The NeighborhoodThis is the absolutely perfect location in New Hope-- both completely central and walkable to everything while also just those few houses off the main strip to make it peaceful.
Across the street from the lovely public library, half a block From the New Hope Ivyland steam railroad, the Bucks County Children's Museum, dozens of restaurants, bars, art galleries, shops and boutiques, the amazing Delaware River, the bridge to Lambertville (one of the prettiest towns in all NJ and an antiques and foodie destination), the hundred mile bike and hike path along the Delaware River Canal, The Bucks County Playhouse, and so much more.
New Hope has been a crossroads between New York City and Philadelphia for centuries, a home to artists and intellectuals, American Revolutionaries, LGBTQ pioneers, Abolitionists, rock stars, Broadway legends, jazz heroes, motorcycle aficionados and party animals alike. It's as diverse, interesting and friendly as any small town in America. There's nothing not to like! Getting AroundWe are about a 15 minute walk from the Lambertville, New Jersey Transbridge Bus Line stop, or a two minute Uber ride from there (ditto for the New Hope stop, though that walk is along a major road and we wouldn't recommend walking it.)
There's a bicycle rental shop approximately half a mile up the street, as well as a car rental location nearby. You can take the bus in from New York City in under 1.5 hours, or Philadelphia in less than an hour, then rent two or four wheels to tour the whole countryside and a dozen adorable river towns within striking distance, or simply go without wheels and walk everywhere New Hope and Lambertville have to offer. Other Things to NoteWe have done everything to make your stay as comfy as home. Keurig coffee maker with selection of coffees, teas and cocoa, some light snacks and beverages, and a full array of cooking tools if you choose to stay in for a meal or two. Fast wifi, a 40" HD TV with built in Roku for watching Netflix, and a Bluetooth speaker setup so you can enjoy your own music from a mobile phone or iPod.
