We're in a quiet, residential area, so if you're looking for a good night's sleep, you'll be sure to get a solid rest. There are authentic restaurants at every corner (as we're near Queens), and great bakeries nearby.
Our home is also near several parks and beaches, so if you'd like to wind down from a long day in the city, you can walk near the pond or in the sand in the evenings. Jones Beach, Lido Beach, Long beach, Robert Moses Beach, Eisenhower Park, Nassau Coliseum and Nikon Theatre are all half an hour drive away.
We're also a great place for students looking to check out colleges, particularly close to Hofstra University, Queens College and St. John's. Columbia, Hunter, Baruch etc. are accessible by mass transit.
North Shore LIJ Hospital (Northwell Hospital Network) is within walking distance. Getting AroundIt takes five minutes to drive to the Long Island Railroad and from there, the train is a half hour ride to Manhattan. There are also bus and train alternatives nearby.
*Parking passes for the Long Island Railroad, New Hyde Park lot are available upon request, as it costs $4/day to park in the lot.
