Jackson Farm has been in our family for 200 years. We renovated a farm house for visitors who wish to enjoy fishing, trails through Long Leaf pine trees, abundant wildlife viewing and participate in farm life at any level desired. The farm is located an hour's drive to the Atlantic Ocean, Fayetteville, Pinehurst, and Raleigh.
The Guest House overlooks our farm pond on a private 10 acre tract. Two bedrooms offer queen sized bedding with featherbeds toppings and cotton flannel sheets. The fireplace has old fashioned cooking crane for cooking and a large supply of seasoned firewood. Dishes, cutlery, microwave, refrigerator, gourmet coffee beans, outdoor porch shower and a clawfoot tub for long herbal soaks. Folks can pick herbs, cut flowers, and vegetables during their stay.
A fishing boat with paddles await all visitors to our family farm in northern Sampson County, North Carolina.
A comfortable house on our farm, located by a pond, with 2 miles of nature trails, and quiet privacy. We promise: no TV, no telephone, no newspaper, no radio, no computer connection, just peace and quiet with a small, diverse library, excellent teas and coffee furnished as well as a working fireplace with ample free firewood, and a kitchen with everything except a stove (outdoor grill and charcoal furnished, as well as a microwave and refrigerator, ice, bottled water).
