Comfortable furnishings offer curling -up with a good read in Winter or relaxing in Summer. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, two coffee makers and electric range/oven. Top Ten American Boardwalk pick Forbes Travel, 50,000 gallon acquarium, 35 acres of carnival like atmosphere. There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or adverse weather conditions. 21. It is the tenant’s responsibility to learn about safety precautions, warning signs of water conditions, and safety procedures concerning the docks and lake. Tenant agrees to have a responsible adult supervising minors while they are on or near the dock and/or lakes. Tenant is hereby notified that the dock and/or lake can be dangerous and Tenant accepts fully the risks involved. There are no rails to prevent a fall off of the docks or into the lake. 22. No firearms shall be allowed on the premises. 23. Tenant agrees that Fireworks and other hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property. 24. Tenant shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc. ; shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits. 25. Tenant agrees not to access the “elevator”, even if unlocked, without written conent by the Lanlord which is only granted in certain medical cases. 26. Tenant is advised that the property contains a gas stove and cook top, gas heating, gas grill, and other gas powered items and will seek help from management if the proper operation of such items is not fully understood. 27. The property has a fire extinguisher installed near the kitchen area. The fire extinguisher was fully charged at last inspection. The 5th bedroom has been converted into a family theater. The 6th bedroom has been converted into an exercise room with a treadmill, elliptical and weight machine and has a full bathroom. The theater room is with full surround sound system and a 75 inch DLP TV screen for your enjoyment. The home has a big gourmet kitchen with a 4 burner gas cooktop, a side by side refrigerator, 2 microwaves and 2 ovens. There is a 55 inch theater TV in the family room that overlooks the lake and swimming pool. Brand new tigerwood hardwood floors adorn the stairs and upper level. Tiles and wood floors are in the main level and marble floors in the master bedroom downstairs. There is a 55 foot long lap pool in the backyard overlooking the man made lake with a hot tub that has jets to soothe the aching muscles. Barbeque using the outdoor kitchen and watching the sunset over the lake or sunbathe by the outdoor pool. The master bedroom has a loft library with books to read and enjoy the lake view. Or schedule an in house massage by our excellent massage therapist friend Shannon. He does great deep tissue and relaxation massages in the library where we keep our massage table. Take an evening or early morning walk or jog around the lake in our backyard and all around the very safe neighborhood. Go fishing in the lake that is a catch and release lake. There are 2 great golf courses within 10 minutes from us and tennis courts 5 minutes from us. We are 15 minutes drive from NASA. Drive 10 to 15 minutes minutes to the Kemah Boardwalk where there is fine dining and amusement rides. You can walk by the Gulf of Mexico. A 25 minutes drive to Galveston and all its offerings from the Port of Galveston cruise ships, the ocean, Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark. A 35 minutes drive to Houston and the Texas Medical Center which makes it a very central location for tourists wanting to enjoy the most popular areas of Houston and Galveston. There is an excellent and massive HEB store 5 minutes drive from us. There is a huge Kroger food store and multiple restaurants in the same shopping area also 5 minutes from us. In Texas everything is big and spread out so you must have a car to drive around. There are no buses that come to the area. For the adventurous take a day trip to the Texas Hill country and wineries. This is one of the most affordable huge homes for a family to enjoy or a fully furnished place for a longer term business executive or winter snow birds. One bedroom with a digital keypad upstairs is locked along with a second storage room by the exercise room upstairs. The storage room contains our personal items for us to use when we are at home. The storage room is off limits to our guests. A small cupboard next to the refrigerator in the kitchen with a coded door is also locked and contains supplies for our cleaner. This is also off limits and for use by our cleaning crew. Thanks for your kind understanding! We have spices in the kitchen for our cooking needs. You are welcome to share them with us. We have salt, pepper and sugar that you can use if you need to in case you have not already gone grocery shopping. All basic linens, bedding, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, rice cooker, pots, pans, utensils, cups,wine glasses etc have been provided. Comforters, pillows, towels have also been provided. Shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and soap has been provided. If you run out and need more, you can make a list of the items you need and buy them at your expense at the grocery store. We use this home ourselves for our family and so you will find most items needed on a daily basis available in our inventory. If you are booking more than 60 days before your scheduled arrival date, ASK for a 30 % REDUCED DEPOSIT BEFORE MAKING YOUR BOOKING. Cruise the bay in a yacht with dinner or take a carriage ride. There is an amusement park with different rides for both adults and children. Shop in the many interesting shops in the area. Enjoy the Island of Galveston which is only a pleasant 25 to 35 minute drive since we are midway between the Houston downtown area and Galveston seawall. There is Moody Gardens to spend a day enjoying the different exhibits of the rain forest, live butterflies, aquarium, amazing IMAX movies about the natural world, ice sculptures exhibition in winter, Christmas lights exhibit from Thanksgiving till New Year and many more activities. Enjoy the Schlitterbahn Waterpark next to Moody Gardens in summer for the whole day. Sunbathe by the beach and stroll the seawall of Galveston or ride a family bike along the sea wall. We have gated parking in a secured porte cochere, garage parking and street parking that are all free for your convenience. It automatically returns to us when completed. It has important information about our home and goes over all the frequently asked questions. We have 3 infrared cameras at each entrance that monitors the number of people checking in. 99% of our guests are honest and decent people who disclose the correct number of people checking in. Less than 1% will try and abuse the system and so we have cameras installed to remotely monitor all the people entering the house along with our front and side neighbors who keep an eye out for us. There are 2 binders on the kitchen counter top by the window looking out to the garden fountain and courtyard. The 1st binder goes over the house appliances; use of the TV remotes, the power blinds, pool remote control etc. The 2nd binder goes over all the fun things to do around the Houston, Clearlake, Galveston and Texas Hill Country area area. We have one room upstairs by the exercise room locked with our personal belongings for us to use when we stay in our home. The study has a large filing cabinet with paperwork filed in it that is off limits to guests.
