The SpaceOur home is 1300 square feet. Guests have full access to our home, with the exception of the Master bedroom. We have our own small library, and a Video game station in the living room. We have 2 TVs set up with a PS3, PS4, and an Xbox 360.
Guests have access to our outdoor fire pit and grill, as well as the electric fireplace in the living room. Guests also have access to the Art Studio, to paint, draw, write, or work as is necessary. It features 3 work stations; the easel, the drafting table, and a small desk. We have a fully functional kitchen, guests are welcome to space in the fridge as well.
We have a sectional couch, that can sleep 2 people if you need to bring a 3rd or 4th guest. We have 3 sweet dogs that will love you to death, and 3 cats to cuddle with. Our home is LGBT friendly, as all 3 of us are part of the community. There is art everywhere as well. Some is ours, some is bought. Feel free to use the stereo or Netflix. We are happy to engage in conversation or gaming in the evenings, as we will be sharing the living space. There is almost always someone home to help you with any needs.
We are 15 minutes from beautiful scenic drives through the mountains and we are more than happy to point you in the right direction. We are also avid hikers and campers and can help you find wonderful spots. We have 3 kayaks if you want to hit the water. We are 10 minutes from the Little River.
To be noted. We live on a gravel road at the base of a ridge. That means sometimes the road gets rutted out. You can usually pick a path through without doing damage to your suspension, but go slow. This is a rural listing. Guest AccessBedroom, Bathroom, Laundry Room, Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Yard. Interaction with GuestsSomeone is almost always home to assist with any needs. We can help point you to camping spots, hiking trails, and scenic drives through the mountains. We can also take you kayaking. We're happy to play board games with you, or video games, maybe even run a D&D game. We're here so there's lots of interaction. We are looking forward to meeting new people. The NeighborhoodWe live in the middle of the woods. We have neighbors near by, but we are surrounded by forest, with a view of the mountains through the trees out of our front door. Getting AroundWe aren't near public transportation as we are in a pretty rural area. It's a beautiful drive though. If need be I can always pick you up from the airport and drop you off. Or take you where you need to go for a little help with gas. Other Things to NoteWe do have 3 dogs, one of whom sleeps in a kennel in the kitchen at night. In the mornings she whines to be let out. She is friendly but hyper. Right now, or newest dog, Lorelai, had caused there to be chassis in the pack, so we're working on training them. It'll take some time and effort, please be patient.
