understand the value of the silence this house provides.

The SpaceOur Montauk Home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom beautiful remodeled and refurbished villa. There is a queen size bed and closet in each room, the master bedroom has its on bath-toilet and shower. The living room and dining room is spacious with a fire place. There is an outdoor patio with a dining area. Our house is only 1 mile away from the beach and is close to many daytime activities, stores and restaurants but still feels very private and secluded. You can go biking, fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, go on boat tours, and more. The NeighborhoodIt's great for a weekend get-a-way for friends and families that want to spend some time in nature and by the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, but also has pockets of very creative spaces and bar and delicious restaurants. Getting AroundA car is essential in the area, biking is great for day time exercise. You can take the MTA to Montauk Station as an alternative transport back to NYC. Other Things to NoteMontauk is a major tourist destination and has six state parks. It is particularly famous for its fishing, claiming to have more world saltwater fishing records than any other port in the world.[2] Located 20 miles (32 km) off the Connecticut coast, it is home to the largest commercial and recreational fishing fleet in New York state. Montauk is considered a beach resort, using its position at the tip of Long Island to promote itself as "The Living End" or "The Last Resort" and become one of the busiest tourist locations within the town of East Hampton. The small town is host to many restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and hotels, and is a popular vacation spot in the warm weather months. Such accommodations are rarer elsewhere in the Hamptons. Many of the Montauk hotels are only open April through November, some for shorter time periods, while a few serve fishermen and other customers year round, including the famed Gurney's Inn. The Long Island Rail Road provides train service to Penn Station, and Hampton Jitney provides bus service to Manhattan. Suffolk Transit's 10C and seasonally-operated S94 bus routes serve the village. The 10C connects the village with East Hampton, and the Amagansett, East Hampton and Montauk Long Island Rail Road stations on the Montauk Branch, and the seasonally-operated S94 connects the village with the Montauk Point Light. Small planes can fly into the Montauk Airport.

We have a private beach on the lake, and the most beautiful sunsets at night. Gin beach is a short walk. The lake is a great place to kayak or windsurf. Other Things to NoteFor some reason Airbnb does not allow hosts to set up pricing for a whole season. We like to rent the house for the whole season to a single renter whenever possible. The rent for Memorial Day to labor Day is $40,000. If we cannot book a single renter for the whole season we have set up monthly pricing as follows: June $10,000 July $13,000 August $17,000. The SpaceA bright bedroom with a Queen bed and a private bathroom right outside the bedroom. There's also a great outdoor shower to wash away the sand when you come home from the beach. The ocean beach is straight down one street - a half mile walk. You do not need a permit to park at this beach. You don't even need a car. You can walk to some of Montauk's great restaurants and shops (1/3 mi.), to the Hampton Jitney stop (1/2 mi.) or the Montauk train station (about 1 mi.) or take one of the very available Montauk taxis. Enjoy a glass of wine on our front porch while you're counting the deer and listening to the birds. Private street with 2 houses. We also have beach towels and beach chairs for your use. This room is suitable for one or two people. Please note: There is no tv in the room. But we do have wi-fi. Coffee is served in the foyer and on the front porch each morning. Enjoy the beaches, trails and calming vibe of Montauk in your own artfully designed, centrally located, 2-bedroom cottage. The house features furniture designed and built by the owner as well as other furniture, objects and decor collected through life's travels. An Afro-Jamaican vibe enhances the interior and an abundance of windows flood the house with natural light from sunrise to sunset. Out front, a picnic table and BBQ grill lit by overhead string lights allow for outdoor dining while in the rear, the yard is reserved for sun tanning or a picnic. The property is fully fenced on all 4 sides, great for dogs and kids to play and explore without straying too far from home. Accommodations: Two queen sized bedrooms sleep (4) people comfortably. A fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, large fridge, chopping island, coffee maker, toaster, blender and built-in banquette seating exist, along with a washer & dryer, high speed internet and a stereo in the living room to connect to your laptop or iPhone/iPod. The house has an A/C unit in the living room and a full bathroom with a matching baby blue tub and toilet from an old school era that we just can't replace. Finally - and we know how big this one is - dogs are welcome! We are dog owners ourselves and know for a fact they love Montauk even more than we do. Leaving the dogs at home is just not an option for us, so it shouldn't be for you. Please note we allow only one dog per stay. This former Fisherman's cottage turned summer getaway is our special place and we are pleased to share it with you. We are only a 10 minute walk from both the train station and Jitney stop. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in a residential neighborhood that is quiet but also close to the town and a lot of the night entertainment spots of Montauk. We are down the block from Sole East and Ruschmeyer's. Surf Lodge is accessible by canoe or a 20-minute walk through Industrial Road. The ocean beach is a 10 minute walk away. The bay beach, with a quiet rocky beach, is also but in the other direction. The pond on the back of the property is fresh water and a great place to cool off in hot days or a place to refresh after the ocean. Getting AroundTrain from Penn Station to Montauk available through the Long Island Railroad. In town, taxis are available. The house has a large deck with a grill, a backyard and a large driveway It's on a dead end block in Ditch Plains, so there is less car traffic and there are often children playing in the streets. It's a great place to relax in the summer with my dog Parker, who'se a people person. Walking distance to Ditch Plains beach, the Ditch Witch for morning coffee and food, and the Crow's Nest, for fine wine and dining. Guest AccessFull kitchen, full sized deck with gas grill, outdoor shower, driveway. The NeighborhoodMy house is in the hip Ditch Plains neighborhood. You can walk to Crow's Nest restaurant if you want to go out and leave the car. You can also walk to the beach. The house is on a dead end street so there is a bit less car traffic, even in the busy months.

The Space There is sufficient room to additionally sleep a 3rd person or child, and the Resort will provide a folding cot for this purpose. Please plan ahead, and contact Reservations should you need this. I believe there is a $15 per diem fee, for the 3rd person, (and possibly the same per diem fee for your party of 2). I will get clarification of these policies prior to your booking. The resort has been fully upgraded, from the room furnishings, to the addition of several gourmet restaurants, with beach front dining. The list of amenities are too long to list, but can be (EMAIL HIDDEN) Guest AccessThis is a resort, with access to their private beach, (the finest manicured beach on the East End), gourmet dining at the newly opened restaurants at the Resort, their world removed spa, health club, and choice of indoor or outdoor pools. As in any resort, the dining and spa services, are paid for extras, and are not included in the rental. Interaction with GuestsThe rental week is from Fri toFri. Check in time is 3PM. Check out time is 11AM. You are welcome to come early, and stay late, to spend the full day at the resort, on those days. This is a luxury resort, with a history that is a century old. It is not a shared house, or B&B. The NeighborhoodYou are minutes from the shopping, dining, nightlife, sightseeing, boating, fishing, from East Hampton, to Amagansett, to Montauk, to Sag Harbor. Getting AroundWhile the LIRR stops in Montauk, a car is a necessity to explore the East End. The valet service is free; your car is a phone call away whenever needed. The Space"Squarerigger" sits over Fort Pond like a yacht floating in an open bay. Wake up to sunrise views and relax all day on the pond. Our Starboard unit has two bedrooms fit up to four people in this private apartment in our 3 apartment home. Along with two bedrooms, there is a dining and living room area with an equipped galley kitchen. There are three apartments on the property with private entrances. The NeighborhoodOur home is centrally located between transportation depots and all of Montauk's best beaches, bars and restaurants. A couple hundred yards to the train station. A 10-15 minute walk to the downtown Hampton Jitney stop and The Point. A 15-20 minute walk to ocean beaches and The Sloppy Tuna. The SpaceQuite secluded, surrounded by tall shad bushes and almost complete privacy, our cottage is in the heart of Montauk--just a five minute walk to the beach (great surfing!), downtown area, lots of restaurants and the library. Modest but quaint--this place is a slice of heaven and provides a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The front deck features a redwood table, chairs and pretty umbrella for relaxation, a view of the front yard with a grassy hill and lots of songbirds. Inside, the kitchen, dining room and large living room provide ample space for hanging out, entertaining and having fun. A free standing "pot bellied" stove provides warmth if the weather turns cold. Internet and basic cable provided. Pets welcome with screening. Available by the weekend or by the week. Prefer longer stays. Two day minimum. Getting AroundEasy to get to Montauk via the the Hampton Jitney and Long Island Railroad. A local bus goes to the Hamptons and taxis are abundant.

The Space3 blocks from Montauk's most beautiful private ocean beach, this custom built 4 bedroom plus loft upside down home offers a 16x40 heated pool in a private setting with newly renovated blue stone coping, a shaded patio, outdoor shower, a large grass lawn, central air, upper deck with outdoor gas grill, and private doors from master suite and guest rooms to exterior. The 1,000+ sq ft open air living room with cathedral ceilings is a great area for festive dinners. Guests will have access to all areas of the house except the 2 car garage, which houses an additional office/studio space plus queen bed on the 2nd floor (for additional fee if long term rental.) Cable TV with premium channels, high speed internet through Optimum, Sonos audio system, and an upstairs and downstairs high resolution large flat screen tvs. We do not plan to be in Montauk during rentals. The house sits on the eastern edge of Hither Woods, an exclusive area in Montauk, with fully wooded, minimum one acre plots, offering privacy and safety. You can ride your bike, take walks to the beach or the sound (through Hither Woods Preserve) or hang out on the property in peace and quiet. Once you have stocked the fridge, there is little reason to leave the home. However, Montauk's LIRR train station is a 10 minute cab away. Ambassador and Hampton Jitney buses will drop you off in town, a 7 minute cab ride. Cleaning fee - $200 with no shedding dogs. (Cleaning fee - $300 for guests with shedding dogs. Getting AroundThough you can get around on a bike, a car is highly recommended as we are too far from town to walk, though there are jogging trails that lead to town. Montauk does have a thriving taxi cab business that will pick you from anywhere within town limits, as well as drive you to East Hampton/Amagansett (Stephen Talkhouse has great live acts.) Other Things to NotePlease do not adjust the pool heater beyond its current setting. Central air should be kept at 72 degrees. Excessive use of pool heat and air conditioning will result in security deposit deductions. Gas meter will be recorded before rental.

The SpaceWe have a 8 yr. old home within walking distance of town and the ocean beach. The large room has everything you need: wi-fi, cable tv, small sofa, bathroom, queen bed, chairs, hair dryer, 2 private entrances and your own porch. In addition to the en suite bathroom that has double sinks and a large shower, you will also have access to a large outdoor shower for washing off the sand when you come from the beach. We are one of two houses on the street, so there is plenty of privacy and parking. Coffee and tea are served in the house foyer where there is also a small fridge. You don't even need a car. You can walk to some of Montauk's great restaurants, like Harvest or ENE; night spots, like Surf Lodge, Montauk Beach House, and shops; the Hampton Jitney stop (1/2 mi.) or the Montauk train station (about 1 mi.) or take one of the very available Montauk taxis. Enjoy a glass of wine on your own private porch. We also provide beach towels and beach chairs, if needed. When summer has ended,it's wonderful to be in Montauk. Beautiful Fall days, relaxing reading the NY (URL HIDDEN) quiet and the deer are abundant right outside your window. From the airport or Manhattan, take the Hampton Jitney or Long Island Railroad right to Montauk. Both stops within walking distance.

The SpaceIf you don't already know about Gurney's, we suggest you visit their website. This room is listed as Premium Oceanfront and offered at rates significantly higher than this listing. Rooms are newly remodeled (2014), with hardwood floors and unobstructed views of the beach and the ocean. The listed rate is inclusive of per diem charges (they will be paid for you ahead of time) and resort fees. Maximum 2 people in the room (The listing shows no charge for extra people. One or Two guests maximum in the room.) Guest AccessGuests have full access to the spa and use of the general facilities. Individual treatments in spa and meals and drinks in the restaurant are on an ala carte basis and are not included in the listed rate. The property has several restaurants as well as food and beverage service on the beach, limited to Gurney's hours of operation and the weather. Interaction with GuestsI am a timeshare owner and will not be on site, however Gurney's is a full service resort with all of the amenities you would expect for a luxury property. The NeighborhoodYou can easily keep your entire stay on the property, but we suggest a visit to Montauk Village, about 5 minutes east of the property. Reserve a day to visit the Montauk lighthouse, about 10-15 minute past the village and on the very tip of Long Island. Save another day for Wolffer Vineyards and Winery, a few miles west of Gurney's. For the casual dinner of a lifetime, head to the Harvest in Montauk. Drive into town and ask anyone for directions. Bike ride? Take the ferry to Shelter Island for a nice day on the water. Fishing? Head to the village and ask directions to the docks. Best to reserve ahead of time. Getting AroundFor the best experience, bring your car. Valet parking is on site and included in your stay. As of my last visit, the one thing lacking at Gurney's is an elevator - so getting around does require some stairs. (No elevator? I (URL HIDDEN) one knows.) There are bellman on call almost around the clock, so luggage will not be a problem. Tips are up to you... Other Things to NoteAs a timeshare owner at Gurney's, I have stayed there many times over the years. I own a number of weeks at the property and there is probably no question I can't answer for you. Once you are there, you won't find a nicer beach anywhere in New York.

Each bedroom has a queen bed, with the exception of one guest room with two twin-sized bunk beds and a twin bed. The house sleeps 8-10 comfortably. The fully stocked eat-in kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances including oven/gas stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishwasher, etc. Guest AccessThe whole house is yours! Nestled in the historic Shepard's Neck neighborhood, steps from Fort Pond, Sole East, Ruschmeyer's, the beach and downtown, Montauk is within walking distance at all times. The house features furniture designed and built by the owner, as well as an abundance of windows and skylights that flood the house with light from sunrise to sunset. Outside, three distinct yards surround the house and allow for outdoor dining, lounging or a picnic. On colder nights, gather around to the stone chimney in the living room for some cozy time by the fire. Accommodations: Two queen size bedrooms downstairs and two full size bedrooms upstairs sleeps 6 comfortably. If sharing a single bathroom sounds scary, don't fret, there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower as well (it's amazing!). The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator and plenty of counter space. A side-by-side washer & dryer are available as well. The SpacePerfect Montauk house with fireplace perfect spring and fall getaways! This house is a new purchase, and was recently renovated and just listed for the 2016 season including al the holidays weeks. The house is located just a couple houses down the street from the Montauk Downs golf course. The location is also less than a mile from Ditch Plains beach, town and all the restaurants and shops located in the docks area. My house is a five minute walk to the golf course which also has a large swimming pool, restaurant, and public tennis courts for your enjoyment all year round. It is also a short walk to Crow's Nest restaurant which is one of the best restaurants in town with stunning sunset views. If you prefer to stay at home, there is a nice back deck and yard with a BBQ and hammock or a front porch which is perfect to read a book in the afternoon. Each bedroom sleeps two adults comfortably and has all brand new furniture, linens and mattresses. House also includes use of bikes (you can bike everywhere within 15 minutes so no need for a car), and a BBQ grill. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns!       This cozy Tudor will make you feel at home as soon as you drive through the hedges, as if entering in to a fairy tale. Just far enough(1 mile) from the hustle as bustle of town but close enough to ride your bike to the beach. It offers 3 large bedrooms(two have queen sized beds, one has two twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king sized bed)and 2 small bedrooms in the "wing" of the house each with one twin bed.
