The SpaceOur Smokehouse (Tiny House) offers kitchen with fridg, stove, coffee pot and microwave. We offer complimentary coffee and bottle of wine (let us know red or white). The cottage has a delightful living room and sleeping loft also. And, an outstanding view from the porch. Guest AccessGuests enjoy hanging out in the cottage or viewing incredible sunsets from the porch. We also encourage time in the gardens or in our woodland area. Guests also have access to an outdoor chess set. Interaction with GuestsI am usually at home when I have guests and will be happy to answer any questions and help make your stay in our Smokehouse one you will remember fondly. The NeighborhoodOur little valley is located between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Short Hill Mountain Range of the Blue Ridge. We still have many farms and a most historic town of Hillsboro. The little town of Hillsboro was a mill town and has one main street with 18th and 19th century houses. It is a little like stepping back in time (but with modern amenities) when you come to Silverbrook Farm and our cottage, which is a mile south of Hillsboro. We are about 20 minutes from the historic town of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Other Things to NoteThe one thing we hear when folks visit our Smokehouse is, "Can I move in permanently?" Even my friends want to "pay to stay." And when the children come home they fight over who is going to stay there.
