A SunMar Premier composting toilet w/ fan allows in house comfort in the Tree House. After a day of skiing at Sugarbush, we provide our guests with a pass to showers, and the many amenities at the Sugarbush Sports Center which is adjacent to the parking lot. You can go as many times as you want to the Sports Center. In a matter of minutes after skiing you can be slipping into the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, pool, and finishing with a hot shower. Then if you choose, there are restaurants and pubs in the village where can can have a nice dinner or pub fare and drinks. Arriving at the Tree House after your day of activities, the digital Rennai heater will keep you warm and comfy as you relax in the comfort of your private Tree House.
Bring your favorite music CD's or DVD shows, as the Tree House has a very nice Yamaha sound system and LED flat screen TV.
For active sports enthusiasts, the Sugarbush Sports Center offers tennis, racket ball, rock climbing wall, but requires reservations and fees.
Don't forget your bathing suit and a gym bag to carry your things.
If you are not skiing you have access to the various exercise equipment
in the sports center for a cardiovascular workout or muscle toning.
We are in a perfect location for various shopping, dining and skiing opportunities, as well as numerous points of interest in the area.
Stowe is about 35 minutes away, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen is 20 minutes approx.. Burlington International Airport 45 minutes, Montpelier 30 minutes, & Ben and Jerry’s 15 minutes approx..
Your hosts are on the property, but the Tree House is very private
and with your privacy being highly respected.
You will have a private view over looking the stream coming from Camel's Hump a mere six feet away, with a forest on the other side of the stream.
The space is an open floor plan with a kitchenette, table for dinner, cathedral ceilings, sleeping loft w/ full bed, and custom lighting.
The living room has a large sofa, large coffee table perfect for reading, laptop work, or just having a nap or snacks.
You will also have a private Eco bathroom that features a Sun Mar Premier composting toilet with an electric fan.
The sound from the flowing mountain stream from Camel's Hump gives the Tree House an energy that is like rain falling on a roof for perfect sleeping conditions. Guest AccessThe tree house is a self contained private area.

With a major landmark near the property, finding the Tree house location is a snap, and with your hosts on another part of the property, your security is outstanding. Getting AroundYour car or rental car is pretty much the standard for Vermont for getting around, as buses are only in the larger cities. Other Things to NoteThe kitchenette has utensils, dinnerware, as well as a Keurig coffee maker. Toaster, 4.5 fridge, large non-stick covered frying pan, electric tea pot, and a large grill w/ side burner on the upper deck.
We have found that through our own traveling experience that complicated food cooking is usually not part of the agenda while on vacation.
The kitchenette is stocked with essentials such as spices, sugar, butter, honey, fruit preserves, diet coke, gourmet tea, olive oil, cream, bottled water, Green Mountain coffee and hot chocolate K-cups, mayonnaise, Perrier sparkling water, cheese, and crackers.
In summer time his and hers mountain bikes are provided on the property, with a perfect close rural road for a relaxing tour with no steep inclines while riding.
If you choose to ride the bicycles, please bring a helmet that fits you properly, as it will be "ride at your own risk".
Also, wading in the mountain stream can be enjoyable, however it is tricky with all the rocks and water.
It will also mentioned that the Loft stairs have excellent treads and dual iron handrails, however extra care should be observed when accessing
the loft bedroom.
With this in mind of these subjects mentioned in this paragraph, we do require that guests sign a waiver of liability upon check in.
Children are NOT ALLOWED 0 - 12 YEARS.
Cell coverage is limited to T-Mobile only with fair reception at this spot. Other carriers a 1/2 mile drive perhaps is required to get reception.
Depending on your carrier a slightly longer drive may be required to get reception.

Wi Fi is on the property (password needed), so emails are able to be utilized, and internet phone Apps could be utilized as well.
