The SpaceThis is the EAST ROOM. Upstairs there are 3 rooms to choose from. Each has a comfy King size bed. The bathroom upstairs has the original claw foot tub. Downstairs has 2 rooms 1 king & 1 queen, both new. The downstairs bath is all new with a jacuzzi tub and shower. All guest may use either bathroom. This is the perfect place to meet other fellow travelers with similar interests while still having the privacy of your own space. Explore the canyons of Zion National Park. Only a 20 minute beautiful drive up to the mouth of the park and you'll be hiking the Emerald Pools, Angel's Landing, and the Narrows in no time! We have done extensive renovations this past year. In the spring 2015 we will begin working on landscaping & painting the exterior. There are a few minor things that you may or may not notice that still need some attention but they will not interfere your comfort a & enjoyment. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire Isom Home and private access to their individual room with keys to lock. Wifi so bring your tablet or laptop if you want to watch movies or post pics of your adventures. Common areas include: Kitchen Parlor Dining Room Two Outdoor Porches Lounging Chairs to view the starry sky at night BBQ for grilling Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to answer any questions via text/email. We keep pretty busy so depending on the time of your stay we might not see you much. Karolyn is our liaison and is always happy to help with special requests. The NeighborhoodZion National Park is 23 miles away! It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive. It may be longer depending how you drive and how much you gaze in amazement. Just around the corner and within walking distance are lots of small shops( Main Street Cafe's my fav), ATV rentals, Gas station, Grocery Store, Movie Theater, Subway, Taco Bell, Ace Hardware and more! Getting AroundThere is a shuttle bus once you get to Zion. There are Cabs and shuttles in the St. George area but are expensive. It is best to have your own vehicle, There is plenty of free and safe parking in front of the house. Other Things to NoteThis is a 1 and 1/2 story home so the upstairs ceilings are part of the roof line. If you are tall you will need watch your head in SOME areas. The North, South & East Rooms are located upstairs. Also the staircase is original and has a steep incline & very small steps( 7" deep today's are 9"-11 "). You need to take care when using them. If you are unstable or have problems walking we suggest you choose one of the downstairs rooms. Those would be the NW or SW rooms. They have 10' ceilings so they are great if you are over 6' tall. They are both located off the Dining Room.

The Space This is the SW Room it is located downstairs. There is a Bathroom downstairs that has been completely remodeled and has a Jacuzzi tub & shower. This room has a new King size bed. It also has one wall that is exposed brick. The walls of the house are all 3 brick thick. Great for cooling and heating. Enjoy looking at the stars from the porch. The drive way is reserved for your parking. You also will have access to the kitchen and laundry in the main house. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to answer any questions via text/email. We keep pretty busy so depending on the time of your stay we might not see you much. Karolyn is our liaison and is always happy to help with special requests. She is in and out throughout the day and tries to meet everyone. Not everyone arrives when she is there but everything is ready and waiting. If you need her she is only minutes away. Depending on the Guests there are times when we have stayed up late drinking wine and telling stories. Then there are times when everyone is in bed before 8 or 9pm. ( Usually after doing the Narrows or Angels Landing). It's been 2 years now and so far all the guests have had a great time and are respectful of others and their space. The NeighborhoodZion National Park is 23 miles away! Just around the corner and within walking distance are lots of small shops, ATV rentals, Gas station, Grocery Store, Movie Theater, Subway, Taco Bell, Ace Hardware and more! Getting AroundPlenty of free parking abounds! Park your car in a safe place right outside the Granary in the driveway or in front of the house! Other Things to NoteThe main house can be full with up to 10 guests during our busy season. So we ask everyone to be considerate of each other when using the kitchen and laundry. So far no one has had any issues.

The SpaceStay at the historic Stanworth residence in Hurricane, Utah. Built in 1911, this charming Victorian home is only 20 minutes from Zion NP. Offering a beautiful suite with private entrance, full bath, covered porch and many other amenities See photos! As the photos reveal, this room offers a charmingly cozy space to relax after a day of touring the local sites. The queen size bed is extra comfy and you will have your own private bath. This suite is suitable for 1 to 2 guests. There is wireless internet at no extra charge, tv with Netflix and DVD player, coffee maker, mini fridge, private parking, a lovely covered porch overlooking the nicely landscaped grounds and your own private entrance. This suite offers extreme (website hidden) Sorry but breakfast is not included with your stay. The Main Street Café is conveniently located right next door and is open for breakfast & lunch or just a cup of coffee to sip on the porch. This property is centrally located in downtown Hurricane close to many other restaurants and shopping.     Just finished remodeling the inside of this great little place and we think it turned out terrific. It has new doors, cabinets, lighting, flooring etc., so check out the new pictures. In a few months we will be doing the other side of this property (it is a duplex) and so if you want to take a trip to Zion with your friends you can book both sides and each have your own space. There are two bedrooms, one is larger than the other. One king size bed and a queen size bed. We provide all linens and towels We call this a "make your own bed and breakfast" place. We do have complimentary pancake mix and syrup to get your day started right. There is a large space for RV parking besides having a parking area in front as well as on the street. We are in the process of putting in an outdoor eating area with a shade canopy. We also have a barbecue to grill up a wonderful steak or some chicken. There is a washer and dryer there for your use along with internet service. We also have a DVD player if you want to watch a movie you bring or check one out at a nearby Red Box location. We are in the process of updating the interior, exterior and landscaping, so watch for updated photos. NOTE: The home that is to the West of us is not that pretty, but the area is nice, lots of trees and hollyhocks. . House address is 21 E. 70 N. La Verkin UT 84745 if you want to look at the street view. The pictures you see will not be what you see when you come. We will be updating this property and it will be essentially new throughout. On the other hand I don't think you are thinking of coming to Southern Utah to compare houses, you are coming to have a wonderful time for yourself going biking or hiking or just getting away. We are very proud of our reviews and don't want to be damaged by other properties. One way you can get an idea is to check out our other property in La Verkin. Although La Verkin Utah may not be a well known name, this small town is at the center of a myriad of destinations. Within a 30 minute radius there are numerous biking trails, two lakes, Zion National Park, and St. George. At only 15 minutes away from I-15 it is easy to get to by car. If you go beyond a 30 minute radius you have Cedar City, North rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park, Lake Powell, Cedar Breaks National Monument and more. If you like Shakespeare you can go up the road about 30 minutes and see the world renowned Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, the Festival City. With our relatively mild winters you can hike and bike almost all year long. Located at 21 E. 70 N. in the small town of La Verkin Utah our home is ideally located to see some of the wonders of the world. Zion National Park is just up the road 20-25 minutes. Bryce Canyon National Park is about 2.5 hours away. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 2.5 hrs. away Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam is about the same. If you are flying in you are about 2.5 hours from Las Vegas and its large airport There are two lakes about 15 minutes away with fishing and skiing Brianhead ski resort is about an hour and a half. Of course there is snow skiing in the Winter, but they have lots of Mt. biking trails for Summer use There is a host of Mountain biking trails all within 15-20 minutes There is a great Mt. biking shop for repairs or rentals just 5 minutes away in Hurricane.       This is our fourth vacation rental and we have had a wonderful experience with them. We are working hard to get this online so that people can enjoy this part of the world this spring. This home is a modest 1000 sq. ft. but with everything that you need. There is a master bedroom with an on suite bath, plus two other bedrooms and bath. The master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedroom has two twin beds, so the home can sleep up to six. There is a large space for RV parking besides having a large parking area in front. It has a nice covered front porch to sit and sip a cool drink or just to chat. We also have a barbecue to grill up a wonderful steak or some chicken. There is a washer and dryer there for your use along with internet service. We also have a DVD player if you want to watch a movie you bring or check one out at a nearby Red Box location. There is a nice lawn and huge tree in the yard, likely the biggest one in La Verkin, complete with a rope swing! NOTE: The homes that line the street leading to our home is a mixed bag. There are some truly ugly homes and then some nice ones. It is one of the facts of little towns in Utah. The house address is 224 W. 300 N. La Verkin, UT 84745 if you would like to look at the street view. On the other hand I don't think you are thinking of coming to Southern Utah to compare houses, you are coming to have a wonderful time for yourself going biking or hiking or just getting away.         Casa de Zion provides a luxurious, yet comfortable, relaxing vacation escape situated on a bluff with panoramic views from our backyard of Zion National Park, Pine Valley Mountain, Gooseberry Mesa and Hurricane Valley spread out before you. This is a great location for family getaways, adventurers and corporate retreats seeking a central base to explore the surrounding National Parks of Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim and Lake Powell. Casa de Zion comfortably sleeps 20 on brand new Serta beds. The master bedroom has a king bed with sitting room and en suite with two sink vanity, over size tub and huge walk-in tile shower. Upstairs there is a 2nd king bedroom with bunks, a double queen bedroom, single queen bedroom and two other queen bedrooms with bunk beds in each. There are 4 full-size bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen is the center piece of the house. It was specifically designed for families and groups to enjoy meals together with enough seating for 10 at the dining table, 6 at the counter plus more seating for 8 at the bar and table in the adjacent casita. With gorgeous granite counter tops, beautiful cabinets and unique tile floors, the kitchen is fully stocked with high quality appliances including stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, double oven, dishwasher and microwave as well as blender, crockpot, griddle, toaster, coffeemaker, etc. to help supplement your cooking experience. Dishes, cups, glasses, wine glasses, and silverware are supplied for 24. There is a full bath adjacent to the kitchen as well. The covered back patio space is a fabulous extension of the family room and kitchen with a large stainless steel natural gas grill to cook your favorite meals and 2 outdoor tables for dining or just relaxing and visiting. With 4400 sq. ft., there is plenty of room to spread out. Casa de Zion features a great room off the kitchen with a 48” flat-screen TV & Blue-ray, a getaway sitting room for reading and conversation, casita/theater room with a flat screen 65” Smart HDTV, Blu-ray player and game room with ping pong and king size foosball. Of course, high speed internet and satellite TV is provided. After a fun day of outdoor activities, you can relax in our 34’x18’ pool encircled with plenty of chairs and chaise lounges. Since our pool is located on the East side of our home, afternoon shade is a welcomed relief. Our pool and hot tub offer breathtaking views of the majestic surrounding mountains. The safety of our guests at Casa de Zion is of upmost importance. We have recently retrofitted our home with a whole house sprinkler system. There is a smoke alarm in every room and a fire extinguisher on each floor. The pool area is surrounded by a 6’ wrought iron fence and block wall. The gates leading to the pool area are key locked and cannot be easily opened by a child. In addition, the pool has a cover that is key locked. Our Jacuzzi spa has a cover as well as a cable across the top that has a secure key lock. Our home is located on a bluff overlooking the Hurricane Valley and has a 4’ wrought iron fence to protect young children. We are within the immediate vicinity of world-class mountain biking trail systems such as Gooseberry Mesa, Little Creek Mesa and the JEM/Hurricane Rim Trails. Canyoneering, overland 4 x 4 driving tours, hiking, rock climbing and river tubing are other possibilities. In addition, close by are over a dozen golf courses, horseback riding, snow skiing, and Sand Hollow and Quail Creek reservoirs that feature boating, water sports, fishing and more! Day trips to Zion National Park are just 25 minutes away. We are 100 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (1 hr 45 min), 130 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park (2 hr 10 min), 138 miles from Las Vegas (2 hr 7 min), just 19 miles from St. George (Snow Canyon State Park, Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheatre) and 40 miles from Cedar City (World Famous Summer long Shakespeare Festival.) Springs are beautiful with desert flowers in bloom. Summers are warm with low humidity. Autumn is magnificent with its colors. Winters are mild with average daytime temperatures in the 50s to 60s. So, anytime is the perfect time to visit this unique part of Southern Utah! Our property is located in a residential neighborhood. Respect for our neighbors is essential.         The SpaceDescription of the space: This is a beautiful ranch-style home in a quiet neighborhood with small hobby farms and orchards. We are very close to town, and only 2 blocks from Highway 9 (the road to Zion). A few benefits to note: -We have very fast wifi (60Mbps). -We have a whole-home carbon water filtration system, so our water tastes great! (every tap is filtered... even the showers). See photo. -We have two 50-gallon water heaters, so we never run out of hot water. -We have plenty of parking for your rigs, so bring your trailers full of ATV's! We live in the upper floor of the house. Yours is the lower half, which is ground level on the north side (not a basement) and is 2100 sq ft of separate living space with a private entrance. It is beautiful and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facility, and a theater/cinema room with an 8-foot wide screen and leather recliners (3D and Blu-ray projector). There are 2 high-quality queen beds, 1 full-size bed with memory foam, and one quality twin bed. There is also a very nice queen sofa sleeper and two smaller couches. It has granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, 9-ft ceilings, and real Birch hardwood floors throughout. It has a walk-out entrance (no steps) and is wheelchair accessible. Enjoy the hot tub after a long day of hiking or biking! This is a beautiful home in a peaceful area. We strive to maintain a very peaceful atmosphere and experience for you. However, please keep in mind that this is a multi-unit vacation home. Most of our guests are here to visit Zion and the other nearby parks, which means that our guests are up early to get to the parks during the cool hours of the morning. That said, we ask all of our guests be patient with the morning scuffles and normal breakfast sounds of the other guests, but also to be conscious of each other's peace, and to please be as quiet as possible between the hours of 10pm and 8am. As a suggestions... it's a good idea to get all of your hiking gear prepared for the next day before you turn in for the night. Pricing is for 7, but 9 can be accommodated for a small extra fee per person. We require a 2-night minimum stay for weekdays, and a 3-night stay for weekends. Guest AccessGuest access is the lower north entrance (red double doors near the hot tub). There are no steps and it is wheelchair accessible. There is a keybad with an access code that will be set (personalized to each new guest) upon check-in. Interaction with GuestsWe will interact with you as much or as little as you'd like. Feel free to ask us about local sights and restaurants. And, for a very reasonable rate, we would love to take you to the lake on our wakeboard boat for wakeboard/surf lessons, or to show you some amazing hiking or mountain biking trails. The NeighborhoodA peaceful neighborhood, very near to town but also tucked away and very safe. Most of the neighbors have small hobby farms and orchards (no loud roosters nearby, thankfully). The views from the house are beautiful, including full views of Pine Valley Mountain. The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. California Condors fly overhead almost daily... and Great Horned Owls perch in the neighborhood at night. Getting AroundThis is rural Southern Utah... so, no public transportation. You'll need a car. If you really want to experience the full beauty of this area then bring (or rent) a 4x4, 4-wheeler, dune buggy, or mountain bike. Other Things to NotePricing is for 7 people. Sleeps 7 in beds (2 queens, 1 full, 1 twin) and there is also a queen sofa sleeper. There are two smaller couches in the theater room that can sleep one small person each. Additional people (above 8) are welcome with an additional charge of $20/ea per night per person. *VERY IMPORTANT* It is mandatory to shower before entering the hot tub (every time). And, no more than 5 people in the hot tub at one time. If you have long hair, please pull it up (hair products are not good for the hot tub water). If the hot tub water is murky when you check out (from not showering), the hot tub will need to be drained, refilled, reheated and reconditioned with chemicals. There will be a $200 fee for this, which will come out of the security deposit. So, please just ask everyone in your group to shower first. :) Feel free to use the BBQ. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is an established one, with long time residents. It is safe and the street is not very busy at all. The house next door is kind of run down. There are some dogs in the neighborhood that will bark at you once or twice, but grow accustomed to you and will not bother you. They are in enclosed yards or on a leash. If you find you have forgotten anything, there is a great grocery story just a few blocks away called Davis' Farmers Market and it should have everything you need. There is a new restaurant that will open soon in town, otherwise if you are going to eat it will either be in Hurricane, Springdale or St. George. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation available here, so you should expect to drive everywhere. If you are going to Zion there is a bus that runs around Springdale and can take you to the entrance.         The SpaceDescription of the space: This is a beautiful ranch-style home, very close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood with small hobby farms and orchards. A benefits to note: -We have blazing fast wifi (60Mbps). -We have a whole-home carbon water filtration system, so our water tastes great! (every tap is filtered... even the showers). See photo. -We have two 50-gallon water heaters, so we never run out of hot water. -We have plenty of parking for your rigs, so bring your trailers full of ATV's! We live in the upper floor of the house. The lower half, which is ground level (not a basement) is 2200 sq ft of separate living space with a private entrance. It is just as beautiful and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facility, hot tub jacuzzi and a theater/cinema room with an 8-foot wide screen and leather recliners (3D and Blu-ray projector). The private bedroom in this listing sleeps 3 and has a high quality full-sized bed with a memory foam mattress topper, and a high quality twin bed. The private full bathroom directly across the hall is large with a deep tub/shower. It has granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, 9-ft ceilings, and real hardwood floors throughout. The bottom level is a walk-out entrance and is wheelchair accessible. Enjoy the hot tub anytime before 10pm. This is a beautiful home and a beautiful/peaceful area. Guest AccessGuest access is the lower (north entrance). There are no steps and it is wheelchair accessible. There is a keybad with an access code that is changed weekly. This bedroom also has a keybad with an access code that will be set (determined by each new guest) upon check-in. So, this means that you can safely lock your room when leaving for the day. Interaction with GuestsWe will interact with you as much or as little as you'd like. Feel free to ask us about local sights and restaurants. And, for a very reasonable rate, we would love to take you to the lake on our wakeboard boat for wakeboard/surf lessons, or to show you some amazing hiking or mountain biking trails. The NeighborhoodA peaceful neighborhood, very near to town but also tucked away and very safe. Most of the neighbors have small hobby farms and orchards (no loud roosters nearby, thankfully). The views from the house are beautiful, including full views of Pine Valley Mountain. The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous. California Condors fly overhead almost daily... and Great Horned Owls perch in the neighborhood at night. Getting AroundThis is Southern Utah... so, no public transportation. You'll need a car. If you really want to experience the full beauty of this area then bring (or rent) a 4x4, 4-wheeler, or mountain bike. Other Things to Note*VERY IMPORTANT* It is mandatory to shower before entering the hot tub (every time). And, no more than 5 people in the hot tub at one time. If you have long hair, please pull it up (hair products are not good for the hot tub water). Feel free to use the BBQ. However, please clean the BBQ completely (including utensils) before checkout.         The SpaceThis is the last room to be finished. It has a queen bed and is downstairs. It is a bit smaller that is why the price is lower than the other rooms. This is where I stay when I visit. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire Isom Home and private access to their individual room with keys to lock. Wifi but no TV, so bring your tablet or laptop if you want to watch movies or post pics of your adventures. The NeighborhoodZion National Park is 23 miles away! It take 20-30 minutes to drive, unless you start slowing down to take in the amazing scenery. Just around the corner and within walking distance are lots of small shops, ATV rentals, Gas station, Grocery Store, Movie Theater, Subway, Taco Bell, Ace Hardware and more! Getting AroundThere is a shuttle bus once you get to Zion. There are Cabs and shuttles in the St George area but are expensive. It is best to have your own vehicle, There is plenty of free and safe parking in front of the house. Other Things to NoteThis is a 1 and 1/2 story home so the upstairs ceilings are part of the roof line. If you are tall you will need to watch your head in SOME areas. The North, South & East Rooms are located upstairs. Also the staircase is original and has a steep incline & very small steps( 7" deep today's are 9"-11 "). You need to take care when using them. If you are unstable or have problems walking we suggest you choose one of the downstairs rooms. Those would be the NW or SW rooms. They have 10' ceilings so they are great if you are over 6' tall. They are both located off the Dining Room.

A splash pad in town is great in the summer and the mtn bike riding available is LIMITLESS! Sand Hollow state park was warm summer waters and acres of sand to ride toys on. Hurricane is truly a great city and leads right to Zion National Park.         The SpaceThis is our fourth vacation rental and we have had a wonderful experience with them. This home is a modest 1000 sq. ft. but with everything that you need. There is a master bedroom with an on suite bath, plus two other bedrooms and bath. The master bedroom and one of the other bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedroom has two twin beds, so the home can sleep up to six. There is a large space for RV parking besides having a large parking area in front. It has a nice covered front porch to sit and sip a cool drink or just to chat. We also have a barbecue to grill up a wonderful steak or some chicken. There is a washer and dryer there for your use along with internet service. We also have a DVD player if you want to watch a movie you bring or check one out at a nearby Red Box location. There is a lawn and a huge tree in the yard, likely the biggest one in La Verkin, complete with a rope swing! NOTE: The homes that line the street leading to our home is a mixed bag. There are some truly ugly homes and then some nice ones. House address is 224 W. 300 N. La Verkin UT 84745 if you want to look at the street view. It is one of the facts of little towns in Utah. On the other hand I don't think you are thinking of coming to Southern Utah to compare houses, you are coming to have a wonderful time for yourself going biking or hiking or just getting away. We are very proud of our reviews and don't want anyone to say ' Hey I had a great time and it was just as described, but the street had ugly homes' We would love to have you book with us and become another one of our satisfied customers. There are some dogs in the neighborhood that will bark at you once or twice, but grow accustomed to you and will not bother you. They are in enclosed yards or on a leash. If you find you have forgotten anything, there is a great grocery story just a few blocks away called Davis' Farmers Market and it should have everything you need. Getting AroundYou will need a car to travel to local destinations. Hiking, repelling, boating, 4-wheeling, canoeing, biking etc. will provide your off-road transportation through our beautiful area.         The SpaceThis 2,200 square foot home was built in 1915. It has 5 bedrooms total, so lots of room to spread out! 2 queen bedrooms downstairs, each with a new bed. There is a bathroom downstairs with a shower. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms (1 with new queen) and two with 2 twin beds(so 4 twin beds total) and a full bath (tub/shower). In beds, it can comfortably sleep 10 people. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, including a spice rack for your cooking. Barbecue grill is in back house with the bikes. There is wifi, and you will find the code in the house. Flatscreen tv with DVD player, and some DVDs. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire house, a great front porch, 5 bikes in the back storage, hair dryer/coffee maker, soap and towels for 10. Washer/dryer in the mudroom. Key box attached to home, we provide code once payment is made. Interaction with GuestsI will not be present during your stay, but can be available to answer any questions. We do have a property manager nearby if you need anything. The NeighborhoodThis is a beautiful and quite neighborhood. One block away is a great park for younger kids, with a playground and water park feature. Basketball court, area to run. You can take the bikes out of storage and bike in any direction for beautiful views. Pickle ball racquets and volleyball nets and balls are in the laundry room. There is a pickle ball court 2 blocks west of the home. Zion National Park (20 min), Snow Canyon (30min)and Bryce. Gooseberry Mesa, known for world class mountain biking, is 15 minutes east. The north rim of the Grand Canyon is about two hours. Sand Hollow and Quail Creek Reservoirs are great for any water activities, and lots of 4 wheeler trails. Grocery stores nearby,River Rock coffee roaster just 2 miles away, health food store 1 block. This is an outdoor lovers paradise. Getting AroundA car would be helpful. Flying in to Las Vegas (2 hours by car to the home) or St. George (30 minutes by car) or SLC (4 hours by car) are your best options if flying. Other Things to NoteThis is a 100 year old home with a lot of personality. It is on the state historical register. We hope you will love it like we do. It has been in our family since it was built. Each room is sun filled, lots of natural light, and Hurricane is just a beautiful place to visit year round.

          Just finished remodeling the inside of this great little place and we think it turned out terrific. It has new doors, cabinets, lighting, flooring etc., so check out the new pictures. We also just finished the other side of this property (it is a duplex) and so if you want to take a trip to Zion with your friends you can book both sides and each have your own space. There are two bedrooms, one is larger than the other. One king size bed and a queen size bed. We provide all linens and towels We call this a "make your own bed and breakfast" place. We do have complimentary pancake mix and syrup to get your day started right. There is a large space for RV parking besides having a parking area in front as well as on the street. We are in the process of putting in an outdoor eating area with a shade canopy. We also have a barbecue to grill up a wonderful steak or some chicken. There is a washer and dryer there for your use along with internet service. We also have a DVD player if you want to watch a movie you bring or check one out at a nearby Red Box location. We are in the process of updating the interior, exterior and landscaping, so watch for updated photos. NOTE: The home that is to the West of us is not that pretty, but the area is nice, lots of trees and hollyhocks. . House address is 23 E. 70 N. La Verkin UT 84745 if you want to look at the street view. The pictures you see will not be what you see when you come. We will be updating this property and it will be essentially new throughout. On the other hand I don't think you are thinking of coming to Southern Utah to compare houses, you are coming to have a wonderful time for yourself going biking or hiking or just getting away. Within a 30 minute radius there are numerous biking trails, two lakes, Zion National Park, and St. George. At only 15 minutes away from I-15 it is easy to get to by car. If you go beyond a 30 minute radius you have Cedar City, North rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park, Lake Powell, Cedar Breaks National Monument and more. If you like Shakespeare you can go up the road about 30 minutes and see the world renowned Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, the Festival City. With our relatively mild winters you can hike and bike almost all year long. Located at 21 E. 70 N. in the small town of La Verkin Utah our home is ideally located to see some of the wonders of the world. Zion National Park is just up the road 20-25 minutes. Bryce Canyon National Park is about 2.5 hours away. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 2.5 hrs. away Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam is about the same. If you are flying in you are about 2.5 hours from Las Vegas and its large airport There are two lakes about 15 minutes away with fishing and skiing Brianhead ski resort is about an hour and a half. Of course there is snow skiing in the Winter, but they have lots of Mt. biking trails for Summer use There is a host of Mountain biking trails all within 15-20 minutes There is a great Mt. biking shop for repairs or rentals just 5 minutes away in Hurricane. For shopping there is a great market about 1/4 of a mile away as well as two gas stations There is a Walmart 10 minutes away in Hurricane and a Costco 30 minutes away in St. George. There are two golf courses within 15 minutes in Hurricane, Sky Mountain and Sand Hollow

            A 108 year old pioneer home, where the molding doesn't match and the walls aren't square, but if the walls could talk, oh, the stories they could tell! The kitchen and the 2 baths have been fully remodeled. It's clean and comfortable. On the 1st floor there is a living room, a kitchen, a full bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. On the 2nd floor there is a family room with a television, a ROKU with a Netflix account, a bath and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The family room has a sectional couch with a recliner. You may bring sleeping bags or bedding for an additional 7 people for a total of 15 people in the house. There is a port-a-crib in the upstairs closet. The kitchen is stocked with dishes (service for 10), pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, mixer, blender, toaster, waffle iron, dishwasher and microwave. Plenty of room to park several RVs, boats, trailers, ATV's etc., behind a large secured fence. World Class Mountain Bike trails and ATV trails close by. Zions National Park is also close. Two boating and fishing lakes within 10 miles. Check in is 4:00pm on date of arrival and check out is 11:00am on date of departure. Quite residential near major road ways.

              This is our second home that we use for travel in southern utah. It is a newer stand alone house with parking and a small garage. It is located about 20 Miles from Zion National Park. It comes complete with about everything you will need. It has a full kitchen with all utensils and cookware.                 The SpaceThis rustic 2 bedroom log cabin with vaulted ceilings is ready and waiting for your vacation enjoyment. The log furniture and library bench convert into extra beds, allowing you to sleep 8 people comfortably. The Master bedroom is filled with a California King sized bed, alarm clock and reading lamps. The second bedroom has bunk-beds that are all kinds of decked out with their own lighting, alarm clocks as well as USB/110V outlets. Each room is furnished with linens and towels. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for family dinners or just grabbing a quick bite to eat. You can also choose to grill your dinner out on the back deck of the cabin with the propane grill that is ready and waiting for you to use. The beautiful deck out front allows you to leisurely take in the beautiful local scenery after a busy day of playing. There are chickens in our rural little town and you’ll hear crowing as well as the occasional other barnyard animal. The “Casita” has a pull out sofa, large screen tv with vintage video games for you to play as well as the laundry facility and additional full bathroom. There is a full sized pool table outside under the carport next to the Casita for your entertainment as well. There is ample parking in front and to the West side of the cabin. The parking area is so big you can even park your trailer with your ATV’s or an RV. Parking to the East of the Cabin is used for our business that is run out of the large garage located on the property. The Jem Trail is a mere 4 miles, Gooseberry Mesa, Hurricane Rim, tons of other World Class stuff all accessible from the front porch! You’re also walking distance to quaint shops, restaurants, museums and local historic features. For those days when you have time to range further out, you have Zion National Park, which is a very scenic 25 minute drive. Leading up to the private guest porch you will find the decor of vintage wagon wheels and rustic columns, a water feature in the yard and plenty of seating on the porch. You can enjoy the porch any time of the day because it is covered. Forget having to fumble with a key as you enter the home with keyless access. The house is decorated in eclectic decor including vintage, upcycled, southwest and antiques, but also features comfort and fun. The bedrooms are appointed with comfortable queen beds with 3 in. memory foam toppers and blackout curtains but are unique as they are made out of a vintage Jeep and a Chevy truck. The bathroom features glazed concrete floors in a polka dot motif as well as walls clad with tin and 100 year old reclaimed barn wood. For your comfort, we provide shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath. The sitting room decor is tin, reclaimed barn wood, vintage stained glass windows and is furnished with a futon for an extra sleeping space as well as a dining/computer table. There are also a lot of different animals in the neighborhood. You can see the cows across the street, listen to the roosters or go down the street and watch all the goats and horses. There is also an Ostrich Farm on the way to Zion (you can even buy ostrich eggs!!) We are close to 3 or 4 parks that appeal to children. There is a gym nearby. You can purchase a day pass. Other retailers nearby include: Grocery store, post office, coffee shop, restaurants and gas stations. Or you can travel to Hurricane, which is about 3 minutes away. Hurricane has lots of shopping, restaurants, fast food outlets, theaters, grocery stores, gas stations, library, free water park/splash pad for kids, museum, antique stores, a Walmart and an urgent care medical clinic. For additional shopping and restaurants, St. George is not too far away. Getting AroundIt is all dependent on what you are wanting to do. If you want to hike trails around the neighborhood, you'll need feet:) If you want to bike around you'll need a bike. If you want to go to a national park, you definitely need a car. Other Things to NoteWe are the gateway to 5 national parks such as Zion.(20 miles away) If you have never been you should go!! Bryce, the Grand Canyon, Capitol Reef, Lake Powell (For a day out on the water), Kolob Canyon, Brian Head ski resort (also fun in the summer), Mesquite Nevada for the closest gambling (If thats your scene there is at least 3 different casinos), Tuacahn if you want to see a play or a concert, Quail Lake or Sand Hollow for camping or boating (You can also rent an ATV and go riding), Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival or you could go into Zion National Park and hit all the hotspots like Angels Landing or hike the Narrows, horseback riding, and tubing down the river.                 The SpaceWell maintained trailer with a dining table for four that slides out the side of the RV to increase interior space and makes for a nice big front room area. The table also makes into a bed for two smaller adults or children. Living area has a couch with hide-a-bed that also sleeps two medium adults or children. Private back bedroom enters through a sliding door to a queen sized bed. There are two half height storage closets, with additional storage above and under the bed. Kitchen has a 3 burner gas stovetop and microwave (gas oven is not available for use), good size refrigerator/freezer along with all the utensils needed for meal preparation. Flat screen TV with DVD player. Digital Antenna TV reception is usually not possible in or near Zion Park. The bath/shower/toilet room is separated and across the hall from sink/vanity which has plenty of storage for toiletries. We can be accessed by, email or a phone call. We will be very accommodating to any special needs and wish to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. To increase your interior living space, we can provide additional watertight storage boxes for any luggage or gear you don't need to keep inside the RV with you. These are available by special request only. If you reserve a site without 30 amp power and you run down the battery, you will have no lights, heat or refrigerator (gas or electric).                 The SpaceDescription of the space: This is a beautiful ranch-style home in a quiet neighborhood with small hobby farms and orchards. We are very close to town, and only 2 blocks from Highway 9 (the road to Zion). A few benefits to note: -We have very fast wifi (60Mbps). -We have a whole-home carbon water filtration system, so our water tastes great! (every tap is filtered... even the showers). See photo. -We have two 50-gallon water heaters, so we never run out of hot water. -We have plenty of parking, so bring your trailers full of ATV's! The private entrance to the suite is from the rear of the home on the upper level balcony (the far right red door that you can see in the photo). You will enter directly into the main space, which is a large bedroom/living area with 10-foot ceilings and real hardwood birch floors. This space includes a heavenly pillow-top king bed with a down comforter and designer pillows. Another queen pillow-top bed pulls out from underneath king. There is a sitting area with a leather couch, two designer upholstered chairs, and a large 55" TV. There is also a very nice dining table in this room that sits beneath the large square window (near the entrance) so that you can have breakfast with a gorgeous view of Pine Valley Mountain. The bathroom is huge. It has granite counter-tops and cultured marble shower and tub. The large walk-in shower is big enough for two people. It also has a large jetted Jacuzzi tub, and two sinks on the very large L-shaped vanity. There is a closet in the bathroom that is large enough to fit/hang all of your clothing for your group. Your private kitchen has access from the bedroom and also from the bathroom. It is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook any type of meal. There is also a washer and dryer in the kitchen in case you need to wash some clothes before you repack your luggage. The colors are inspired by the surrounding area, with orange and blue accents. There are also some beautiful original art pieces hanging throughout the unit, done by local professional artists. As you are aware, this is a home and not a hotel. It is peaceful here and feels like home, which is surely one of the reasons you are interested in staying with us. Concerning noise, we ask that you please be considerate toward our other guests in the lower level, and toward us (we live next to you in the main section of the home). If your plans include late nights of partying or loud music, then this might not be the place for you. California Condors fly overhead almost daily... and Great Horned Owls perch in the neighborhood at night. Getting AroundThis is Southern Utah... so, no public transportation. You'll need a car. The off road cycling trails are the best available. You can actually drive your OHV from our door to the trails. If you're a 'roadie' cyclist - there are miles and miles of safe riding. Guest AccessYou will have private access to your studio guest suite, with its own fully equipped kitchen (inventory in advance - upon request) and bath (soaking tub/shower). The accomodations are modest in size, with no additional sitting room. There is a seating alcove which also converts to 2 bunks, but is in the same room. There is also plenty of parking and secure facilities for your recreational toys. It will accommodate 2 adults and 2 smaller people. Interaction with GuestsYou may have whatever interaction you desire. Our goal is to make you comfortable but to respect your privacy.
