Lots of writing gets done here! Goddard College is 10 minutes away. Some good food in Marshfield and in nearby Plainfield Village, & Danville, but the truly good food is in Montpelier - as good or better than Burlington. See our web page for where to eat on the way into Pie in the Sky. We are a mile off of US Rt 2 - just enough to enjoy real quiet without requiring you to drive much length of back road! Other Things to NoteIt is an old famhouse with some fancy but tasteful modern aspects such as the hot tub and the downstairs bath. Cat allergies - although the house is professionally cleaned - and well--maybe shouldn't risk it unless it is in summer time when all the windows can be opened. There are 2 air cleaners, however. In very hot weather house is cooled by an all-house venting system and a number of individual fans, aided by you or us, closing and opening shades each day. Vermont generally has only 1 week of really hot weather and so odds are you won't hit this special time!
