The SpaceThis space is completely private once inside the trailer. Guests and hosts will occasionally share the large yard. Grocery store one quarter mile away, many restaurants within a one-mile radius. Park with playground, tennis court, basketball standard and pavilion just a five-minute walk down the street. Getting AroundUtah Transit Authority has a Trax light rail station one-half mile away which can transport persons to library, historic Gardner Village, downtown Salt Lake City and three additional counties. The SpaceThis space is away from the crowded downtown area. The house sits on one full acre, giving it a very open, spacious feel. The interior is newly refurbished. The neighboring properties are also large-- reminiscent of this area's rural past. This property is within reach of several nearby useful areas: easy access to all forms of shopping and to the nationally-acknowledged above-ground commuter system (TRAX). Also a quick drive to the airport, though the TRAX now goes there, too. Guest AccessGuests have access to all that is described above. As for the space within the walls, the carpet and paint are new, the furnishings are clean and comfortable. Guests also have their own private laundry room. Kitchen has pots and pans, utensils, stove/oven, large refrigerator, and several counter appliances. Pop Up Twin Trundle Bed Interaction with GuestsInteractions with guests are only as guests need interaction. Otherwise, the hosts greet the guests on arrival, give them a tour of the place, and then leave them entirely alone until the last day when the key must be handed back. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is safe. Hosts often take walks during the quiet nights. All types of stores are close by. Getting AroundThe efficient TRAX system is just less than a mile from here. Other Things to NoteI am a native Spanish speaker and am able to communicate with other Spanish speakers easily.

The NeighborhoodWe live in a rural-like neighborhood. Our neighbors are great, friendly people. You can see Salt Lake City Lights and mountains from our second story windows. We live close to shopping, movie theater and great restaurants in Jordan Landing. We are withing walking distance to Ron Wood Memorial Park and splash pad. Minutes to the public transit system which will take you to just about anywhere. It's a 25 minute drive to the airport. You can also use Trax, our public light rail system. Some favorites downtown are Temple Square and the newer City Creek shopping destination. Getting AroundWe live 3 miles from Trax ( Utah's public transit light rail). - All day unlimited Bus/Light Rail pass is $6. - Uber by far is the cheapest ride share company. -Close to freeways. The beautiful Salt Lake Valley has an extensive light rail system called Trax, the station is a five minute drive away. This is a great way to visit many of the cities and experience Salt Lake. Check out food network's show diners drive-ins, n dives hosted by Guy Fieri to check out some places he's visited here. We have lived here in the Salt Lake Valley for several years and there are lots of fun venues and possibilities.

The SpaceMy space truly has the feel of a traditional Utah rambler style home. Entry is through the front door into a common shared front room and updated kitchen, you will have full use of the downstairs (except the one bedroom I use for crafting, of which I will not use during your stay). There is a queen bed that sleeps two in the private downstairs bedroom and a large couch in the downstairs living room that can accommodate a third person if needed. Free use of washer/dryer, tv with Directv, wireless wifi, kitchen, patio/deck, BBQ, hot tub, and some gym equipment. I live in the house as well in an upstairs bedroom but will respect your privacy when you are here. If you use the kitchen, I ask that you clean up after yourself and don't leave dirty dishes in the sink or on the counter. I live in the house in an upstairs bedroom, but will respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodMy home is located in a quiet neighborhood with super nice neighbors always willing to lend a hand. Getting AroundThere are nearby bus stops and trains that can take you throughout the Salt Lake valley including the Salt Lake International Airport. 15 minutes to downtown Salt Lake City, 20 minutes to mountains for Brighton/Snowbird/Alta ski resorts, 45 minutes to Park City ski resort, 10 minutes to Olympic Ice Oval. Other Things to NoteI do have one elderly female cat who is quiet and friendly. She has a difficult time getting around these days, so she usually spends her time in my bedroom. There are also two neighborhood cats that seem to have adopted me as their owner, so they often come inside and are very friendly. I also have a small parrot that stays in his cage in my bedroom. He likes attention and can occasionally get loud when he hears something or wants attention. He usually goes goes to bed when the sun goes down, but don't be surprised to hear him tell you "hi Fred", "go to bed" or "too loud" if you wake him up lol. The city has an ordinance that prohibits parking on the street when it is snowing, so you can park on the right side of the driveway as you pull in.

The SpacePlease read all the descriptions before booking, it is in the wilderness and may not be for everybody. Not on the electric grid, does not have indoor plumbing....This is a small cabin with 2 loft areas that are large enough for a King bed and some storage or sitting area. It will have off grid amenities, solar power, butane cook tops as well as a BBQ. toilet currently is a portable flushable camp type toilet. Will either be composting or other type of off grid commode. This is in stage 1 and will be having continual upgrades through the summer. THERE IS A SECOND CABIN ALSO AVAILABLE FOR EXTRA GUESTS CURRENTLY, IN NEAR FUTURE WILL RENT AS COMPLETE UNIT This is on 5 acres with wildlife, amazing birds, lots of rabbits, some deer, lizards.....etc. Yes this is outdoors, expect to see bugs and spiders, horse flies, this may not be for you...... Below the ridge is state owned public primitive camping areas with ATV's allowed also some beach area and some amazing rock formations and boulders. Bringing in RV's boats, trailers, campers is allowed but no dump. There are RV dumps in the 5 miles away town of Duchesne. Guest AccessIf you go to the beach area or the other campground areas of Starvation you will need to get a day pass at either the ranger station next to the Duchesne High School, or the Starvation State campground park entrance. As for the cabins There will either be a code for the door or a hidden key. If you want to rent both cabins it can be arranged pending what is booked. Property to the West is privately owned and no trespassing allowed, someone has a home and is living there. The surrounding land bordering the property is not to be used for ATV's but there is ample trails further out in the miles an miles of area out here. USE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU WANT TO BOULDER DOWN THE RIDGE ONTO THE LAND NEXT TO THE RESERVOIR. You can also access it by taking the road to Knight Hollow and access the direct land below by foot. Interaction with GuestsI live in West Jordan Utah 2 hours away, will be available by phone or text Getting AroundThere is no public transportation to this location. You can rent ATV vehicles, boats, etc. You will need to get a day pass at the rangers station or the entrance area to the State campground Park. Other Things to NoteChildren are welcome but this is wilderness area, with creatures, cactuses, rocks and steep ridges. PLEASE KEEP CHILDREN CLOSELY SUPERVISED!! Much like you would when playing in the ocean or a swimming pool!

The SpaceWe are close to Jordan Landing which has a Sam's Club, Walmart, Movie theater and about two dozen other restaurants and retail shops. We try to keep things clean and orderly. We have a beagle which mostly stays in the backyard or kitchen. He's loud but just wants to be pet. Overall it's a pretty quiet house. I live here with my wife and my sister Guest AccessKitchen, living room, backyard Getting AroundThe trax light rail is a 10 minute walk and connects you to the entire salt lake valley. It is about a 40 minute ride to downtown and is extremely convenient for attending events. The major highways are pretty close too.

The SpaceThis is a cozy house that has 4 levels with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We have 2 living rooms with cable, Apple TV, Netflix and Hulu. The front door opens on the main floor has a large open concept living and kitchen area with an island. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs: the master and the 'baby room' that includes a twin bed and a crib. The first lower floor has a living room with a TV over the gas fireplace, game table, laundry room and half bath. There is plenty of room for the air mattress here. The final two rooms are downstairs along with the 2nd full bathroom. There is also a back porch and large fully fenced backyard. Guest AccessPlease feel free to utilize the entire house. This includes our fridge, pots and pans, washer and dryer, fireplace, anything else within reason. We have a personal bar and we ask that you replace any liquor you drink. Interaction with GuestsWe love Airbnb and hosting guests. However, we have just had a baby and now typically only rent out our house while we are our of town. The separate guest entrance is accessed with a keypad lock. Each group/guest will receive a unique passcode for use. Guests are free to use the basketball court but are asked not to jump on the trampolines (for your own safety). For the most part, we prefer to leave the guests the freedom to determine the level of interaction, if any. If you'd rather keep to yourself, just let us know at booking. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is typical for the locale with quiet streets in a safe area. Getting AroundWe're located 2 miles from the 9000 South interchange with I-15. From there you're easily off to whatever destination needed. If you don't have a car, a $5 Uber can get you to the TRAX station (lightrail public transit by UTA) in front of Historic Gardner. Walking (1 mile along the Jordan River Parkway) to the TRAX station is an option as well. TRAX is a good option to get to downtown Salt Lake in 30 minutes for $2.50. Speaking of the Jordan River Parkway, a trail-head to the 40-mile, paved public trail system for runners and cyclists is across the street from this listing for anyone needing a great place to run while on the road. Other Things to NoteWe live above this listing's floor space so the typical sounds may be present at times. The floor joists were heavily insulated at construction and there is no stone/tile flooring above your space. Because of offset custody schedules, we could have either 4 or 2 or 0 children at home while you're here. Please know every effort will be made to guarantee your peaceful enjoyment, whatever the case. If your booking for more than 4 guests, let us know as soon as possible and we'll see if we can accommodate use of an additional bathroom at the top of the stairs.

The SpaceThe inside scoop is that I am saving this Townhome for my mother. She will move to town in about six months so I want it to be available for her. In the meantime, I want some nice warm space with a full kitchen, washer/dryer etc. to be available to people for less than a hotel room. I presume that you are the type that likes to camp or travels with an air mattress etc. :-) My office is super close and I can make some chairs etc. available on request. Air Mattress too. The place will be spotless. The carpets are freshly cleaned and will be vacuumed. There will be toilet paper and shower curtains etc. Just let me know what I can do to make this work for you.     Modern townhome with high ceilings and natural light on a quiet street. One car garage, entire living area is upstairs. 900+ feet, two bed, two bath. Currently unfurnished with a price commensurate with that fact. There's a kids play park on the street, walking distance to restaurants etc. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, balcony etc. This is currently a total blank slate - empty. Will populate it with beds, tv, a couch etc. shortly.
