Let me know what I can help you with. The NeighborhoodOur street is in the historic district of the village of Ossining.
Ossining is a river town with gorgeous historic homes, quaint pubs, and all the typical necessities you'll need. Everything is in walking distance, and there are several grocery stores that are great too. We love Ossining for it's beautiful architecture, Hudson River views, our sailboat is also here, and it is a quiet and peaceful train ride into Grand Central Station. (An express train will get you there in 45 minutes). Getting AroundYou have several options for getting around.
1. good ol walking will get you where you need to go around town, and easy walk to the train station.
2. Metro-North Hudson Line train station is a quick walk.
3. car--a car is ideal, unless you are staying and going in and out of the city.
If you are doing that, you really don't need a car.
4. There is a bus line on 9A. Other Things to NoteWe have a small hypoallergenic poodle who is 6lbs and does not go up the stairs to your space. Our home is very clean.
