The SpaceOur home is in a beautiful older neighborhood at the base of the majestic Wasatch Range. It is also just five minutes away from downtown Ogden where wonderful restaurants and quaint shops await on historic 25th Street. Guest AccessYou will be a five-minute walk away from three trailheads, 30 minutes away from Snowbasin ski resort, and 45 minutes away from the airport or Salt Lake City. Interaction with GuestsWe like to greet our guests, and we offer to cook breakfast. If our guests don't want the interaction, we put out a nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood has a wonderful array of interesting homes. It's a lovely and safe place to walk around. Getting AroundUTA buses come a few blocks away. We are happy to pick up or drop off at the FrontRunner station. Other Things to NoteThere's room in the suite to put an inflatable queen-sized mattress if you want to bring the kids.

The SpaceThis beautiful 3 level home, situated at the base of the Wasatch mountains is perfect for families interested in all the fun and activities Ogden and the surrounding areas can enjoy. The top floor has private master bedroom with queen (real) bed and a 2nd bedroom with a full (real) bed. A full bathroom is on this floor, which serves both bedrooms. Main floor has the open concept kitchen and main living space. Basement has an ensuite, with secondary living room, laundry and a private bedroom with full bed and private bath. Each real bed has tempurpedic comfort for easy sleeping. Living and TV rooms each have a pull out sofa bed. Linens are provided for all beds and sofa beds. Newly renovated kitchen has beautiful oak kitchen counters and ceramic, mosaic tile with beautiful oak cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bake ware and more stuff than you'll likely ever need. However, if skiing and a quick bite is your cup of tea, fast food central is all along 12th Street right up to the mountain. Carl’s Jr (dangerously across the street), Arby’s, Burger King, McDonalds, etc. Or if you want to shop to cook, there’s a Walmart just about 4 blocks around the corner or a Winco foods even closer (but they don’t take credit cards). Ogden has a sweet, old town shopping area on 24th St., great for meandering and catching a few dining options. Easy and free parking at Union Station and across the street, you’re there. Or, certainly, there is parking on the street. Zip zip zip, JUST 12 MILES! up the road and you are at Snow Basin where they held the winter Olympics! Zip zip zip, the same road up, you can easily reach Powder Mountain or Wolf Canyon to ski to your hearts delight. This quiet, corner unit condo is equipped to safely secure your ski gear on a private deck. Satellite TV with HBO and Showtime will be available for your enjoyment. WIFI is also available from which you'll enjoy the WIFI enabled TV's in the living room and master bedroom. Sorry, absolutely no smoking and pets are okay, pending number(s), size(s) and breed(s). Kitchen and 2 baths are stocked w/basics with grocery stores easily accessible. Private backyard is great for yard games or lounging by the fire pit. Cross country skiing at the North Fork Park in the Ogden Valley. The NeighborhoodThe Neighborhood: The Eccles Historic District is one of two historic districts in Ogden. The neighborhood has many examples of Prairie Style and Arts and Crafts homes on Jackson Ave, Van Buren Ave and especially on Eccles Ave - directly behind our house. It is enjoyable to walk around and gaze at these architectural gems. Local Cafe within Walking Distance: Kaffe Mercantile is a wonderful, locally-owned coffee shop on 26th St, just east of Harrison Blvd. In addition to good, locally roasted coffee, the cafe has tasty breakfast sandwiches, quiche and pastries. Trails for Hiking, Running or Mountain Biking: Accessing the 100+ miles of hiking, running and biking trails in the mountains above Ogden couldn't be easier. There are multiple trail heads about 1 mile east of the house. The nearest trail head is at the end of 27th Street. You can either walk through the east bench neighborhood or drive and park at the end of 27th Street. Cross County Skiing at Mt. Ogden Golf Course: In the winter, the Mt. Ogden Golf Course is a convenient and scenic place for some fun cross country exploring. Less than 1 mile from the house, you can be on your skis in minutes and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Ogden and the rest of the northern Wasatch Range. Getting AroundLocation: The house is located 45 minutes from Salt Lake International Airport and 1 hour from Park City. Driving Downtown: Driving downtown takes 5 minutes. Take 25th St west (away from the mountains) and within 1 mile, you will be downtown. Downtown centers around 25th St. There are lots of shops, cafes, yoga studios and bars. Transit to Downtown: The 603 bus is less than 1 block from the house, and connects directly to downtown Ogden. Walking to Downtown or the Mountain Trails: You are 1 mile from downtown Ogden and 1 mile from the mountain trails. Downtown centers around 25th Street. Other Things to NoteBoard games: Scrabble, Cranium and playing cards are in the beige chest in the dining room. Back yard and patio: the back yard is a great place for morning and evening relaxation in the summer. A great place for kids to safely run around! The SpaceVery cozy little 2 bedroom, 1 full bath home that can sleep up to 6 people. Built in 1928, this place has old style charm with all the modern amenities (dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.). You can easily access trails for hiking, running or x-c skiing; close to downtown dining and entertainment (5 minute drive) and choice of 2 great local coffee shops within walking distance. Located on Ogden's exclusive East Bench, the house is situated in an attractive, safe neighborhood. Whether you're here for work, visiting family, or just to play, this is the space and place! Guest AccessMain house and carport. I often stay in garage/apartment when I have my home rented to guests. Interaction with GuestsAs much as they would like, I'm happy to share info. on recreational opportunities, good places to eat, shop, etc. The NeighborhoodLocated just below the mouth of Taylor Canyon, you'll find this part of the East Bench to be very quiet, safe, and easy to navigate. My house is on the edge of "knob hill" where some of the nicest homes in Ogden are located. Historic 25th St in downtown Ogden (about 1 1/2 miles away) has great restaurants and entertainment. Cafe Mercantile located on 26th St is a pleasant, short (5 block) walk from the house and serves excellent coffee and light meals. Getting AroundBus service is nearby (3 blocks) to access commuter rail to Salt Lake City and the airport. Other Things to NoteSince this is my primary residence, I will not be able to accommodate guests for stays longer than 4 weeks until May, 2016. If you're interested in longer term stays for next summer, please let me know.

If you are here for the Utah trails, we live on the side of the mountain and are a few short blocks from a trail entrance. If you're here for the Utah snow, we are RIGHT at the mouth of the Ogden Canyon. Our house has easy access to all the major ski resorts and mountain trails! We also invite our guests to use our kitchen which is on the main level of our home. The main space of our basement has a living area with a 32" tv (Comcast cable), recliner chair, and a double-reclining love seat. The stereo system has an auxiliary cord for you to plug-in your iPhone and listen to tunes, if you'd like. We also have a wine fridge with bottled water, a few snacks, and a Keurig coffee maker for you to enjoy. The other half of the main area has a comfy pillowtop full bed with new bedding. Historic Ogden on 25th street, just a few blocks and minute down the road, has a quaint, old town feel with local shopping and restaurants, Great for meandering and catching a few dining options with Zagat star restaurants or family-owned dining. Easy and free parking at Union Station and across the street, you’re there. Or, certainly, there is parking is available on 25th Street but can be a little congested during ski season. However, if skiing and a quick bite is your cup of tea, 'fast food central' is all along 12th Street right up to the mountain: iHop around the corner, Carl’s Jr., Panda Express, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Arby’s, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds, etc. Other breakfast restaurants are also on 12th (i.e. Village Inn) right on your way to ski country! Or if you want to shop to shop your own stuff, there’s a Walmart just about 4 blocks around the corner or a Winco foods even closer (note: they don’t take credit cards). Zip zip zip, JUST 12 MILES! up the road and you are at Snow Basin where they held the winter Olympics! Zip zip zip, the same road up, you can easily reach Powder Mountain or family-friendly Wolf Canyon to ski to your hearts delight. This is a beautiful and comfortable ranch condo, well-situated near historic Ogden to 12th Avenue, straight up to Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. Close to biking and hiking trails, Ogden River, Pineview Reservoir and whatever interests may bring you to the area. Updated kitchen with beautiful oak kitchen counters and glass tile with beautiful oak cabinets and full size appliances. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, bake ware and more stuff than you'll likely ever need. The master bedroom with an full, ensuite bath has a queen bed with comfy tempurpedic mattress. New toilet, sink and floors. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a full bed, also with a comfy tempurpedic mattresses. Full bath for the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms to share, with updated toilet, sink and floors as well. Bedding is provided for guests using the sofabed. The living room also has a sofabed that opens to a TwinX sofa, which fits up to a 5'6" person comfortably. Would not recommend for heavy set individuals however. Extra bedding is available for this bed, plus will fit an air mattress, if you decide to bring one. This condo has a central air and heat, plus an attached garage, which is great for winter conditions, and also for summertime to store camping, biking or any gear you want safely stored. Historic Ogden on 25th street, just a few blocks and minute down the road, has a quaint, old town feel with local shopping and restaurants, Great for meandering and catching a few dining options with Zagat star restaurants or family-owned dining. Easy and free parking at Union Station and across the street, you’re there. Or, certainly, there is parking is available on 25th Street but can be a little congested during ski season. However, if skiing and a quick bite is your cup of tea, 'fast food central' is all along 12th Street right up to the mountain: iHop around the corner, Carl’s Jr., Panda Express, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Arby’s, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds, etc. Other breakfast restaurants are also on 12th (i.e. Village Inn) right on your way to ski country! Or if you want to shop to shop your own stuff, there’s a Walmart just about 4 blocks around the corner or a Winco foods even closer (note: they don’t take credit cards). Zip zip zip, JUST 12 MILES! up the road and you are at Snow Basin where they held the winter Olympics! Zip zip zip, the same road up, you can easily reach Powder Mountain or family-friendly Wolf Canyon to ski to your hearts delight. Just a minute from the base of the mountain and you'll be headed up to enjoy all the powder your legs can endur. This corner unit condo is equipped to safely secure your ski gear on a private deck. WIFI enabled TV's in the living room and master bedroom for you to enjoy pre-paid streaming Neflix and HuluPlus for your enjoyment. Digital cable with HBO is also available in the living room along with a DVD player. Sorry, absolutely no smoking and pet-friendly, but please ask first. Thanks. Guest AccessYou will have full use of the laundry room, and kitchen. Happy to provide use of all appliances, spices, and fridge. The living room and bedroom have a TV with Amazon Prime and ready to play DVD's. The house is a smoke free environment, but we have a covered back patio available if you are a smoker. The garage is kept at 50 degrees, and is attached to the house and secured. We have a rack to hang your equipment so it can dry out and the laundry room can also be used to hang and dry out your boots, coat and such. Interaction with GuestsWe also enjoy the snow and are from the area, so we are happy to provide helpful insight to the ski resorts, directions, local shopping and restaurants, golf courses, amusement parks, nightlife and ect. Getting AroundWe are close to the freeway I-15 and 10 min from the mountains. Easy access to anywhere Other Things to NoteWe do have a strictly indoor cat, but she is not aloud in the guest bedroom. She does wander freely throughout the rest of the house, but she is calm and keeps to herself. We do have another bedroom available for a small fee with a twin size bed, but the dates need to be coordinated first.

                The SpaceYou have the large master bedroom. The mattress and box-springs are new. The walk in closet is available to you. Half of it is storage, the other half is yours. The room is simplistic and meets the needs of a quiet place to sleep. Guest AccessThe kitchen is full sized and has all the basic necessities. You are welcome to use them all. I'm okay if you need to use an egg or make yourself an extra cup of coffee, but if you need a whole dozen or drink 6 cups a day, I will ask that you replace what you use. The laundry room has a top load washer and full sized dryer. There is soap available. I'm not a big believer in fabric softener so if you need that, we can run to the store. The back patio is a bit chilly this time of year, but if you love the great outdoors, it has a gorgeous view. Interaction with GuestsI work and commute, so my schedule is busy. With enough planning, I may be able to give you a ride here and there. I am home on the weekends and more available to help you out. Weekdays, I will set breakfast out for you. Yogurt, instant oatmeal, and coffee or tea. I have an AeroPress for the coffee maker. I like the idea of getting to know my guests. I love meeting new people and learning more about your culture, habitat, and in general, the oddness that makes us all unique. The NeighborhoodThe Ogden Botanical Gardens is a short 5 minute walk from the house. This provides direct access to over 250 miles of trails. Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley are less than a 30 minute drive. Downtown Ogden is less than 2 miles. The Front Climbing gym is less than 2 miles from here. There are several yoga studios including a Bikram studio. Restaurants are growing in Ogden like wildfire. Slackwater is the cool place to go - artisan pizza and over 150 beers. Getting AroundIf you fly in and do not want to rent a car, you can access (URL HIDDEN) and catch the green train to the frontrunner. Take the Frontrunner north to Ogden Station. You can take a cab or uber from there or if we make prior arrangements, I can pick you up. It's about 2 miles from my front door. There is a bus stop west of my drive by about 150 feet or so on Monroe. There is also a bus stop about 1/2 mile east of my drive on Harrison. (URL HIDDEN) provides buses to the ski resorts. The stops are less than 1 mile from the townhouse. Near the bus stop on Harrison is a ski rental shop. Again, about a 1/2 mile away. There are 5 bicycle shops in town. All do rentals, to include Fat Tires. Other Things to NoteI have two parking spaces, one for me, one for you. I have two bicycles. You can borrow mine for transport or there are rentals available. And yes, you can park inside the house. I am a licensed massage therapist and can provide relaxing or sports massage for $60 per person, per hour. I have two associates that work with me in the home. I am also a certified yoga teacher. I have taught over 10,000 people. If you want a private lesson, the cost is $20 for 45 minutes.
