The SpaceSunny Parma Home is the perfect place for families. We know what it is like to travel with children, and how magical it is to be in a home where they are safe and welcomed. Our home is child proofed to the best of our ability. Whatever you need to make your travels easier, let us know- we have cribs, pack-n-plays, rock-n-plays, rocking chairs, high chairs and sippy cups. Toys galore for ages 0-5 fill our play room.
Sunshine fills all 1,100 square feet of our home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and tools you need to cook up a meal- except a dishwasher. Enjoy your breakfast at the breakfast bar. You are welcome to as much coffee and tea as you can drink!
The home has 3 bedrooms, only two with beds. We have enough air mattresses, beds, and couch space for 8, but could squeeze in more if need be. We can also provide a pack-in-play for little ones.
We are dog friendly, and our yard is completely fenced in. Guest AccessThe guests will have access to the whole house including the upstairs with the master bedroom. The kitchen, bathroom, office, and guest room are on the first floor along with the living room. you're welcome to use the washer and dryer in the basement, along with our detergent. We ask all guests to use the side door for entry and exit.
Enjoy your coffee on the front steps, one of our favorite spots to people watch. If you need some privacy enjoy the serene garden in back. Help yourself to fresh vegetables you find back there, in season, and enjoy your lunch on our patio. In the evening, to unwind, make a bonfire! Its one of our favorite ways to connect. Park your car in our driveway, the neighborhood is very safe. Interaction with GuestsUpon your arrival we will show you around and leave you the key, or we may leave you the key in the key box. After that you wont be seeing any of us unless something comes up and you need assistance.
If you need suggestions of places to see- just ask! The NeighborhoodParma is the heart of Cleveland. Its such an ethnically rich area filled with good families. Parma is known for its Eastern European roots, and here you can find the perfect homemade Pierogi around almost any corner. if this interests you check out State Meats, a local smokie and Kielbasa shop. Its award winning. Also check out Nikki's Cafe. Both are on State Road, called "Ukrainian Village". We're a mile away from Starbucks in two directions.
If you like good food and want to stay local check out Sittoos for the perfect Lebanese takeout, India's Cafe and Kitchen for authentic curry, Double Dragon for all you can eat Chinese, Seoul Garden for Cleveland's best Korean, or Jet's, our personal favorite pizza place which delivers right to your door.
The neighborhood is safe, the neighbors friendly. We are in walking distance from an incredible bakery called Rudy's Struedal Shoppe, the perfect place to pick up a morning treat. Chuppas is also a great walking trip. Its a family run market filled with European delicacies and local goodies. Grab fresh bread, organic cheese, sausage and fruit for the perfect picnic- be sure to check out their store made root beer! Theres a park two blocks away for littles. Do you need a stroller or anything else to accommodate small children? Big Creek Reservation is a great MetroPark up the street on Snow Rd.
Why even leave Parma? But if you must were 5 minutes from 480. 10 minutes from the exquisite and renown dining of Tremont- it's also filled with art galleries, farmers markets, and the best brunch places around. 15 minutes from Ohio City's Westside Market. 20 minutes from Crocker Park's gorgeous outdoor mall, 20 minutes from downtown and all its glory. The Rock N' Roll Hall of fame, Progressive Field, and the Science Museum is just the tip of the iceberg, including awesome nighttime spots. Were 25 minutes from University Circle where you find the Art Museum, the Botanic Gardens, Case Western Reserve, and the Cleveland Clinic.
We love our city, and would do anything to help you see the beauty of it! Getting Around️ We have two adult bikes, helmets, a bike rack, and a traitor that you are free to use! Please let me know ahead of time if you are interested in borrowing them. Riding through the local MetroParks is a favorite thing to do.
You can catch the RTA, the bus line, at Ridge Rd, just a black and a half from your stay. We've never used it, so cant say much. We would recommend Uber for a safe and speedy transport- just a $12 ride to the heart of downtown! Other Things to NoteIf you need to take out trash or recycling you will find the bins in the garage. We have television with built-in Netflix and WIFI.
We have two full sized bikes and a bike rack for the car. Cleveland has hundreds of miles of beautiful MetroParks.
