The SpaceAll of our home is open to your use, including use of the kitchen, refrigerator, the formal dining room, living room, and basement (if you wish to do laundry). We also have a porch and large backyard, great for soaking up the sun during the summer. (If you only need 1 bedroom for your stay, please go to our alternate listing for this site: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/11376728 )
We also have off-street parking behind our garage for one SMALL vehicle. But probably you'll just want to use on-street parking because there is usually plenty of that. Guest AccessLiving room amenities available to guests: TV w/ Xbox (including free Netflix and an assortment of DVDs and videoagmes), board games, built-in library, free WIFI (throughout house)
Kitchen amenities available to guests: oven, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker (both drip and french press), tea kettle, dishwasher, pots/pans, silverware, etc. Interaction with GuestsWe LOVE hosting people! Whenever possible, we'd like to meet our guests and offer any recommendations you may need. We both work at Dickinson College, and so can offer you advice and directions if you are here for a tour or other college-related business. The NeighborhoodBesides being just 2 blocks from Dickinson College, our house is just across the street from John's Restaurant--a local favorite featuring cheap breakfasts and lunches. We are a 5-10 minute walk from many of the quaint stores and restaurants in downtown Carlisle, including our favorites: Issei (Vietnamese & Japanese), Mt. Fuji (sushi), Cafe Bruges (Belgian), White Elephant (Thai), Andalusia (Spanish tapas), Helena's Creperie, Market Cross Pub, and many more! Other Things to NoteI know this is already mentioned on our listing, but I just wanted to remind you that we do have a cat in our house. She is very friendly and does not scratch or bite. We also have wood floors and vacuum frequently so allergies should not be a problem. The only time she may be annoying is when she meows in the morning or at night right when we're waking up or sleeping, but other than that she is not very noisy at all.
