We are a family of five and we live in Yonkers, New York. The house is a large Victorian House and we have been hosting International students and interns for several years. We are a fun, loving family and welcome those who would like to live with a family to improve their language skills and to have access to the City with just a quick train ride. My husband is a Classical Pianist and I am a Speech Language Pathologist. We have three daughters that are 25, 21 and 19 and they are all attending College. We are multi-lingual as we speak English and French. I speak Spanish as well. Our students have all been very satisfied. You can see our BigYellowHouse on facebook and see our pictures and read comments from previous guests.

The SpaceIt'll be like you have the whole house all to yourself, and when I'm home I respect people's space and privacy. (So yes I will be in the house while your here) This is a large mediterranean style house. As you can see from the pictures its very spacious and light-filled on a dead end block. So it is very quiet and private, last house on the block. I also have a large backyard and deck with a propane grill available for use. Upon arrival you will have clean sheets, towels and wash cloths. I also have a hair dyer available for use if needed. The house is also around the block from the bee line bus (number 2 or 6 line) that you can take to Getty square(Yonkers train station) or to the number 1 train(242nd street) to NYC or anywhere else you need to go in Westchester county. If you have a car its a 10 minute drive or a 20 minute walk to the metro north station(glenwood station) which is 35 minutes from Grand Central and 15 minutes to Yankee Stadium. My house is only a 5 minute drive from the Dunwoodie golf course and 10 minutes away from Vancourtland park golf course as well. Everything is in close proximity when you have a car. I have enough room for three cars in my driveway and there is also plenty of street parking on the block. Of course there is free wifi (fios). There is also an iMac 24" available for use on the premises. I also have multi-room DVR so if you need to tape one of your shows there is more then enough space on the DVR to tape it. I have HBO and Showtime on Verizon Fios. I also have NetFlix/Hulu programed on my smart TV so any night can be a movie night. There is also a high school football field one block away with a full track, but if you don't want to run outside I have a treadmill in the basement. Across from the high school is a police and fire station. St. Johns hospital is 8 minutes away(in a car). Sacred Heart church is one block away. The Westchester medical center is only 20 minutes away in a car as well. **** A new mall just opened 10 minutes away from my home called Ridge Hill. Hope to see you soon at my humble abode. Guest AccessThe guest will have access to the whole house. Interaction with GuestsOnly when the guest wants to. Other wise I leave them alone. Getting AroundThe bee line bus in around the corner

The SpaceWe open our home to you and treat you like family so you have a home away from home. We offer you a private room on the second floor of our quaint Victorian home. As you see by the photo of the house, there are stairs, plenty of them. There are twenty stairs to get to the house from the street and then more inside so stairs are no surprise. In the winter the room is warm and in the summer, the room is usually cool. If a heat wave calls for it, we will put an air conditioner in your room as needed. We have two dogs and a cat who keeps them both in check when she is around. Guest AccessEnjoy the use of the living room and dining room. There is no TV in the bedroom but there is a TV in the living room on the main floor for your use. There is a bathroom on the second floor with an inviting bathtub as well a second bathroom with shower on the first floor. Yes, the shower is on the first floor. By the way, let's not forget the chlorine filter on the shower that will leave your skin softer and hair silkier. Try it, you'll love it. If weather allows, feel free to relax on the front porch, in the front butterely garden, rear patio or upper level terrace. Interaction with GuestsWe are here for you. Do you need to know where to eat in the neighborhood, how to get into New York City or anything else? Just ask. Be our guest at the museum one evening or grab a snack with us if we are all around and the planets align our schedules. The NeighborhoodWe are on a quiet dead end street minutes away from a main thoroughfare but we are separated from it by a tree lined Aqueduct, which will provide you with solitude and peace as if you are a million miles away. If the life of the city that never sleeps is more your speed, we are just a 10 minute walk from the Metro North train, which takes 30 minutes to Midtown Manhattan. That means the Rockefeller Center, Broadway, Times Square. You name it, New York City has it. Also, keep in mind that the same Aqueduct across the street is great for a hike or a jog anytime you like. It runs North and South for miles and miles. There is a free kayaking program from June to August. The program is just minutes from our front door. Just ask and we'll point you in the right direction. Please note that there no driveway and limited street parking. Within a five minute drive, you will find restaurants in downtown Yonkers such as Japanese fare at Khangri, Cuban at La Bella Havana, French, American (New), Asian Fusion at Xaviar's on the Hudson (X2O), Italian at Zuppa or their weekday take out Andiamo. If your driving, the list continues. Of course, if beer calls your name, you must stop by a local favorite, the Yonkers Brewing Co., which is near the downtown waterfront as well Getting AroundWhile you are here, you are a 10 minute walk to the train, which provides a 30 minute ride to New York City. In addition, you are a mile away from downtown Yonkers where you will find restaurants, the downtown waterfront, sculpture gardens and so much more. Within a short walk, you will find tennis courts and a marina. You will also find our local gems, the Hudson River Museum with Planetarium as well as Untermyer Gardens not too far from our doors. Other Things to NoteA light breakfast is available but fear not, if you are gluten intolerant, vegan, have any allergies or special dietary needs, please let us know, we will make sure we have you covered.

The SpaceTwo important things to note: 1) My home is NOT in NYC. It is on North Broadway in the northwest section YONKERS (please look at a map to see where that is :-). You'll likely be happiest if you HAVE A CAR! 2) There is superfast wifi but NO TELEVISION in the apartment. In other words the only screen you'll have access to is the one you bring with you (i.e. your laptop or tablet). 3) Both the couch in the living room and the bed in the bedroom are lovely (as the pictures show). The price listed is for the sofa in the living room.. If you want the bedroom, please add twenty dollars to the daily price. 4) Also, please note that it is a 1 bedroom apartment! If you are staying with me and I am at home, you're in the bedroom and I am on the sofabed in the living room next to the bedroom. It is not like a private hotel room so if having passionate sex in a private place in the NYC area is what you're after, this setup will probably not give you the privacy you're looking for. As I said above, the apartment is in YONKERS, not NYC. To get into Manhattan (or other boroughs) you must either walk 15-20 minutes down an extremely steep hill to the Glenwood metro-north commuter railway station and take a 20 - 30 minute train trip (depending on the train) to Grand Central Terminal. You may also take the bus just outside the house that goes to the beginning of the 1 subway or the 4 subway in the Bronx. 5) If you take the train you can pay for a less expensive ticket and get off at Marble Hill station, catch the 1 subway train at 225th street station and take it further into Manhattan. You can also ride the commuter train to Yankees Stadium and take the 5 or B subway train from the Bronx (where Yankees Stadium is) to Manhattan or other boroughs. For what it's worth,I commute every day and I find it a pleasant trip. However, you should consider how you wish to spend your time/money before booking. Also, you should be fit because the hill between my house and the train is quite steep! 6) The building/neighborhood is very quiet. The light in the house is really lovely, spacious and very lightly but comfortably furnished. There are ceiling fans and air conditioners if it gets REALLY hot. Excellent wireless Internet. There is a supermarket and a few delicatessens and restaurants 15 minutes away on foot in the Lake Ave. Shopping District of Yonkers. Having a car does make things easier here. Guest AccessYou'll have keys and can come and go as you please. You may shop and store food in the fridge, etc. There is a market about 15 minutes away on foot (5 min by car). You may use my coffee or tea and milk and such. Interaction with GuestsI go to work everyday. I'm pretty busy with friends on the weekends. Sometimes I stay with my kids and their mom a few towns over. Consider it kind of like a roommate/housemate situation. Sometimes there's interaction and sometimes not. The NeighborhoodIt's not suburban and it's not urban. It's somewhere in between, so it's not always quiet. If you live in a city you'll be fine. If you live in the woods it may seem noisy at night. It is close to the Croton Aqueduct trail which is great for biking and hiking. There are great views of the Hudson from the bedroom and living room. It's convenient for commuting into NYC. There's a pizza place and a cafe about 20 minutes walk from the house (as opposed to, say, 5 minutes). In that sense it's NOT like living in a city. To go out or get anything a car is easiest, otherwise you need to be prepared to travel at least a mile on foot, bus, taxi, etc. Getting AroundGETTING TO THE FLAT AND GETTING AROUND THE AREA: I hope you have noted that my apartment is in YONKERS, which is outside of the 5 boroughs of NYC. North of the Bronx. And there is a STEEP hill between my apartment and the commuter train... having said that here are the options: To get from, say JFK to the flat, you can take a bus from JFK to Grand Central and then take the Metro North Hudson line north to either Glenwood Station and walk up the hill or to Yonkers Station and take a car service/cab to the house from there. If I'm in around when you arrive I could also possibly pick you up from the train and bring you to the flat. (Josh's taxi service) You can take the 'Silver Line' train from JFK to the 'A' subway train .. somewhere in Brooklyn you can change from the 'A' to the '4' or '5' to grand central and then take metro-north from grand central to glenwood or yonkers as above. Obviously you can take a cab or car service all the way but that's not inexpensive. You can look online for a car service (airport service) based in Yonkers that can meet you at the airport. Also not inexpensive but may be less expensive than a cab from the airport to the house. There is a bus service called the "Westchester Bee Line" which is a public bus service which stops in front of my building. From JFK you can take the silver line to the 'A' train.. then somewhere in Brooklyn chance to the '2' '3' line. When you get to West 96th street change to the '1' train uptown across the platform and ride it to the end of the line There you can pick up the westchester bee line bus that goes into Yonkers and along North Broadway. The Shonnard Ave. stop is close to the apartment. You should be able to find information about the Silver Line, Metro-North and the Subway at (URL HIDDEN) (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) for the Westchester Bee Line. JFK's website should have info about the Sliver Line as well. In terms of traveling in and out of New York City, the following information may be helpful: The 'westchester bee line' bus system stops right in front of the house. for $2.50 this bus can take you to the beginning of the subway in about 20 minutes. From the house it is a 15 - 20 minute walk (up and down a steep hill) to the Glenwood stop on the Metro-North Railway Hudson line. You could take this train to Marble Hill stop and change to the No. 1 subway (email hidden). or you can take this train to Yankee Stadium-153rd st. and change to the 4,5 and B subway trains into Manhattan. Other Things to NoteI don't own a TV. I do have super speedy wifi and nice internet radios in the living room and the bedroom.

The SpaceMy husband is a high school principal and I am the director of a yoga/wellness company. Our children are grown and gone! We are 25 minutes from the center of New York City by train, subway or car. We are also within easy reach of the lovely river towns to the north, and about an hours drive to sandy Jones beach. The nearest subway is 242 street, and the Yonkers or Ludlow railway stations are about 10 minutes away by car or a $10 taxi ride. The train from there gets you into Grand Central in about 25 minutes. There are buses to the stations, but it's easier to get around by car/taxi. You can also stay home and enjoy our lovely patio and garden. We have internet, wireless, cable TV, laundry facilities. Our house is airy and peaceful. We can tell you where the best local places are to eat, and there are some lovely walks and parks about 15 minutes away. What we like best about living here is that we have the best of both worlds - peace, birds chirping and greenery, and all that NYC can offer. A 15 minute drive north gets us to the lovely leafy river towns - Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Tarrytown etc. You can take a picnic to the Rockerfeller estate and enjoy fabulous views of the Hudson....ahhh! The NeighborhoodThis neighbourhood is called Park Hill. It's hilly, leafy and pretty, with some lovely big historic houses around. It's also safe. Our street is one-way so we don't get much traffic. Getting AroundThe bus stop is a 10-minute walk. Ludlow and Yonkers railways stations are on the Metro North railroad, about 25 minutes to Grand Central, NYC. 242nd street is the nearest subway. Other Things to NoteThe house is not suitable for very young children.

The SpaceThe space is small, quaint and cozy ideal for one person, however two can be accommodated. We have two twin Sleep Revolution Premier Memory Foam Folding Guest beds. These beds have received between 4.5 and 5 stars on many sites they are very comfortable. ****Please note it is a STUDIO which by NY standards has no bedroom. Part of the living room is turned into a very comfortable sleeping area. Bathroom: the bathroom was just given a very nice upgrade--new floor-new toilet- new shower floor, which is my fav. It's like taking a showroom in a spa with pebbles under your feet to massage them. The studio has direct access to the garden. We have a grill in the garden which you are welcome to use. The pics of the garden are listed in my other listing under Charming Victorian House. We are NOT a hotel or motel, nor are we a bed and breakfast. It is our home and in the spirit of Airbnb we open our home to travelers who desire to experience a home away from home. We trust that our guest will treat our home as it were there own. Privacy is very important for us. When you stay with us the studio is totally yours. While we honor a guests privacy-the common areas are just that -common. One such area is our garden. We welcome you to enjoy, cook and relax however, there are times that we will be there as well either entertaining or just vegging out. Check-In: 5pm-9pm Check-out 12pm Guest AccessYou have access to the garden as well as a parking spot if you do not want to park in the street. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as guests desire. The NeighborhoodI love my neighborhood. It is safe and convenient. We have a culturally mixed neighborhood. Transportation: We have a bus stop across the street and we are close to the Yonkers Metro North Station. Amtrak also stops there. The walk is approximately 10-15 min walk. Metro North gets you to NYC in 30 mins and it is a beautiful ride. We are also close to downtown Getty Square where you'll find great restaurants near the waterfront from $ to $$$$. I have listed them all here because I have been to each one more than once and I can vouch for them. I'm a foodie so I love tasting and enjoying food and atmosphere. Getting AroundYonkers Metro North Station and Amtrak. As well as a bus stop. Other Things to NoteWe have a drive way for a car if you don't desire to leave car on street.

The SpaceRelax and spread out on the top floor of our charming 19th century house in Yonkers overlooking the Hudson River, close to Metro-North train, with easy access to NYC to the south and rivertowns to the north. Your area includes a bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, a second room with a futon couch/bed, a breakfast area, and your own bathroom. The breakfast area includes a sink, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, small fridge, and cafe table, but no microwave or oven. We start you off with some staples (coffee, tea, milk, butter), you bring the rest. It's important to note that, while our neighborhood has an urban/suburban feel, there are no grocery stores, cafes, coffee shops, delis, restaurants, or bars within easy walking distance of the house. Whenever possible, we're happy to drive you to a local grocery store for supplies. The small bathroom, recently renovated, has a bathtub/shower and great water pressure. The sun-filled bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, with a window overlooking the Hudson River and the Palisades; the smaller, shadier room, with a window overlooking the Aqueduct Trail, has a futon couch that folds out to a bed. It can serve as a quiet living room space or second small bedroom (the rooms are not rented separately). No TV. Free Wi-Fi. The house is on a steep hill, so there is a climb of more than ten steps to the entrance and your rooms are on the third floor, meaning another two flights of stairs. You'll need to be in reasonably good shape to enjoy staying here. We live on a busy street across from a well-used public park. Occasionally music and party sounds reach the house, but it usually dies down after sundown. We have a dog. You won't have to interact with him (he is, however, very outgoing and loves attention). He is never allowed on your floor. Guest AccessYou have exclusive use of the rooms on the 3rd floor of the house (except for our office, which we don't use during your visit). You're also welcome to hang out in the backyard, which we also use. Interaction with GuestsWe are a quiet, friendly couple who are happy to share our house. We're eager to provide as much information as we can to help make your stay enjoyable. Please always feel free to ask us about anything and be sure to let us know about anything we've overlooked or run out of. We're pretty busy during the week, but when we're not, we love to stop and chat with guests who have time and inclination. We are respectful of those who prefer to be left alone to rest or enjoy the privacy of the suite. The NeighborhoodSteps from the Croton Aqueduct Trail, with access by car or bus to the shops and restaurants of the rivertowns to the north, very near the Metro-North train to NYC. Nearby is a park and the Hudson River Museum, with a small planetarium, amphitheater, and access to Glenview Mansion, built in the 1870s by financier John Bond Trevor (if the remains of Gilded Age opulence interest you, there is plenty to see within walking distance of our house--including the incredible gardens and views of Untermeyer Park). There is also a nearby park right on the Hudson, with great views of the Palisades and the George Washington Bridge, and a ramp from which to launch a kayak (though you'll need to bring your own--there are no rentals or loaners in the vicinity). Our neighborhood has an urban/suburban feel to it, with many great features, as noted. But this isn't a quiet country retreat--it is highly likely you'll hear traffic and other sounds during your stay. That said, there are no restaurants, grocery stores, bars, or shops within easy walking distance. There are a few restaurants nearby that will deliver, but the options are pretty limited. So, if you don't have a car you'll want to plan ahead, food-wise. When possible, we're happy to drive you to a local grocery store to pick up supplies. Getting AroundNew York City is easily accessed by train via the Metro-North station, a short walk from the house (if you're returning after dark, we recommend getting off at the Yonkers station and taking a car service); the train takes you straight into Grand Central Terminal, a major transportation hub from which you can easily reach any point in the city. If you're arriving by train during check-in hours, we're glad to pick you up at the station. From nearby airports, there is a convenient, comparatively inexpensive door-to-door shuttle service that is the best way to get to us, if you don't plan to rent a car or take a taxi. If you plan to visit the rivertowns or travel around Westchester, there is bus service on the street in front of the house, though it's easier by car. There's plenty of parking on the street. Other Things to NoteWe're glad to share information about places to visit and to help orient you to the area. Please feel free to contact us and ask us to elaborate on anything.

They created a community amid one of the most naturally beautiful areas in Westchester County. The neighborhood quickly attracted people who worked in Manhattan, but who wanted to live in a more tranquil setting. Among Park Hill's early residents were celebrities from the stage, screen and radio. The English actor Richard Bennett and his daughters Joan and Constance lived here. Dennis O'Brien, the corporate counsel for United Artists, hosted parties at his Park Hill home where guests included Charlie Chaplin, George M. Cohan, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks. Alfred and Dora McCann broadcast their WOR radio program from their Park Hill house, and drummer Gene Krupa made his home here. A variety of artists still live here in a distinctive community where they are neighbors with plumbers, doctors, police officers, clerks, teachers and others with blue collar and professional occupations. The SpaceComfortable Queen Size Bed with Long Dresser, Mirror, and Side Drawers. Room has heat and window air-conditioning as needed. Attached to a walk-in closet which can serve as an additional space for 1 or 2 additional guests (children or adults). A roll out bed and/or air mattress will be provided in those cases. Guest AccessYou can use any room except the private rooms of the host(s) and other guest rooms. Full cooking is not allowed but storage in the fridge and use of the microwave is. We ask while you are in the house to kindly remove your outside shoes for your comfort and ours. We do our best to keep the floors extremely clean daily, but even one walk-around in shoes tracks in an unexpected amount of dirt! Interaction with GuestsOne or more hosts will be available to assist you throughout your stay. If you request a service that is unique or special, a small negotiable fee may be asked in return. The NeighborhoodShops and public transportation shuts down relatively quickly around here and even earlier on weekends, but there are a few stores that remain open and if you miss the last bus, there are cheap cabs from Getty Square to our place. Getting AroundWe are near local buses that are 5-20 minutes away from major transportation bus or train routes. Uber and Livery car service is also available and parking is available to those with their own or rental cars. Approximate travel to mid-town Manhattan is about 30-35 minutes by public transportation and 20-30 minutes by car or car service. They're surprised how convenient our house is to New York City, whether by car, where we have ample street parking, or through public transportation by Metro North, or subway and bus connections (all accessible by Metro Card). 7. They love the super speedy Wi-Fi network 8. They love the friendly and very helpful hosts (Erik-Peter and Gregory) who give them personalized attention. 9. They absolutely love how comfortable the hotel grade queen-sized bed is with super clean and soft sheets, pillows and comforter, and what an amazing night's sleep they get! 10. The SpaceMy apartment is located on the top floor of my three story home. There are about 15 stairs to climb up and free parking across the street at any time, which is one of the NOT living in the heart of NYC. Inside the apartment, you’ll find all necessary items for a comfortable stay. We have a hair dryer, an iron, towels, shampoos and toiletries (in the bathroom) and the kitchen is supplied with a microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender and stove. The living room has a TV with cablevision channels and free-wifi is included free with your stay. If you prefer anything else, like a crib, extra pillows, extra blankets or anything of the sort, please inform me via messages prior to arrival. There are 2 bedrooms and one living room in the apartment. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other, a full-sized bed. The living room has a full-sized sofa bed that also sleeps 2 people. The apartment is perfect for a group of 6 people, super for family trips and groups trips! Or anyone else looking to be close to NYC without having to deal with the hustle and bustle of living in the middle of the city. Guest AccessI have a few simple rules, but I ask that you please follow them, Thank you! #1) Please take your shoes off on the stairway platform and keep them off while in the apartment to keep it clean from germs, dirt, and any mess from the streets. I do steam the carpets in the apartment a few times every year, but I ask that you help keep it clean for all future guests by not wearing any shoes in the apartment. #2) I would like to ask you to eat in the kitchen only. It's so much cleaner and hygienic for everyone. #3) In case of any spillage or mess that you may make, there is a vacuum in the closet by the entrance way, as well as other cleaning supplies, underneath the bathroom sink. I do not require that you clean the apartment prior to your departure, but any messes made during your stay should be taken care of promptly. In order to prevent bugs and insects from getting into the apartment, I do ask that you clean up any food spills of any sorts. #4) When you are not in the room or are leaving the apartment for the entirety of the day, I ask that you please turn off all lights and ACs. The light in the stairwell can be left on during the day if you are returning back when it is dark and therefore need to see. This preserves my energy bill and Mother Earth’s natural resources. If you are leaving the apartment and need some air, please just open the windows. If it is winter time, and you need to open the windows for some fresh air, feel free to do so, but please remember to close them prior to leaving the apartment for the day in order to prevent the heat from running 24/7. I sincerely thank you for taking care of this matter. #5) Being that this is a shared home, and my family is located directly below you, I ask that you are very considerate of our noise rule- resting hours are from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Please try to keep noise to a minimum during this time. The apartment is rented for 6 guests and any events or parties with a large group of people is NOT allowed. There is a noise law for the town as well, and so you must be considerate to our neighbors and the town rules. Thank you for understanding. Every household has its own uniqueness so please do treat my place like you are staying over at your friend’s home. Read the house manual book which I have provided for you here, before you started using anything. And if you have any questions, please do feel free to send me a message. Interaction with GuestsI try to make your stay as pleasurable as I can. I have included in your stay some breakfast items, like bagels, buns and croissants (whatever I can get for that day) cream cheese, butter, tuna fish, cereal, oatmeal and milk and juice. I also prepared a bowl of fruits so you can have a healthy snack upon arrival. This is all complimentary, so please enjoy! If you need to be dropped off to and/or from a nearby airport (JFK, LGA and HPN), I can arrange for up to 6 people for a fee of $75.00- please message me if this is needed in advance. You are free to use the coffee machine, tea pot, TV, washing machine and pretty much everything that is in the apartment, but please handle with care. For washing machine instruction- if you are not sure, please ask. We will exchange cell phones or you can always email me as I check my emails often. A drying rack is provided by the machine. It usually takes a few hours to air-dry clothes on it. The NeighborhoodENTERTAINMENT Just a quick 5-7 minutes away you’ll find Empire City Casino at the Yonkers Raceway for those who are wondering what to do here in town, as well as the Cross County Mall Walk Shopping Center (with a movie theater), the Plaza Shopping Center on Central Avenue, Ridge Hill Shopping Center with a movie theater, and just in case, St. John’s Hospital with urgent care just down to road for those unexpected emergencies. We are also located a quick 5 minute drive from Downtown Yonkers, which has recently been renovated and has day-lighted the Saw Mill River, along with a new harbor boardwalk along the Hudson River. FOOD In case you get hungry, there is a pizza place just down the road with delivery options, Chinese place and nice restaurants on this street, like Giulio’s, as well as Zuppa’s, X20s and the Dolphin, less than a 5 minute drive towards downtown Yonkers. I have included take-out orders in this folder for your convenience. Getting AroundThe apartment is a recently-renovated, stylish, 1,200 square foot attic-style apartment, located in Yonkers. The closest metro and subway stops are no more than a 20 minute walk, or a quick 5-10 min drive to 242nd subway station, by car or taxi. By car, driving to the center of the city – Manhattan – takes no more than 20-30 minutes if there is no traffic. We are located about 20-30 minutes from the LaGuardia airport and about 45 mins from JFK by car. It’s very easy to get to Times Square or the rest of Manhattan for those interested in touring NYC, and pleasantly hidden away from all of the noise, hustle and crowd of Manhattan. You can take a taxi to the train and/or subway by cal(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or if you let me know I can drop you off - if we’ve planned for that. Other Things to NoteMy appartment is in attic floor, with few walls that actually cut in the space. We had family and friends visiting who were over 6 ft tall and they didn't have any issues. Shower in the tub is pretty high so, those that are 6ft tall might find it ok.
