Dream Away Cabin is a brand-new, luxurious cedar log cabin located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Situated on a three acre private estate, just a few minutes walk to beautiful Canyon Lake, the cabin is well positioned to access all the lake amenities, the Guadalupe river, the famous Texas wine country, live music in Gruene, or alternatively just kick back on the huge front porch or in the double hammock under shady trees and enjoy the tranquility and observe the extensive native wildlife. This is an ideal vacation getaway for families or for that romantic retreat anytime of the year. Complete with Jacuzzi tub and native stone fireplace, Dream Away Cabin is guaranteed to create life long memories … The cabin is made to the highest standards with real exposed cedar beams throughout. The large wood-burning fireplace is perfect for those chilly Fall/Winter nights. It is constructed from local limestone and is a signature feature of the cabin. An antique chest in the living area holds a large selection of board games and toys for the kids. The cabin is furnished with high-end log furniture including a cedar log dining set in the large private screened-in rear porch - the perfect place for al-fresco dining. The master bedroom has a custom queen log bed with an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has a log bunk bed with a full over a queen in a very spacious configuration. Since the property is located in the up and coming Hill Country wine-growing region, one part of the cabin has been accented with elegant winery accessories and information is provided on some of the best winery tours in the area. We do however recognize the need for some twenty first century comforts so we offer free high-speed wi-fi for all guests. The property also provides ample parking space if you are considering bringing your own boat. Dream Away Cabin is in a secluded part of Canyon Lake in a location that offers complete privacy - the cabin is not overlooked on any side. During inclement weather, Olianna Bumbling Brook (a small wet-weather creek!) navigates a path through the live oaks on the west side of the property. This is a great place to explore for wildlife and also hunt for fossils. Throughout the year there are many deer that roam through the property and we offer all guests a bag of deer corn to feed them from the comfort of the front or rear porch. On occasion it is not uncommon to see a dozen or so deer wandering freely by the cabin. There are also foxes, badgers and a multitude of different birds that share this piece of land with us. During those beautiful warm Texas nights, grill outside with the BBQ we provide then sit out on the front porch in one of the rocking chairs and watch shooting stars or toast marshmallows by the outdoor fire-pit and watch satellites pass across the big Texas sky. The secluded location is perfect for star-gazers so don't forget your telescope! Alternatively, grab the acoustic guitar that we provide our guests and serenade your friends until the wee hours. Whatever your interests are Dream Away Cabin is guaranteed to create life-long memories … 3 acres of wooded land within walking distance to the lake. Complete with Jacuzzi tub and native stone fireplace, Dream Away Cabin is guaranteed to create life long memories ‌ The cabin is made to the highest standards with real exposed cedar beams throughout. During those beautiful warm Texas nights, grill outside with the BBQ we provide then sit out on the front porch in one of the rocking chairs and watch shooting stars and satellites pass across the big Texas sky. The secluded location is perfect for star-gazers so don't forget your telescope! Alternatively, grab the acoustic guitar that we provide our guests and serenade your friends until the wee hours. Whatever your interests are Dream Away Cabin is guaranteed to create life long memories ‌

Come sleep in the Trees! Cabin 2, Cardinal Casita The moment you arrive at our property and see the enormous eighty foot cypress trees with decades old wild mustang grapevines hanging from their limbs, and a 100’ footbridge that takes you safely across the seasonal creek to your private tree house, you realize you are in a special place. “Wait a minute, did you say a treehouse?” many people ask. Yes, but this is not your childhood plywood fort of days gone by. Our treehouses are newly constructed, engineered custom cabins with all the conveniences of modern living including air conditioning/heat, wi-fi, satellite TV, kitchen and bathroom. Picture your own custom cabin, with attached private deck and an open living, dining area and kitchen with a loft above and a master suite attached and a fully functioning bathroom with a walk in shower. The treehouses are actually attached to the large hardwood trees that run along a seasonal creek, which lend to the picturesque setting that will give you an overall exhilarating experience. We are very fortunate to be located near a very beautiful section of the Guadalupe River on River Road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. Though not right on the river, our cabins sit over the seasonal dry creek bed and have 400 feet of river access across River Road with hammocks, picnic tables, fire pits and chairs for your use as well as a nice grassy area to hang out, wade in the water or tube. Also be aware for those guests staying in the lofts upstairs, our cabins are custom built around the trees, to decrease the weight of the structure, we used spiral staircases to the loft which can be a bit narrow, but it is part of the charm of our treehouse cabins. Since we are so centrally located, you will be able to easily access and enjoy many of the best places the Texas Hill Country has to offer including river access from our property, Canyon Lake (a boat ramp is only minutes away), Whitewater Amphitheater, River Road Icehouse, Koozies, historic Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn and the many attractions New Braunfels has to offer, which is 11 miles from the treehouses. Many of our guests come here to tube and enjoy the Guadalupe River and take advantage of the ease in which they can access and enjoy the river by simply walking across River Rd. to the river access. By taking a shuttle up river and simply floating back down to the river access, you can tube with your group very easily! **KAYAKS and TUBES ARE NOT included, but can be rented at nearby outfitters. After a long day of tubing and river fun many of our guests enjoy relaxing and barbecuing along the banks of the river recounting the day’s excitement. Afterwards you can enjoy the nightlife and many live music venues nearby or simply hang out with your family and friends on your private treehouse deck. After a day or two of tubing and river fun, many guests change pace and rent a deck or ski boat at Canyon Lake or go to New Braunfels to enjoy Schlitterbahn Waterpark. When your group is ready for shopping, Gruene Market Days or the San Marcos Outlet Malls are only short drives away. While all of these activities described above are the main reasons many of our guests come to stay, others simply come for a quick escape from the city to recharge their batteries and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the croaking frogs or chirping crickets at night as they watch for shooting stars in the starlit sky. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, you will find it here. Come for a romantic weekend getaway or try your hand in the blue ribbon trout fishing on the Guadalupe. Our property is located next to the spot on the river where they often times stock the trout which makes it a great place to fish! You can wade the river yourself or hire a fly-fishing guide to take you down the river in a raft or fishing boat. Notes: 2 full beds in the Loft (accessed by spiral staircase), 1 clawfoot Bath with Shower. Additional amenities include: toilet, living room, river access, queen, coffee essentials, antiquing, groceries, fishing, water tubing, hospital, dish soap, cookware, nearby post office, water parks, ironing board, sight seeing, scenic drives, freshwater fishing, events allowed, heating, dishes & utensils, iron & board, tub, coffee maker, king, nearby atm, twin/ single, shower, fly fishing, bird watching, laundromat, lanai / gazebo.
