There are two cozy and rustic cabins offered at this glamping site in upstate New York on the coast of Lake Champlain. Guests can rent cabins individually or together for a larger group.The original cabin: This cabin, which was remodeled in 2012, has one bedroom and one bathroom. The cabin is equipped with all new appliances, two flat-screen LCD TV sets, a DVD player, an iPod dock, and Wi-Fi. There is heating, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan, which keeps glampers cool and comfortable in the warmer months, and cozy when the weather is cooler. The cabin includes a private patio with a table, four chairs, and a gas grill — perfect for glampers who wish to cook a BBQ style meal in the evening. There is a queen-sized mattress and a hide-a-bed, which means the cabin can accommodate between three and four people. It is ideal for two adults and two children, or three adults.The boathouse cabin: This cabin was actually a real boathouse until the 1970's. It is a rustic getaway made up of two bedrooms. There is a queen-sized bed in one bedroom with a view of the lake, and a full-sized bed in the other bedroom. There is also a double-sized hide-a-bed, meaning this cabin accommodates up to six people. Within this cabin, there are also two LCD TV sets, an iPod dock, Wi-Fi, heating, air conditioning, and two ceiling fans. There is even a full private bathroom with a large shower. Additionally, glampers will enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen and a large covered porch that has a lovely table, eight chairs, a children’s picnic table, and a separate gardened patio with a gas grill. Glampers can therefore choose to cook a traditional meal, or go family style with a outdoor cook-out. There is a lovely view of the lake from the master bedroom, and guests have access to the beach, a fire pit, and a dock.

The Space3 bedroom Cottage with large screened in porch across the street from 150 ft. of pebble beach lake frontage. Porch contains seating for 6-12 with chairs and a large wooden picnic table. Porch faces the broad lake providing spectacular western view sunsets. Living room has feather sofa and love seat that are large enough to accommodate 2 more sleeping guests. 22in. TV is connected to Direct TV and has attached DVD player. 1 King bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 double bed with ceiling fans and floor fans for every room. Kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and table that seats 6. Bathroom has shower/tub combo. and has stacking washer and dryer. Small office off kitchen for storage of linens. Contains card table with 4 chairs and foldable beach chairs. Side porch contains the gas grill and room for beach toys/fishing supplies. Large yard has plenty of room for parking and yard games. Portable fire pit in the yard next to front screened porch. Landscaped small goldfish pond with fountain in front of large screened porch. Pebble beach and 40 ft. dock located across the street down 14 steps. Water shoes recommended for walk-in beach. 14ft. aluminum fishing boat with oars on beach near 40 ft. dock with aluminum ladder. Mooring also available if you have a boat to moor. Non-smoking guests only. You must bring your own drinking water, linens, towels, soap for dishwasher and laundry. No internet at the cottage, but Internet Cafe 3 miles away. 1 hour from Montreal and 1 hour from Burlington Vt. Available by the week from June through September. Off season rates for part of June and part of September. The SpaceCheck-in/out times may vary: if you need a certain check-in time – let us know what time exactly you will arrive and we will try to accommodate. Weekends: 11am - midnight. Weekdays: 6pm-10pm. Located on the lake, the house has access to a private beach with 2 adirondack chairs. You have to cross the road to get to the beach. We have Harborside Harvest Market and Irving gas station next door. The market has the best freshly cut steaks in the area! They also have deli, coffee, groceries, and they make their own fudge. Our large backyard is great for camping, grilling, a volleyball or badminton game. Watch beautiful sunsets from our front porch or from the beach, fish or have a bonfire. Your bedroom is located on the second floor, be ready to use steep stairs. In addition to a queen bed we have a toddler bed (for up to 5 years old) and a king size mattress that is currently on the floor. The shared shower/bathroom is located on the second floor. We have half bathroom on the first floor as well. We have 2 friendly indoor cats. Please don't let them outside. We don't have wifi. The NeighborhoodThe most beautiful, natural white sand beach is just 7 min away by car or 20 min by bike! It's Alburg Dunes state park, $3 entry fee. It's a relaxed rural/suburban neighborhood. People like to fish, bike, boat, jet-ski, swim and BBQ. We are located on Rt. 2, so on a good summer weekend it may get very lively around. On weekends there are lots of bikers, motorcyclists passing by, jet-skis etc. Get your groceries next door! Best steaks in the area! Our next door good neighbor is Papa Pete Snack Bar, and New England Power Boat Marina with free wifi. Getting AroundNo public transportation. By car: * 7 minutes to North Hero Welcome, and North Hero Inn & Restaurant (try their lobster rolls on the pier, and make a dinner reservation) * 7 minutes to Alburg Dunes State Park - white sand beach * 10 minutes to Isle La Motte make sure to visit St. Anne Shrine - 1666 first settlement * 45 min to Burlington * 75 minutes to Montreal * 40 minutes to Plattsburgh Other Things to NotePlease make dinner plans in advance! It's a rural area and we have 3 good restaurants nearby that close 9-10pm depending on last order, so make your reservations in advance. North Hero Inn & Restaurant (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), Shore Acres (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Ransom Bay ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). You have to cross the road to go to our beach. The SpaceOur Vermont farmhouse was built in the late 1700's and updated in recent years. We kept the rustic integrity of the original structure, but opened it up and added some modern conveniences. Open, rambling floor plan allows plenty of space and privacy. The highlight is a large veranda that has a great view of Lake Champlain. The "Boathouse" has large windows that open to create an airy screened porch-like room directly on the shore. There is also a cozy living room for games and reading. The master bedroom is good-sized, overlooks the lake and has an antique queen size bed. Bedroom two and bedroom three are small and one has a double bed while other has two singles. There is also a daybed on first floor. We have a beautiful south-facing yard with a deck (including gas grill), organic herb and vegetable garden that leads down to the lake where there is a 60 ft. dock. There are no direct neighbours. Guest AccessA flat rock shore provides great swimming and the ability to dock a boat. Kayak, canoe, windsurfer, paddleboat, sailboat, bikes, and motorboat on premise and included. There are hiking trails and nature walks. This is a turnkey rental for families with kids - everything is included for them to stay occupied outdoors for weeks! Isle La Motte is also convenient to Burlington, Palmer's Beach, Point aux Roches, Shelburne, Montpellier, Stowe, Jay Peak, Smuggler's Notch and Montreal, Qc, with its nightlife, restaurants, shopping, museums, yoga classes and entertainment. The NeighborhoodIsle La Motte, Vermont, is an historic island (joined by a causeway at its northern tip) with an amazing history. We are at the southernmost tip of the island and there is very little traffic. The island is the northernmost of the Champlain Islands and it is the oldest known fossilized coral reef in the world. There is a fossil preserve, tea garden, and gallery next door, long un-interupted nature trails and a large apple orchard down the road. Sandy beaches and state parks are nearby and reachable by car or motorboat. Getting AroundCar, horse, bike, or boat. Other Things to NoteWe love living on spectacular Lake Champlain, and enjoy the beautiful water views and the sounds of lapping water. The house can accommodate up to 12 guests with a variety of configurations - perfect for active families with teens or tweens. 2 full bedrooms, two lofts and two day beds and pullout couch in finished walkout basement. The lake front is right outside the basement doors an easily accessed and monitored. There is a large dock with 6 foot wide sections, two large platforms and a table and chairs. It is ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming. The basement/patio level has a pull out couch (sleeps 2), large screen TV, DVD player and large sliding doors directly onto the patio. There are also two daybeds which are perfect for lounging and relaxing. The washer/dryer can also be found on the basement level. The first floor has an open floor plan with large sliding glass doors which open onto a deck above the patio. The kitchen has a gas range, stainless refrigerator and farmhouse sink. The gas fireplace, flat screen TV and comfortable couches make this a perfect place to unwind. The kitchen table can comfortably seat 6 and there is also seating at the breakfast bar. The full bathroom on this floor has a large shower. The second floor has a huge seating area with a sectional couch, flat screen TV and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, a set of twin bunk beds and a toddler bed. This bedroom can sleep 2 adults and 2-3 children comfortably. There is a closet and a larger dresser in this room. The second bedroom has a large closet and a double bed. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units in the windows. This floor also has a second bathroom with a toilet and sink. The third floor hosts two loft bedrooms. The first loft is accessed via a ladder from the seating area and has two twin beds. Located in the beautiful Monthy`s Bay Marina, 12 miles south of the U.S.- Canadian border and 8 miles north of Plattsburgh, New York. Monthy`s Marina location at the center of Monty Bay and offers open waters with gentle breezes, and a panoramic view of the surrounding New York and Vermont shorelines and mountains. The vessel has a double berth aft, a wide cockpit, two berths in the galley. The galley offers a small kitchen. You can have the whole boat to yourself dockside or share it with the skipper if you want to go out and spend the night in some beautiful spots of the lake (Valcour island, Malletts bay, ect...) Free parking is available. The area is quiet and rural, close to parks and wildlife.     The SpaceLakefront home situated directly on Lake Champlain. This house is on a sprawling 11 acres of land with a 340 foot private beach. The private dock facing west with the most incredible sunsets and the breathtaking views of the Adirondack Mountains will inspire you. There are 3 bedrooms with 1 complete bathroom. Its a charming and meticulously maintained home with lots of natural woodwork, wood beamed ceilings, lots of large windows with amazing views. The house also features a loft area. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need and has Wi-FI. Animals are welcome. Guest AccessYou have access entire home as well as your private dock sitting on a 140 feet. You also have access to your private waterfront with spectacular sunset. Interaction with GuestsWe have a full time property manager who will be there upon check-in and will be available 24 hours a day to assist you with everything you might need. The NeighborhoodIt is about 10 minutes from the Rouses Point border. Its a 5 minutes drive the Alburgh Golf Course and to St. Anne's Shrine and 3 excellent restaurants and 5 minutes drive from Alburgh Village. 25 minutes drive to Plattsburgh. Getting AroundWalking car or boat. You are welcome to bring your boat. The boat launch is on our road (1min drive) – West Shore Road. You can simply drive the trailer back to the driveway/garage Gas, Groceries are available at: Alburgh Village - State Liquor Store ( gin, vodka, etc. plus wine, beer, lottery tickets, a small sandwich shop, milk, chips, bread etc.), Mobil gas and an organic farm stand selling seasonal fruits and vegetables. It is a cash stand on the honor system. Across from the Village store is the historic center which sells maple syrup and has a cool history room with guns, artifacts and tales from the past on the village – good for kids. It also sells sweaters made locally and other Vermont items Crossroads Travel Center – same as above, but no hard liquor. Across from Crossroads is Dollar General. North Hero Harbourside Market This store is just across the bridge from Alburgh to North Hero – about a 5 minute drive from Cozy Cottage. They have gas, fishing permits ( important to know that if you fish on the lake you must have a permit !!), homemade fudge, fabulous fresh meat, brochettes, all kinds of prepared salads ( made on site), sandwiches made to order, including platters, homemade bread, buns, pies, wine, a deli section with bacon, eggs, vegetables, fruit and fantastic draft beer vats and they fill bottles for you with your choice of draft right on the spot – so fresh !! Right beside them is Pete’s. This is an outdoor bar-b-que restaurant. They make fresh burgers, fish, fries, Pulled pork, ribs and other goodies which you can eat on their picnic tables or take back home and you can order in advance for pickup. Further along in North Hero, there is Hero’s Welcome. They have typical food staples, including wine and also ice cream. They have an attached amazing store with all kinds of trinkets, towels, gadgets, dishes, souvenirs, puzzles, quilts and things from all over the world. Each year, the Owners travel far and wide to collect unique things and support local world villages. They also have gas. The drive is about 15 minutes. Both Champlain, New York ( a 20 minute drive) and St. Albans, Vermont ( a 25 minute drive) have a Price Chopper and Swanton, Vermont ( 8 miles before St. Albans) has a Hannaford’s, which is a higher quality grocery chain. They all sell beer and wine and have a pharmacy. There are also 2 open-air markets. One in Rouses Point, New York ( 15 minutes) which is open on Fridays from 3pm to 7 pm and Grand Isle, which is open Friday and Saturday – I will get you the schedule but it is mostly all day on both days. Things for kids: The Dunes Sand Beach. This is an extraordinary place. Calm waters, beautiful sand, picnic tables and it is a 5 minute drive from Cozy Cottage. This is a State site and is super clean and very family oriented. So people can pack up a picnic basket and head there for the day with their kids before coming home to make a bar-b-que and look at the Sunset from the dock. Isle La Motte – this is the island next to ours – the bridge is 2 minutes from Cozy Cottage. It is filled with history. There are summer concerts, history sites, St. Anne’s Shrine, apple picking at Hall Home Place, plus a café there that sells homemade pies, sandwiches, cider and cider tastings. Also, The Fisk Farm in Isle la Motte is famous – they have needlecraft, mandolins and all kinds of great things to see. Alburgh – bible class, libraries, painting classes, ,storytelling etc. Guests should look in the Islander weekly newspaper that will tell them what is available each week throughout the season. There is also a fabulous Jazz Festival in Grand Isle July 17th to July 20th – see Islander for details and tickets. There are sea plane rides available right here in Alburgh – a 5-7 minute drive away. Restaurants: Alburgh: Alburgh Golf Club – good food, fully licensed –open daily to the public ( golf is also open daily to the public – 18 holes). They have burgers, steaks, wraps, fries, fish and such and a wonderful view from the restaurant to the lake – they have a great wrap-around balcony with table service for eating outdoors. Our Cozy Cottage backs onto the golf course and it is a 2 minute drive to the course and the restaurant. Ransoms Inn – on route 2, just after the crossroad ( truckers route and rout(URL HIDDEN)minutes from Cozy Cottage. This is an historic brick house that is also an Inn. They have great steaks, great Italian food and a varying menu – fully licensed. Isle La Motte – Ruthcliffe Restaurant – this is a great restaurant a couple of miles over the bridge to Isle La Motte. it is family run and serves breakfast also during the summer from Tuesday to Sunday 8:30 to 10AM. It serves excellent food which varies each week – Italian, lobsters etc. It has a great outside deck and a wharf that you can dock to so you can come to the restaurant directly from your boat. Dining is from 5pm to 9pm nightly. Reservations are a must. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Address is Old Quarry Road, Isle La Motte, Vt(URL HIDDEN) It is chef and family owned. North Hero : 1) North Hero House – 25/20 minute drive. Excellent food. Dinner nightly, pub food, breakfast from 8 to 10 and their cousin is the Pier Bar, with fabulous lobster rolls and very casual on the wharf – the Pier is open from noon to 8pm. 2) Shore Acres restaurant. Amazing setting. Beautiful scenery on the lake. Excellent food. Open 7 days a week for dinn(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). They also have summer activities and some years, the liebensteiner horses perform there. 3) Two Heroes Grill and Tiki Bar. Across from Heroes Welcome. They have good food and an open Mic from 6-9 nightly every Wednesday. You can bring your own guitar or use theirs ! (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Pelots Point Rd. North Hero. There is a lot more. You can go to Ben and Jerry’s and take a tour of the ice cream factory or go to the Vermont Teddy Bear factory near Stowe Vermont and see how the Teddy Bears are made and purchase them. There are also tours of cheese factories, wineries and of course, shopping in both Plattsburgh New York ( 40 minutes’ drive) and Burlington Vermont ( 45 minutes’ drive) with all the big box stores. Other Things to NoteThis is a country, outdoor vacation home. There is wildlife all around and skunks and racoons are regular night visitors. If you are averse to the odd chipmunk running through an open door, this is probably not the vacation for you! Storms can blow up quickly over the lake. You must take caution while out on the water and listen to Coast Guard Marine radio for daily weather predictions. You also have access to your private waterfront with spectacular sunset. It is a cash stand on the honor system. Across from the Village store is the historic center which sells maple syrup and has a cool history room with guns, artifacts and tales from the past on the village – good for kids. It also sells sweaters made locally and other Vermont items Crossroads Travel Center – same as above, but no hard liquor. Across from Crossroads is Dollar General. North Hero Harbourside Market This store is just across the bridge from Alburgh to North Hero – about a 5 minute drive from Cozy Cottage. They have gas, fishing permits ( important to know that if you fish on the lake you must have a permit !!), homemade fudge, fabulous fresh meat, brochettes, all kinds of prepared salads ( made on site), sandwiches made to order, including platters, homemade bread, buns, pies, wine, a deli section with bacon, eggs, vegetables, fruit and fantastic draft beer vats and they fill bottles for you with your choice of draft right on the spot – so fresh !! Right beside them is Pete’s. This is an outdoor bar-b-que restaurant. They make fresh burgers, fish, fries, Pulled pork, ribs and other goodies which you can eat on their picnic tables or take back home and you can order in advance for pickup. Further along in North Hero, there is Hero’s Welcome. They have typical food staples, including wine and also ice cream. They have an attached amazing store with all kinds of trinkets, towels, gadgets, dishes, souvenirs, puzzles, quilts and things from all over the world. Each year, the Owners travel far and wide to collect unique things and support local world villages. They also have gas. The drive is about 15 minutes. Both Champlain, New York ( a 20 minute drive) and St. Albans, Vermont ( a 25 minute drive) have a Price Chopper and Swanton, Vermont ( 8 miles before St. Albans) has a Hannaford’s, which is a higher quality grocery chain. They all sell beer and wine and have a pharmacy. There are also 2 open-air markets. One in Rouses Point, New York ( 15 minutes) which is open on Fridays from 3pm to 7 pm and Grand Isle, which is open Friday and Saturday – I will get you the schedule but it is mostly all day on both days. Things for kids: The Dunes Sand Beach. This is an extraordinary place. Calm waters, beautiful sand, picnic tables and it is a 5 minute drive from Cozy Cottage. This is a State site and is super clean and very family oriented. So people can pack up a picnic basket and head there for the day with their kids before coming home to make a bar-b-que and look at the Sunset from the dock. Isle La Motte – this is the island next to ours – the bridge is 2 minutes from Cozy Cottage. It is filled with history. There are summer concerts, history sites, St. Anne’s Shrine, apple picking at Hall Home Place, plus a café there that sells homemade pies, sandwiches, cider and cider tastings. Also, The Fisk Farm in Isle la Motte is famous – they have needlecraft, mandolins and all kinds of great things to see. Alburgh – bible class, libraries, painting classes, ,storytelling etc. Guests should look in the Islander weekly newspaper that will tell them what is available each week throughout the season. There is also a fabulous Jazz Festival in Grand Isle July 17th to July 20th – see Islander for details and tickets. There are sea plane rides available right here in Alburgh – a 5-7 minute drive away. Restaurants: Alburgh: Alburgh Golf Club – good food, fully licensed –open daily to the public ( golf is also open daily to the public – 18 holes). They have burgers, steaks, wraps, fries, fish and such and a wonderful view from the restaurant to the lake – they have a great wrap-around balcony with table service for eating outdoors. Our Cozy Cottage backs onto the golf course and it is a 2 minute drive to the course and the restaurant. Ransoms Inn – on route 2, just after the crossroad This is an historic brick house that is also an Inn. They have great steaks, great Italian food and a varying menu – fully licensed. Isle La Motte – Ruthcliffe Restaurant – this is a great restaurant a couple of miles over the bridge to Isle La Motte. it is family run and serves breakfast also during the summer from Tuesday to Sunday 8:30 to 10AM. It serves excellent food which varies each week – Italian, lobsters etc. It has a great outside deck and a wharf that you can dock to so you can come to the restaurant directly from your boat. Dining is from 5pm to 9pm nightly. Reservations are a must. . Address is Old Quarry Road, Isle La Motte, Vt It is chef and family owned. North Hero : 1) North Hero House – 25/20 minute drive. Excellent food. Dinner nightly, pub food, breakfast from 8 to 10 and their cousin is the Pier Bar, with fabulous lobster rolls and very casual on the wharf – the Pier is open from noon to 8pm. 2) Shore Acres restaurant. Amazing setting. Beautiful scenery on the lake. Excellent food. Open 7 days a week for dinner. They also have summer activities and some years, the liebensteiner horses perform there. 3) Two Heroes Grill and Tiki Bar. Across from Heroes Welcome. They have good food and an open Mic from 6-9 nightly every Wednesday. You can bring your own guitar or use theirs ! . 2253 Pelots Point Rd. North Hero. There is a lot more. You can go to Ben and Jerry’s and take a tour of the ice cream factory or go to the Vermont Teddy Bear factory near Stowe Vermont and see how the Teddy Bears are made and purchase them. There are also tours of cheese factories, wineries and of course, shopping in both Plattsburgh New York ( 40 minutes’ drive) and Burlington Vermont ( 45 minutes’ drive) with all the big box stores.         My place is good for solo adventurers. This room is a shared room. Not exactly your typical hostel room. All the beds are real beds, not bunk beds. Roosevelt was visiting the Fisk Estate when he heard that McKinley had been shot. The beautiful stone mansion burned in 1924 but today its romantic stone ruins make the property a scenic landmark on the island. About the Stone Cottage: Built in the late 1700s the charming Stone Cottage may have been the first building on the property. Now a guest cottage, it has a living room with fireplace, cathedral ceilings, antique furniture and a queen sized sleep sofa. The loft bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a bathroom with shower. A full sized eat in kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. General Information.: As the cottage has cooking facilities, breakfast is not included. A grill is available for outdoor barbecues and an herb garden is available for your special meals. Excellent restaurants are nearby. Enjoy swimming, walking, cycling, birdwatching, or write the great American novel. Visit the ancient fossil reef in the Fisk Quarry and Goodsell Ridge Preserves. Are you a musician?           This lovely lakefront home is located on Squire Bay in the beautiful Champlain Islands in North Hero, VT. This property is situated on a point of land that offers a nice large lawn both around and leading up to the lakefront. It is 3 bedrooms (K,Q,Q,Q,) plus and office (Full size Futon) and 2 Full bathrooms. This is a two story home with the King bedroom and one bathroom on the first floor and one large bedroom with two Queen beds along with a third bedroom that is has a Queen bed with a full bathroom and an office on the second floor. There is a modern kitchen, living area, dining area and spectacular front porch that looks towards the water for amazing westerly sunsets. There are two single person kayaks, one paddle boat and an aluminum boat (no motor) available for your use. The property has a wood floating dock that is great for fishing ! There is also a lakefront fire pit that is ideal for making s'mores with the kids in the evenings. All the linens are included in this stay. This is a dog friendly property (limit of 2) with prior owner consent and a $100 (per dog) non refundable pet fee.           This property is located on a dead end street, it has 93 feet of mostly sandy beach on one of the calmest bays on Lake Champlain. A nearly completed renovation provides lakefront living with almost no distractions. The views from the new deck are gorgeous. Mornings should include a sunrise, ducks, loons, and a hungry kingfisher. Afternoons expect our neighborhood palliated woodpecker, (may have misspelled that), any how. I hope you enjoy your stay at Shambala North, Love the song. GUESTS ARE REMINDED: SHEETS,(2 queens, 1 single sleeper loveseat) PILLOW CASES, TOWELS, WASH CLOTHS are not provided. We have a recently built large (12 x 14) outdoor covered cooking pavilion with both a grill for your burgers/steaks and dual burner outdoor stove for boiling lobsters/corn. Invite the whole family to enjoy boating, swimming, fishing and just relaxing. You can enjoy sunrises over the Green Mountains of Vermont, breath taking views of Lake Champlain, sunsets over the Adirondacks, and evening campfires in the large family fire pit. The Lake Champlain House or the 'Life is Good' house is located on the peninsula known as Point Au Fer, which is on New York's shore of Lake Champlain. It is an easy drive to Montreal, the Adirondacks/Lake Placid, and Burlington, Vermont. The beautiful Lake Champlain House was newly constructed in 2008 with 100 feet of private shoreline and a private 70 foot dock. A large 20’ x 20’ deck with picnic tables, a covered cooking pavilian (gas grill and ourdoor burners), an key west style Boat Shack/deck and large lawn area for kids to play games. Plenty of Adirondack chairs, and a large family fire pit (with fire wood) for everyone to fit around and enjoy nightly campfires. In the water your family can enjoy a swim float, a mooring for your boat, or any of the boats provided: 3 sit on top kayaks, 2 canoes, 1 paddle boat, and a aluminum row boat with oars. In town is Hero's Welcome for Vermont-based gifts and goods. Just nine miles away is North Hero State Park where you may spot white-tail deer and ruffled grouse.           The carriage barn is a unique rental as it has a mixture of modern and vintage charm. There is a large living room with a game table area at the side. The dining room will seat 6-8 people. There is also a window seat there to look over the vast lawns and gardens. The galley kitchen has all modern appliances. A breakfast bar allows for quick meals or a bar set-up for evenings. The bathroom has a vintage soaking tub or a shower for those that don't want to relax. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The balcony overlooks the lake and is a great place to watch the great sunsets that happen most nights. On the beach, there is a large area to play in the sand or to lay in the sun. A dock is there to sit on or to tie up a boat or kayak. There is also a deck to sit and enjoy the beauty of the lake and the passing of the many boats that use this lake. The Carriage Barn is set in an area that is just made to vacation in. There are so many things that you can do when you have a beautiful lake. Our grounds and gardens including flowers and berries are well cared for so that you can just sit and enjoy life. The only thing that you have to leave for is to shop for groceries! The drive back will make up for your time away. Our Carriage Barn is a year round rental so it is a nice winter getaway whether you want to go ice fishing or skiing or skating. The lake is a great place to look at in the winter and read a book or do some handwork -- just a great escape from the real world!
