For more details on each room read below: Entrance and Dog Space: The space has a private side entrance and a fenced yard for your animals if you have them with you. It is a spacious basement apartment that you would have all to yourself. Kitchen: There is a full kitchen that includes a stove, microwave, and dishwasher so you can make your own meals. The kitchen will have all basic necessities, including tea pot, toaster, salt and pepper, and all cooking essentials. We also have a little dog feeding station all ready for your little buddy to eat and have a drink of water when they arrive. We feature a Keurig coffee machine fully stocked with all of the necessities to make your morning "Cup of Joe." Bedroom and Bathroom: You will have a jetted tub in the bathroom suite that will be great for relaxing. The bedroom features a large king size bed with a small flat screen television with access to local channels as well as a DVD player for watching movies. The bathroom will have bathroom necessities that you may forget like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste as well as a hair dryer. Family Room: There is an open family-style room with a large flat screen television that features Blu-Ray DVD player with access to Netflix and Comcast cable television with over 100 channels including all major sports channels. There is both a comfortable futon for extra guests to sleep and a cozy couch for sitting and watching the TV or playing the many board games we have available. Laundry Room: The washer and dryer are for your private use and are not shared with any other residents. There will be detergent and dryer sheets available for your use. Guest AccessIt is a spacious basement apartment that you would have all to yourself. There is a side entrance and you would have space to park in the driveway or along the front of the house so that you could come and go as you wish. Interaction with GuestsWe are a very busy family of 4. We are constantly coming and going and have a very active life. We love guests and would be happy to interact with you when we are home, but that is completely up to you. If you want to have privacy, we can completely respect that as well. The NeighborhoodThis home is within 1 hour of all Ski Resorts in both the Ogden Valley and Salt Lake and Park City areas. It is perfectly located for anyone looking to have easy access to Salt Lake City but not wanting to be right in the downtown mix. Getting Around20 Minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Easy access to both I-15 and Highway 89. 5 minute access to FrontRunner, Lagoon Amusement park and the Farmington Station Shopping Center. This home is within 40 minutes of all Ski Resorts in both the Ogden Valley and Salt Lake and Park City areas. Great access to Farmington Canyon Trailhead for a beautiful hike. Other Things to NoteThis is a basement apartment, so you will hear our footsteps from time to time! My 13- and 15-year old kids are very active with school and extracurricular activities and in the afternoon we are coming and going to and from activities.

The SpaceWe love traveling and when we decided to list our basement apartment on AirBnB we made sure it would be a place that we would love to stay. We have a library of books, workout equipment, fully equipped kitchen, and a separate office space for our guests. If there is anything missing for your stay all you need to do is ask! Guest AccessYou'll have access to our backyard, with 3 apple trees, and our amazing view. There is separate parking on the side of the house for our AirBnB guests and you have two entrances into our AirBnB space. Interaction with GuestsMatt works from home and will be available to help with any of your needs while staying at our home. Both of us have lived in Utah our entire lives and would love to give recommendations for great food, fun, or relaxation. The NeighborhoodWe live in a tight knit community and because of that the area is very safe and very family friendly. We are 2 houses away from a place of worship and our guests are more than welcome to attend. We are within 2 miles of the Station Park outdoor mall, Lagoon amusement park, restaurants, parks, grocery shopping, freeway access, our local FrontRunner train, and Cabela's (opens April 2016)! Getting AroundWe are within walking distance of local transit (bus and train) and less than a mile from the freeway entrance. We are located between the two major skiing areas in Utah. North of us we have Powder Mountain, Snow Basin, Beaver Mountain, Wolf Mountain and Nordic Valley. South East is Park City, Deer Valley, and The Canyons. South of us is Solitude, Brighton, Alta, and Snowbird. There are many LDS temples within an hours drive of Farmington, including Temple square, at the Salt Lake Temple grounds which includes the tabernacle, the conference center, 2 church history museums, the new genealogy library, and much more. City Creek outdoor mall is located across the street from temple square and has a lot of fun stores and places to eat. In Farmington: Station Park is a great outdoor mall with tons of different stores and restaurants, a place for kids to play, an interactive fountain with lights and music, concerts in the summer, and more. Lagoon amusement park is about 5 minutes away (open March through October), Cherry Hill water park is about 8 minutes (open March through October), there are paved trails all over Farmington for bikes, roller blades, walking and running, mountain trails are just a few blocks away with hiking trails, a pond, and an amazing view! We have multiple parks, and in the summer there is a youth theater that has productions going on. Other Things to NoteWe ask is that no vehicles block the driveway. We will make sure nothing is blocking the parking on the side and ask that you make sure nothing blocks access to the garage or driveway. Please do not take anything that is provided in the apartment. We want all of our guests to be able to enjoy the items we have provided.

The SpaceOne room has faded, peeling but charming wallpaper and wifi. The other room downstairs is in The Teenage Boy Recovery period. It is clean and habitable with a double bed, lots of windows, a door that closes and wifi. The two downstairs bedrooms would share the bath, if both rooms were rented at the same time.There is also a walk-through closet connecting the two rooms if two couples or a family stayed here together and rented both rooms at the same time. I have a third bedroom possibility upstairs, which I have named the Princess Palace. It was my daughter's bedroom. It is a very large room, with an antique double bed, but the guest would have to share the bathroom, the 5' claw-foot tub and the shower. There is an as-yet unfinished but usable covered deck off this bedroom. Guest AccessMy house comes with two outside cats, two indoor cats and two German Shepherd dogs, who are very friendly. My guests will rent rooms on the downstairs floor. The bedrooms on this floor have a mostly private bath down the hall, and access to my kitchen, my dining room, my living room and, weather/season permitting, my yard. I also have a shower upstairs which guests can use if they do not wish to use the claw-foot tub with hand held shower in the downstairs bathroom. The guests would be welcome to use the washer and dryer when they are not in use by me. Interaction with GuestsI work, so the guest would be on his or her own for meals. There is a terrific grocery store about a quarter mile away, with many options. Outside of my work time, I am available for any level of interaction my guests would like. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is one of only a handful of historic districts in the state of Utah. However, our district is only one street long, and it is a busy street. We have suffered the fate of many historic areas, in that we are between the small downtown Farmington business district and the new development on the west side of town, and we are close to the freeway and the train station, which is both a good and a not-so-good feature, because access is easy and public transportation is available. The rooms for guests have good windows and are quiet. Getting AroundAs said, my house is close to the new shopping area, and the train station, and also to the freeway. Most areas of the Wasatch Front are an easy drive from Farmington. Other Things to NoteThere is a terrific grocery store about a quarter mile away, and a lovely shopping development with restaurants and a movie theater about a third of a mile away. There is a train station that runs from Ogden to Salt Lake in the same development. My house is in a small community up next to the foothills of the Wasatch Front. We are half-way between the two cities of Ogden and Salt Lake, and we are midway between the ski resorts that are east of both Ogden and Salt Lake. My house is an easy walking distance from Lagoon, the only amusement park between Colorado and California. Farmington Canyon is beautiful, and is close. Farmington Peak is at 9,000 feet. There are hiking and biking trails within .25-1 mile away, although the house is close to the freeway. I am about 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, 25 minutes from downtown Ogden, and 25 minutes from the airport.

Major grocery stores near-by, movie houses and shopping mall. Perfect for family, friends group or solo travelers. SLC International is 25 minutes, Park City ski resorts 50 minutes. Light Rail near by to SLC and U of U. The NeighborhoodHome Show Winner in 1988, is in a quiet area and central to theaters, shopping, easy freeway access. Close to major Universities, (Utes, Wild Cats, Aggies and Cougars). All are welcome, though not likely at the same time. We are PAC 12 Alums from OSU. Go Beavers. Getting AroundYou will want to rent a car for your convenience. Our hill side neighborhood is a half mile to superstores and public transportation. Other Things to NoteWe first welcomed guests into our home for the 2002 Olympic Games. These guests became friends for life and we have treasured our travelers relationship, visiting them in their home towns.

Guest AccessBedroom and bathroom. You also have access to the washer, dryer, and kitchen in my home. There is also a pool in the summer. You can store your skis in the garage. Interaction with GuestsI'm usually busy with work, kids, and skiing at Snowbasin, so you will have your privacy. But I do enjoy a friendly conversation with outgoing guests and I welcome meeting people from other cultures. The kitchen is shared so if you use the kitchen I will probably say hello to you there. The NeighborhoodUpscale shopping and dining at Station Park, which includes Victoria's Secret, Banana Republic, Lululemon, and Starbucks, is within walking distance. Getting AroundThe Frontrunner train is within walking distance. Other Things to NotePlease note there is a black Labrador retriever dog who lives on the 1st floor. He is friendly but if you're allergic to dogs then this is not the place for you. The beds are in a bunk bed configuration with the full (double) bed on bottom and the twin bed on top.

The SpaceThe townhouse is very well kept. Virtually new. Adjacent to the living room there is a balcony with a few seats overlooking the Wasatch Front mountains. When arriving, you can park in one of the Visitors Parking Spots in front of the house crosing the road or at the end of the cudesac, by the mail boxes. Guest AccessBeside to the private bedroom and bathroom, you have free access to the kitchen (and all the appliences there), living room, dinning room, front balcony, and washer/dryer. Interaction with GuestsWhen not at work, I will help get you acclimated, show you around if you need help, advise on restaurants/coffees/Salt Lake destinations, etc. The NeighborhoodFarmington is a hip and happening place! Lagoon literally in front, great restaurants, coffeee shops, movie teathers and shopping at the new Station Park Mall. There are several mountain trails to explore nearby. Getting AroundThe Front runner (train) stops at the Station Park. It connects to Salt Lake City and Ogden. Also,there are buses running on Main Street (few blocks away). If you like biking, there is a bike trail nearby that connects with the Salt Lake and Ogden area. Other Things to NoteThis is a very safe neighborhood: One of the best quality-life cities on the country.

This beautiful, secluded 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment is located in the middle of all of Utah's amazing ski resorts on our 1.5 acre property. Ski resorts to the north such as Snow Basin, Powder Mountain and Wolf Creek are within 25-35 minutes. Ski resorts to the south east such as Deer Valley, Park City, Alta, Snowbird, etc... are within 45 minutes. Downtown Salt Lake Christmas shopping at City Creek and Christmas lights at Temple Square are a short 20 minute drive away and the newly opened Farmington Station (Station Park) with shops such as H&M, Nordstrom Rack, Gap, Forever 21, Lululemon and many more are all with 5 minutes. Station Park also has a new Cinemark and many great restaurants and is also a main Trax location where you can leave you car and ride into downtown Salt Lake City. The apartment is secluded and located on our 1.5 acre property surrounded by beautiful pines and a year round creek. Easy freeway access to both 1-15 and Highway 89.

Fully furnished basement apt. & kitchen. Free: Wi-Fi, washer & dryer. Excellent mattress, amenities, and location. Built in 2012 in a very efficient way. Lots of storage. Big walk in closet. Cannot have a criminal record or bring any pets. "Great place that is clean and well maintained. Any issues (there weren't many, just a couple of common, minor things) were always fixed immediately. The owners are great people who make sure tenants are always tended to and they are easy to work with. The business is very organized to ensure no tenants' needs slip though the cracks. My wife and I would stay here again in a heart beat, and highly recommend it to anyone else who has the opportunity to stay here as well.
