The SpaceThe main entrance leads into the living area, which includes leather reclining couch, loveseat, and recliner. Large windows along the entire back side of the home allow for natural light to fill the home, while also providing grand views of the lake, wildlife, and Texas vegetation. An HD television is affixed to a swivel mount above the Austin Stone fireplace, and professionally installed speakers throughout the room plus back porch provide first class surround sound. Basic Direct TV, and Play Station 3 are provided, which allow access to Amazon, Netflix, etc. The coffee table also rolls in the event guests need to utilize the living room floor space for the air mattress. The open air design allows the guests to see the dining area and kitchen from the living room, which creates a roomy atmosphere. The dining table is a simple pub style arrangement with seating for 4. The fully stocked furnished kitchen, with touch button glass surface stove top, includes everything you need to prepare meals and dine with ease. A front loading HE washer and dryer are available in the event that guests need to do laundry and a large pantry is stocked with appliances that aren't already out in the kitchen. The master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed with down comforter. Two large dressers provide more than enough space to unpack for any length of time and the walk in closet could be a room in itself. The furnished main bath connects to the master bedroom. It includes a shower with multiple head settings and a seat for relaxing after a long day on the lake. The guest bedroom provides a dresser and bedside table as well, with a temperature controlled queen sized water bed. The guest bath provides a bathtub, shower, and is also fully furnished. The back office provides a desk for work, reading, or studying which looks out onto the water. A printer, scanner, copier is also available and the home is equipped with wireless internet. Chances are you will be spending most of your stay relaxing on the large covered back patio, which boasts spectacular views plus includes a propane powered grill, tables and seating for over eight guests, outdoor patio speakers, and three kayaks, both single and tandem models. The spacious yard provides room for casual strolls and family activities and the handmade fire pit is great for the winter months. The home isn't bordered by fences so guests can freely move about the property, through the back, and into the adjacent park or down to the lake. Guest AccessGuests will have complete and total access to the entirety of the home and amenities with the exception of the garage which will remain locked. Interaction with GuestsMore often than not I will be located in Fort Worth, but I will be readily available via phone. In the event of an issue or a problem I will have several individuals in the area, to include the next door neighbor, who will gladly be able to assist whenever possible. In the event of a situation that cannot be resolved and has a severely detrimental impact on your stay, I will be open to discussion concerning compensation, reimbursement, or refund. The NeighborhoodThis home is nestled in the extremely low key and quiet resort community of Morgan's Point, where traffic is scarce and crime is practically non-existent. Located adjacent to the property and obscured by the woods is a public park that is accessible by walking path. The park includes picnic tables, benches, a swing set, and jaw dropping sunsets over one of Texas' most beautiful lakes. You will also find multiple lake access points and fishing spots at the neighboring park. A free public boat ramp is available just 2 miles which includes one of the several Morgan's Point Kayaking kiosks. Also for your convenience is a world class BBQ establishment that was completely renovated in 2014-15, including a large seating area with big screen TVs and a sports bar. Not in the mood for BBQ? Directly across the street is the local Mexican fare, with jukebox and cocktails as well. Getting AroundIf necessary, public transportation is available from neighboring Belton and Temple Texas approximately 10-15 minutes away. conveniently located 2 hours south of DFW, 30 minutes from Waco and 45 minutes from Austin.
