The SpaceThis 1960's retro apartment building was renovated in 2014 and converted to condos. There is a pool on the property. Depending on the time of year, you should layout, swim, and relax. The condo is on the 2nd floor of a 2 story retro apartment building. The accommodations are similar to a nice hotel room in size but it has added features that make it more like a small apartment. There is a queen size bed, flat screen TV, free wi-fi, living area with a couch, and a bathroom with a shower. The couch is a sofa sleeper to add extra sleeping. But what makes it even better is that you have a small kitchen to prepare and store meals, and a private entrance that allows you to come and go easily. It is just far enough outside of downtown that you can be there in a heartbeat but also enjoy time outside of downtown. You can come and go with ease. This unit is ideal for both business and pleasure travelers. We are located on the bus line, very close to town, tourist attractions, and the neighborhood is very walkable. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire property. Prior to your arrival, you will receive a unique keypad code that will serve as your keys to the property. The SpaceThis space is one of the handiest spots in town. Handy as a pocket in a shirt. It's close to all the things you want, far from all the things you don't want, and has pretty amazing parking. The beds range in size from HUGE to BIG to small to pull-out to futon, so there's something there for everybody. It's the bottom floor of an apartment building, so there are two other units above you. We'd just ask that you be mindful of that when hosting your ho-down, or practicing for the mechanical bull. Guest AccessYou've got the run of the fullback. V apartment; make yourself at home! We'll send you all the details and info with lockbox code, parking specifics, etc. as the date of arrival nears. There's off street parking reserved just for you directly behind the apartment for one car, and plenty other parking available in a nearby gravel lot that's open to all visitors.bbb b Interaction with GuestsWe live a few blocks south on Belmont, so we're here if you need us. But if you don't need us, you're on your own! (Just don't blow the place up, or roast a pig in the lawn, that would just be v. Downtown/Lower Broadway is about a 7-15 minute drive and approximately $8 Uber/Lyft ride, we hear. It's only a few miles, but it's not very walkable - uphill all the way back :( You are walkable to 3 amazing neighborhoods. Belmont - the one out your front door, 12th South - a few blocks away has tons of restaurants, vintage shops, coffee houses, cafes, and a park, and Hillsboro Village - a quaint little road with shops, food, coffee, and pancakes. The SpacePlenty of space to spread out, yet very close to town. Enjoy grilling on the patio, a fully stocked kitchen, with lots of entertainment options. $10ish Uber rides from both downtown and the airport, so close enough to town yet still in a quiet neighborhood. Can comfortably sleep four with two bedrooms (queen, full) and a couch that makes a very comfortable full bed. I also have a pack-n-play and would love to have anyone with small children in my home anytime. Guest AccessAnything you need, you shall have, this is my personal residence so the kitchen is mostly stocked. Interaction with GuestsHappy to interact with guests as much as you'd like. I will more than likely be out of town while guests are here, but will always be available via text, and will connect them with other folks in town should they be needed. The NeighborhoodVery diverse neighborhood extremely close to anything you need: airport, downtown, great restaurants and coffee shops. If you like ethnic food, there are several amazing places within walking distance. Getting AroundA bus line that will take you directly into downtown is about a half a mile walk from the house. Uber/Lyft rides into downtown will be $10-12 one way, which is about as cheap as parking.

The SpaceThis newly renovated condo is in a very charming complex which was built in 1960. However, it has been completely renovated, and has new furniture, new paint, new carpet, new appliances, new bathroom tile… new everything! It is a very inviting and comfortable space, and we have made it a space that we would want to live in, ourselves. The queen-sized bed has a brand-new, super comfy Stearns & Foster pillow top mattress. There is also a very nice sofa on which a 3rd person can sleep comfortably. The full kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, and all the basics such as plates and flatware. We worked very hard to make this space as nice, and comfortable as our own home. We want you to enjoy everything about it! Guest AccessEverything in our condo, as well as our community patio area with adirondack chairs and fire pits, AND our amazing pool (during pool season, of course)- all available to our guests. Interaction with GuestsWe both work very close by, and can be there in a flash, if you need us. Otherwise, we will leave you alone. Feel free to call if you want to ask questions (we have LOTS of opinions about the best restaurants, the best shops, and the most fun stuff to do…), or need anything at all. The NeighborhoodThe condo is in a residential neighborhood right between 12South, and Franklin Pike/ 8th Avenue. We LOVE this neighborhood! It is so centrally located, and walking distance to amazing restaurants, trendy bars, GREAT shopping (clothing boutiques, home decor stores, antique stores, gift shops, etc), hair salons, grocery stores, liquor stores, drug stores, and is only about a 7-minute drive to the center of downtown. We think it is the best neighborhood in town- so much so, that we actually live about half a mile from the condo. That said, we are very accessible should you find yourself needing anything we haven't already thought of. Getting AroundIt is very easy to get around here. The condo is an easy 15-minute walk to the heart of 12South, & a 20-minute walk to the hipster Belmont neighborhood. We recommend renting a car, as there are lots of cool areas in Nashville to explore, but if you don't want to do that, there are car services, such as Uber and Lyft, as well as several bike rental stations all over the city.

The SpaceThe Mod Pod is a sweet little apartment in the middle of Belmont. With 3 restaurant bars, a vintage store, salon, and coffee shop literally out your front door, you can't ask for much more as fas as location goes. The apartment is comfortable for 2 in the queen Sleep Number bed, but 3 can stay if your third guest is cool with sleeping on a futon-turned-bed. It's there if you need it. Guest AccessYou have the whole apartment to yourself, but there are two other apartments in the building, so please be mindful of that as you go about your business. There's off street parking reserved just for you directly behind the apartment for one car, and plenty other parking available in a nearby gravel lot that's open to all visitors. Interaction with GuestsWe live 4 blocks away, so we're around, but we'll also stay out of your way unless you need us - in which case, we'll be down in a jiffy! The NeighborhoodThe Belmont neighborhood is one of the most solid and delightfully charming places you'll ever stroll through. Getting AroundDowntown/Lower Broadway is about a 7-15 minute drive and approximately $8 Uber/Lyft ride, we hear. It's only a few miles, but it's not very walkable - uphill all the way back :( There's also a bus stop out the front door and some rentable bikes blocks away. You are walkable to 3 amazing neighborhoods. Belmont - the one out your front door, 12th South - a few blocks away has tons of restaurants, vintage shops, coffee houses, cafes, and a park, and Hillsboro Village - a quaint little road with shops, food, coffee, and pancakes. Other Things to NotePlease note the excellent drink specials across the street, notable at PM.

The SpaceI am a teacher and have a bedroom for rent in my cottage home on a quiet street. Vanderbilt, the stadium, and the bus lines to downtown are all within a nice walk, as are a variety of restaurants. This is my son's room, he is away at college. It has a full size bed and a day bed. The room with two separate beds, sometimes a microwave and a coffee maker, is not extremely spacious. There is parking in the driveway. I have a large dog, sometimes he is not so quiet, but lovable.

I also have a full size air mattress I can provide for guests. Guest AccessEverything in the house minus the bedroom closet and a few drawers. There is a front porch, but it is a shared space with the next door neighbor (she and her pup are very nice!) so please be courteous. The SpaceWe have various prints of the Nashville skyline from a local photographer in the studio and my girlfriend has really helped make this place cozy and comfortable, while maintaining a modern city-like vibe. We are walking distance to many of my local favorite restaurants and bars! Also, we're a fifteen minute walk or a $5 cab ride to 12 South and Belmont, and not much further to Vanderbilt University and downtown/midtown area. I've lived in this area for five years and the location is only getting better! You'll have access to the pool when it's in season. Also we have a Keurig with complimentary K-cups, an iron and ironing board, and all other necessities. There is a queen sized bed with a 6-inch memory foam bed topper. There is a brand new full sized futon with a real mattress for extra guests! I've never been on a more comfortable futon. We have a bistro dining table that seats four for a night in and also cable and wifi of course. The unit has a lockbox for the key so entry to the studio is seamless and safe. If there are any issues what so ever I live close by and am just a phone call away. There is also ample free parking space, which is a huge plus. We are walking distance to local favorites like M.L. Rose, Sinema, The Sutler, The Smiling Elephant, 8th and Roast, Bolton's Chicken, Craft Brewed, and the list goes on. My favorite local music venue "The Basement" is just down the street as well. The studio is close to 12 South Area, Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, and a straight shot down 8th Ave to downtown! I recommend using Lyft or Uber to get around, it's a more local feel than taking a cab. They will often give recommendations on spots to go and answer any questions you may have. Unfortunately at this moment the water pressure in the building is not stellar, I apologize for that and am working with the owners of the building to get it up to speed as quick as possible. I greatly appreciate your understanding. You'll have access to the pool when it's in season. Also we have a Keurig with complimentary K-cups, an iron and ironing board, and all other necessities. We won't impose or intrude if you want your privacy and we're happy to answer any questions or give you recommendations for things around town if you want to chat. The NeighborhoodWe're in Woodland-in-Waverly, the oldest surviving suburb in Nashville, just south of the heart of downtown and convenient to everything. I-65 is literally a stone's throw away (but no traffic noise). Downtown, Broadway, Music Row, Hillsboro Village, 12 South, and West End are all just a few minutes away. You can also walk to a comedy club, corner bar, coffee shop, and a host of cool thrift/antique shops and tasty restaurants. The neighborhood is safe, charming, and quiet with wide streets and sidewalks just made for strollin'. Getting AroundNashville is a growing city but we don't have much in terms of public transportation yet. There are city buses but they do not run that frequently. The number 8 bus has a stop 2 short blocks from our door step and runs North into downtown Nashville. There are some free bus routes in the downtown area. Check the Nashville Metro page for details. Your best bet is to rent a car for your stay or make use of taxis, Uber or Lyft. You can also rent a bike from one of the many kiosks around town. Other Things to NoteOur rates include city taxes.

The SpaceOur guest house is a private guest suite above our detached garage. The garage is new construction in a historical neighborhood. The accommodations are similar to a nice hotel room in size but it has added features that makes it more like a small apartment. There is a queen size bed, flat screen TV, free wi-fi, living area with a couch and chair, a small table to eat a meal, a desk to take care of business, and a bathroom with a shower. The couch is a sofa sleeper to add extra sleeping. But what makes it even better is that you have a small kitchenette to prepare and store some small meals, and a private entrance that allows you to come and go easily. It is a quiet retreat that is also right in the middle of it all. This code is changed every time we have a new guest so it is very secure. It will work for the time of your reservation only. Interaction with GuestsMy company's name is UrbanNashville. We are here to help make sure your stay is as amazing as it can be. If you have any questions or are less than satisfied with any part of your experience, please contact us right away so we can fix any issues you might have. Inside the property, you will find a property and neighborhood information book. Not only will this book have our contact information in it for your convenience, it will give you all the info you should need about the property and also places to check out in the area! The NeighborhoodThe house sits between two of the most popular neighborhoods in Nashville:12 South District and Belmont/Hillsboro. Both are full of shops and restaurants. The guest house is also walking distance to Hillsboro Village, Vanderbilt, Belmont University, and only minutes to Lipscomb University, downtown and all the Nashville tourist attractions. Getting AroundON FOOT Walk just 5 minutes and find yourself at the beginning of the 12 South District! UBER AND LYFT Both of these ride-sharing companies have a strong presence in Nashville. Whether it is midday or midnight, just open your UBER or LYFT app on your smartphone and a ride will appear within minutes. TAXIS Nashville, like any other city, has taxis of all shapes and colors. There are so many taxi companies that we really cannot recommend any one over another, and we encourage you to investigate rates and reviews to find one that suits your needs. MTA BUSES The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses run all over Metro Nashville and even some surrounding counties. Very reasonable fares and the wide range of routes make the bus a cheap and easily navigable choice for visitors. The Music City Circuit route is free and includes many stops along key points of downtown Nashville. NASHVILLE B-CYCLE Nashville’s bicycle sharing program has been a huge success with locals and tourists. Simply walk up to any Nashville B-Cycle station, swipe your credit card and pick out your red bike! PARKING Plenty of off-street parking is available. Other Things to NoteBecause the weekends tend to be our most popular time, we typically require a 3-night minimum and Friday and Saturday nights to be booked in the same reservation. Under certain scenarios we can make exceptions to this, so please ask if you are looking to check in or out on Saturday! Find me on Instagram (@urbannashvacations) if you are interested in some great local spots and events to try! Interaction with GuestsI'll greet you if schedules permit otherwise guests will have full privacy from check-in to check-out. Myself, Natalie, and the housekeeper are on call 24/7. The NeighborhoodBelmont is a historic neighborhood and home to many famous musicians. Walking through the campus is absolutely beautiful and you must visit the Belmont Mansion which is only a 3 minute walk away. Music Row, Hillsboro Village, and 12 South are all only a 5 minute walk away too The Boros: Belmont -Pm across the street has great sushi, burgers, and fusion dishes. For sushi my favorite is the snake roll. They have a great burger and I also love the East meets Wedge Salad. For wine you can ask for the wine of the moment which is only $12 for a bottle and is usually pretty good. (email hidden) and chat up some locals. You might even find me there :) -Chago's has great mexican food. Look on the menu for the Tacos Barachos. You get 2 tacos of choice, rice, (email hidden) and a shot of tequila for only $12. -International Market has authentic thai food. You can order a-la-carte but I recommend ordering fresh from the menu. My favorites are Shrimp Pad Thai or the Indian Noodle soup with choice of meet. -Blvd is a mix of french and american cuisine. It has really great prices and a intimate setting. -Bongo Java is a solid coffee shop and has a solid breakfast menu. Get 2 eggs, hash-browns, toast and coffee for $5. My favorite is the Salmon plate. -Kalamatas is next to Subway past the Circle K. It has great Mediterranean dishes. I recommend the Lamb Gyro or Combination Kabob plate. 12 South District. This is my favorite neighborhood and host to my favorite bar, bbq, pizza and coffee shop in nashville. This can be reached by walking for about 5 minutes. Start by exiting the building, turning left on Belmont Blvd and heading south for about 3 blocks, turning left at Linden and going another 3 blocks. You'll dead end at 12 South Ave. Turn right and you'll pass many great restaurants and bars on your way to Sevier park. First you'll pass -Savant vintage store. Tell Beverly to stop hoarding her treasures and give you a better deal. She really does have some classic clothes in there. -12 South Taproom has some of the best food and best beer in Nashville. -Mafiozo's (email hidden) and pizza joint. They have 2-for-1 pizza slices and drinks on Tuesdays. -Frothy Monkey is my favorite coffee shop in Nashville and has amazing food too. They recently started serving beer and wine too. A great choice and should not be overlooked although it can be crowded at times. -Edleys BBQ is to-die for and has great prices. $8 for your choice of sandwich and two sides. -Burger Up has some of the best burgers in town. Veggie, salmon, and other burgers available too. -Sevier Park is great for adults and families. Take a blanket and book or get some exercise in. More info available Hillsboro Village This is another great district with great food an array of boutique shops. There are too many for me to list but you're sure to find great food and great shopping. Spend an afternoon exploring the shops and eateries. To get there walk right out of the apartment and follow it around the left curve. Keep straight until 21st ave, turn right then walk 2 blocks. Getting AroundLyft I highly recommend using the lyft app. Its like Airbnb but for transportation. If you don't have it then PLEASE ask me to send you a link and you'll get $25 in free transport. That's equal to 1 free airport drop or 3 rides to downtown. Cabs can be called or you can use the Taxi Magic app. This app works great. Cabs to downtown cost $8-10. Again, I recommend using the lyft app. Nashville's bike share bicycles are available in Hillsboro Village and 12 South District and of course everywhere downtown. This is a great option for exploring the city and parks. Bus: A bus stops in front. Look for the bus stop sign. It costs $2.50 and runs in and out of downtown. The bus is a great choice if you're going downtown or out to Green Hills mall. Otherwise I don't recommend taking the bus anywhere else because the routes aren't set up for quick transport around the city. They're only setup to get you in and out of downtown. Other Things to NoteShould 3 or 4 persons stay, the living room contains an additional double bed that folds out of the closet. This is an older building and there are some rough areas in the apartment. They don't bother me but they might bother you. The unit has old windows and some of them don't open. The bathroom is clean but not luxury by any means. The kitchen sink is pretty worn out. I will say that my housekeeper is very good so you can count on very Clean and Crisp stay. Pets are not allowed at this time. No smoking is Unit. Bag storage is not provided. Please plan accordingly.

We love Nashville, and have put a guidebook on our listing full of our favorite Nashville spots. And we will be (along with our furry friend Ozzy) just feet away - so we are happy to help you with anything you might need or give more recommendations! The NeighborhoodWe live in the Historic Woodland In Waverly Neighborhood. We love that we can walk to our favorite coffee shop, and that we are just minutes away from the 12th South area - full of local restaurants and bars. This is a mixed neighborhood, like all of Nashville, with some houses that have been flipped and others that need some work. Great people and friendly neighbors! Getting AroundWe are located about 10 minutes from BNA International Airport. The city is very drivable, but if you don't have a car, there are many locations you can walk to from the house. There is a city bus that stops a couple of blocks away from the house with very cheap fares. Also easy to get a cab or uber. Other Things to NoteMy husband and I are both young professionals in the music business, and my husband primarily works from home. If you are around during working hours, you might hear music :)

The SpaceThis house has been featured on A&E, numerous country videos, tons of magazines, media events with CMT, Rolling Stone Magazine, and so much more! With soaring 15 ft ceilings, the first thing you will notice is the hand carved and recently hand sanded gingerbread Victorian staircase. The house has custom trim, tile, designer touches throughout. 6! Yes six original hand carved and tile fireplaces. Our goal is for our guest to enter as strangers and leave as friends. We stay nearby and are always available to recommend dining options, music venues, and hot spots to visit. This property is in Woodland-in-Waverly (formally 12 south), the oldest surviving suburb in Nashville, just 2 miles south of the heart of downtown and convenient to everything. We are in the neighborhood if you need us, but will likely not cross paths unless specifically requested. The NeighborhoodThis is the closest established neighborhood to downtown! You can not stay any closer to the action. While I would not recommend walking, since an uber is so cheap and convenient, it has happened. I walked it when I was 8 months pregnant. This house is in one of the HOTTEST neighborhoods of all Nashville-- walk to just about everything or just stay in the neighborhood and stroll around appreciating all the historic charm. Lots and lots of early 1900 mansions and 1920/30s bungalows! The SpaceThe Birdhouse at the BFC is an entire floor of my house just for you! It's a finished attic space, so unless you're a Polly Pocket, you'll want to stay towards the "middle half" of the room while standing. I'm no shorty and have no problems getting around up there, but the ceiling does slope down toward the outside walls. Guest AccessThe house has 2 living rooms, both with cable television & lots of books & magazines, a fully loaded kitchen, great outdoor spaces in the front and back of the house, (email hidden)ly, loving lab to welcome you. There's a community center 1 mile away with $3/day access to a full gym, pool and indoor track. Interaction with GuestsI've lived in Nashville on & off for 14 years, love music and food and bars and all things Nashville- & I can't wait to share it with you. The NeighborhoodRolling hills and large, spacious, wooded lots are typical in this area. Getting AroundYou'll really need a car to get around conveniently. The nearest bus line is about 2 miles away. 6 miles from downtown, midtown, and Gulch areas. Other Things to NoteThis is a non-smoking house. I prefer not to have smoking on the property, but can accommodate a clean, considerate smoker outside.

The SpaceWe have a lovely, uniquely furnished (western theme) garden apartment with your own private entrance in our 1920s Tudor house. Centrally located in the trendy 12 South area of Nashville. You can walk to over 30 restaurants within a mile and half and loads of shops. Take a leisurely walk, jog or play tennis in Sevier Park just one block away. Take advantage of our brand new community center with a gym, track, basketball court, the center has yoga and other classes as well. The apartment is located very near 3 universities Belmont (1.5 mile), Lipscomb (1 mile) and Vanderbilt (3 miles). We are also close to downtown (lower Broadway, Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville Convention Center, State Capitol, the gulch) as well as the hospital district and Green Hills Mall. We recommend having a car as Nashville's public transportation has it's limits. The apartment has a private patio area right out the door where you can sip coffee in the sunshine. The apartment is fully equipped with 2 sofas (1 is a sleeper) wifi, dish network (movies), iPod dock, sheets, towels and plenty of cooking gear if you want to cook. We also have just remodeled the kitchen with brand new appliances, cabinets, shelving and a new tin ceiling. We have also added brand a new washer and dryer for our guests convenience. This distinctive pad is furnished with Western art and 1950s kitschy knick knacks. We have a brand new Queen size posterpedic bed and a sleeper sofa in the western themed living room. So much to do but just in case you want to chill we have a brand new flat-screen TV with satellite and ROKU, an older TV set in the bedroom is connected to a DVD/VHS player and we have a small library for guests. This is much better than a motel or hotel and you can't beat the neighborhood. Oh also we are great hosts and love meeting people from all over the world. Y'all come! Guest AccessIt's all yours in your own space, kitchen, laundry, bathroom all in your private apt. You share nothing with the rest of the house other than heating and cooling. You also have your own parking driveway with space for guests vehicles too. Interaction with GuestsWe like to greet our guests upon arrival. Meeting people for all over has been one of the fun parts of hosting. That being said we are available for advice anytime but we let the guests decide how much interaction they want. The NeighborhoodParks, walking, shopping, food, history and more. Exercise in our brand new community center and or walk/run/play in two parks (one across the street the other a block away). Start your tour of history with a visit to the Battle of Nashville Monument Park, visit plantations at Sevier Park, Belmont University and Travelers Rest. Stop by Fort Negley Park to see how the Battle of Nashville looked from the hill above the city. Getting AroundIf you are flying in we recommend renting a car. There is a bus system but public transportation is limited and expensive unlike large cities like New York, Chicago etc. The bus system is operated on a spoke plan so no matter what direction you want to go you have to go downtown first. Both Lyft and Uber drivers are just a phone call away. Other Things to NoteNashville is the country music mecca but to think of Nashville as only country is mistaken. In fact the term 'Music City' comes not from the C&W music business but from the historic Fisk Jubilee Singers. Explore the other genres: rock, folk, blues, jazz, r&b, and loads of other sub-genres. Museums abound from the Country Music Hall of Fame, Musicians Hall of Fame, Musicians Hall of Fame. Fisk University, Tennessee State Museum, Frist Center, Cheekwood, the Hermitage, Lane Motor Museum and the Parthenon. Explore history with Civil War forts, plantations, battlefields and much more.

The SpaceEnjoy your time in the Music City by staying in your own private 1920s Craftsman Bungalow. Just 15 minutes from downtown and from the airport, the house is conveniently located. If you're heading downtown, the #12 bus has a stop 1 block away and will take you downtown in about 15 minutes. This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath house with original hardwood floors throughout. The furniture is mission style and minimal, so the house feels very spacious. You'll have the whole house to yourself to spread out and relax on your Nashville visit. Both bedrooms have a queen-size bed. Bathroom has a shower and full bathtub if you want to soak. Wifi and large screen plasma TV. Large kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and even some spices if you need them. There's even a dishwasher to do the dishes when you're heading out on the town. We communicate fully before you arrive so all the details will be ready for you. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is an outgrowth from the 1920s of houses for the train yard workers. The street is lined with 1920s bungalows--we think our neighbor even has one of the old Sear's bungalows-in-a-box that was built. We are just a block off Nolensville Pike, but it is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Being a block off Nolensville, however, gives you convenient access to a large number of ethnic restaurants very close (including Thai, Ecuadorian, Greek, Turkish, Cuban, and Mexican). Getting AroundWe are one block from the 12 bus, which will take you directly downtown for $1.70 a way. There is a driveway in which you can park if you will have a car.
