        Escape to Seal Rock for a relaxing and fun-filled experience. Enjoy nature at its very best. Our home (3080 square feet) is two-story with the first floor wheelchair accessible and includes a large gourmet kitchen with double oven and island, and a more than ample dining room with table seating for 14, large living room. The main floor bedroom has your choice of a king-sized bed or two extra-long twin sized beds, and wheel chair accessible shower. The second floor offers the master bedroom with king-sized bed and large master bathroom that includes a 3-person jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. Three more bedrooms on the second floor have your choice of king-sized beds or two extra-long twin size beds (make your request with Tammy the owner). The second bathroom on that floor has a walk-in shower as well. There is also a recreational room on the second floor. This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic National Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront (easy access to the beach); a view of Hood Canal, Dabob Bay, and Mt. Rainier; a new 6-person jetted spa on the patio; two large water and mountain view decks; fire pit (which is wheelchair accessible) and a gas barbecue for your grilling pleasure. Patio furniture and firewood provided. Wading and playing in the water along with walking the beach is a favorite activity. Low tide provides oyster gathering, and crabbing in-season is available in front of our home. A boat is available for your use along with boots, life jackets, and much more. Beautifully and newly remodeled, our home is ready for your vacation enjoyment.

        The SpaceSince we don't have much history with Airbnb, our house is the top listing on another rental website in the Brinnon area and we average 5 stars from guest reviews-----The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dining area. It opens into the dining room and living room where we promise you will never get tired of the incredible view of the water. Sunrises are gorgeous and sitting out on one of the two oversized decks at night looking at the full moon’s reflection on the water is a great way to relax at the end of your day. The living room has a fireplace and plenty of space for family gatherings and activities. Downstairs in the first floor is a ping pong table, air hockey, 2 person shooting basketball game, Gamecube, darts, and kids can have their own space for games, and plenty of room to store your fishing poles, crab trap or treasures you find on the beach. Our kitchen is fully stocked and our dining area with a table that seats six, or enjoy eating outside on one of our two decks while enjoying the view. If you prefer to not cook, The Halfway House nearby is famous for excellent home cooking and homemade pies. Esquire magazine recently chose the nearby Geoduck Restaurant and Tavern #2 for “Best Bar in America,” and Pleasant Harbor Marina, just up the road, offers superb pizza and sandwiches. The home offers four bedrooms, two upstairs and one on the main floor, and two full baths. One bedroom has a Queen-sized bed with night tables, a dresser and closet. Another has two bunk beds and a closet, the third has a queen bed and armoire, the fourth bedroom has a full size bed. Bring your fishing poles and check out the many rivers that flow into Hood Canal. Nearby Dosewallips State Park, with acres of clams and oysters and geoduck, is also a great place to beach comb at low tide. Brinnon is a hiker’s paradise and there are spectacular trails and breathtaking waterfalls in Brinnon or in the nearby Olympic National Park. Or check out the great mountain biking trails. Divers can see several species of rockfish, octopus and all sorts of crabs in one of the best diving locations in the Northwest, and diving gear can be rented close by. A little further down the road is Mount Walker. A short drive up the mountain at the scenic view area, you will be blown away by the spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and turn your head back east and see the City of Seattle skyline. According to our guests, our house on the edge of the Olympic National Park is an ideal location as a base for their adventures to explore the park. Olympic National Park covers 922,651 acres of three distinct habitat zones, the alpine region, the coastline and the temperate rain forest. At 1,441 square miles, the park is larger than Rhode Island(1,214 square miles). In 1976, the park was named an International Biosphere Reserve by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, the park was made a World Heritage Site by the World Heritage Convention. Divers can see several species of rockfish, octopus and all sorts of crabs in one of the best diving locations in the Northwest, and diving gear can be rented close by. A little further down the road is Mount Walker. A short drive up the mountain at the scenic view area, you will be blown away by the spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and turn your head back east and see the City of Seattle skyline. According to our guests, our house on the edge of the Olympic National Park is an ideal location as a base for their adventures to explore the park. Olympic National Park covers 922,651 acres of three distinct habitat zones, the alpine region, the coastline and the temperate rain forest. At 1,441 square miles, the park is larger than Rhode Island(1,214 square miles). In 1976, the park was named an International Biosphere Reserve by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, the park was made a World Heritage Site by the World Heritage Convention. The second floor offers the master bedroom with king-sized bed and large master bathroom that includes a 3-person jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. Three more bedrooms on the second floor have your choice of king-sized beds or two extra-long twin size beds (make your request with Tammy the owner). The second bathroom on that floor has a walk-in shower as well. There is also a recreational room on the second floor. This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic National Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront (easy access to the beach); a view of Hood Canal, Dabob Bay, and Mt. Rainier; a new 6-person jetted spa on the patio; two large water and mountain view decks; fire pit (which is wheelchair accessible) and a gas barbecue for your grilling pleasure. Patio furniture and firewood provided. Wading and playing in the water along with walking the beach is a favorite activity. There is an upstairs with 2 beds (Full and twin) and a bath and a downstairs with .5 bath, bunk beds, a king and a queen size bed. The NeighborhoodBrinnon is the nearest city. And it isn't much of a city. It has a small grocery store and a few restaurants. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation, so having a car is crucial. The nearest town and grocery store is 15-20 minutes away, so please keep that in mind when you are looking for food. Other Things to NoteThere is no regular trash pick up at this location, so please take your trash out with you.

Guest AccessYou'll have access to the full house, the master suite, two bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs sleeping area, living and dining rooms and shore line access for scuba diving or kayaking. Harvesting, fishing, collecting or removing anything from our tidelands is NOT PERMITTED. Take only photos and memories. Leave all oysters, clams, shells and driftwood on the shore. Note: The propane tank below the Jenn-Aire grill is turned off when not in use. Before starting the grill, open the two cabinet doors, pull out the drawer on which the propane bottle rests and open the valve on top of the tank. All four igniters should work. When you've cleaned the grill surface after cooking, please close the tank valve. Interaction with GuestsI might drop in to visit on Saturday to make sure you've found everything you need. I'll try to be available by phone if you have a question. Other Things to NoteThe house is within the Waketickeh Marine Conservation Area just south of Mike's Beach Resort. If you are a snorkeler or scuba diver, you'll find beautiful reef structure immediately off shore from our house. Have a kayak? Please bring it. Enjoy a quiet paddle up and down the shoreline. Care to hike? We're near the entrance to the Hamma Hamma Recreation Area.

Our Vacation Home are an easy commute from Seattle, two hours from the Bainbridge ferry or about one hour from the Kingston ferry.           The perfect waterfront home on Hood Canal awaits your visit. You will be blown away by the view you'll see of the beautiful canal through floor to ceiling windows when you walk in the front door and look past the kitchen to the living room and the water beyond. Come, sit by the fireplace and just relax, while enjoying watching eagles fly by or sea lions and seals and an occasional whale frolic in the water. Or perhaps you’d rather set out to scuba dive for octopus just 150 yards from the house, swim, hike, mountain bike, stroll the beach, fish, and crabbing just in front of the house. At the end of your day, grab some marshmallows and roast them in our fire pit, just a couple feet from the edge of the water and also enjoying a beautiful sunset while cozying up to the fire. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dining area. It opens into the dining room and living room where we promise you will never get tired of the incredible view of the water. Sunrises are gorgeous and sitting out on one of the two oversized decks at night looking at the full moon’s reflection on the water is a great way to relax at the end of your day. The living room has a fireplace and plenty of space for family gatherings and activities. Downstairs in the first floor is a ping pong table, air hockey, 2 person shooting basketball game, Gamecube, darts, and kids can have their own space for games, and plenty of room to store your fishing poles, crab trap or treasures you find on the beach. If you prefer to not cook, The Halfway House nearby is famous for excellent home cooking and homemade pies. Esquire magazine recently chose the nearby Geoduck Restaurant and Tavern #2 for “Best Bar in America,” and Pleasant Harbor Marina, just up the road, offers superb pizza and sandwiches. The home offers four bedrooms, two upstairs and one on the main floor, and two full baths. One bedroom has a Queen-sized bed with night tables, a dresser and closet. Another has two bunk beds and a closet, the third has a queen bed and armoire, the fourth bedroom has a full size bed. Bring your fishing poles and check out the many rivers that flow into Hood Canal. Nearby Dosewallips State Park, with acres of clams and oysters and geoduck, is also a great place to beach comb at low tide. Brinnon is a hiker’s paradise and there are spectacular trails and breathtaking waterfalls in Brinnon or in the nearby Olympic National Park. Or check out the great mountain biking trails. Divers can see several species of rockfish, octopus and all sorts of crabs in one of the best diving locations in the Northwest, and diving gear can be rented close by. A little further down the road is Mount Walker. A short drive up the mountain at the scenic view area, you will be blown away by the spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and turn your head back east and see the City of Seattle skyline. According to our guests, our house on the edge of the Olympic National Park is an ideal location as a base for their adventures to explore the park. Olympic National Park covers 922,651 acres of three distinct habitat zones, the alpine region, the coastline and the temperate rain forest. At 1,441 square miles, the park is larger than Rhode Island(1,214 square miles). In 1976, the park was named an International Biosphere Reserve by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, the park was made a World Heritage Site by the World Heritage Convention. Rainier and Mt. Baker. Private stairs to the beach with a large dock allow you to play, swim, fish or take the provided canoe out for a ride.           The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathroom. The master bedroom and 2 bathrooms are on the main floor along with the kitchen, living room, and laundry. Beautiful fir flooring covers the living room and master bedroom. Covered deck can be reached through 2 sets of French doors off the living room and another door leads from the master bedroom. Kitchen window has panoramic views north to south looking over the canal. This is a cook's kitchen with custom cabinets, Sub Zero fridge, Viking stove, granite counter tops and Bosch dishwasher. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are in the walkout basement that also has a bonus room. The bonus room has sliding glass doors leading to a ground level patio area. A second living room is on the upper level. Panoramic views of the canal again jump into view. The house is adjacent to the Waketickeh Marine Conservation Area, the largest MCA on the Hood Canal. Harvesting, fishing, collecting or removing any marine life, oysters, clams, driftwood, shells, etc. is NOT PERMITTED from our shore. Please take photos and collect memories. Leave the shoreline as you find it. Paralytic shellfish poisoning may result from eating untested shellfish (clams, oysters, crabs) . Purchase shellfish at the Hama Hama Seafood Company 2 miles south of our house. Boats may be launched and moored at Mike's Beach Resort, 1/2 mile north of our house. The property is a great base for scuba diving or snorkeling. Set up your gear on the seawall and walk across our gravel beach into the water. Look at the maps and survey charts inside the house so you know where our property line is located. Be sure to stay on our property when entering or exiting the water. The tidelands in our neighborhood are privately owned. Please respect our neighbors property by staying on our property. A copy of Mason County's GIS property map and a recent land survey will be provided to renters prior to visiting our house.
