An 680 sf, 2-story, private mother-in-law structure on south-facing waterfront property on Maury (Vashon) Island with spectacular Mount Rainier views, beach-access, and located close to Pt.Robinson lighthouse. Beautiful interiors, a wood stove to curl up next to, a kitchenette. Cozy, rural, quiet and comfortable! The bathroom, eating space, and wood stove are on the main floor and the sleeping area is upstairs in the loft. Upstairs there is a queen bed and a smaller daybed (28" wide) that would work for a child or small adult. On the main floor there is a fold-out full size sofa bed ($20/person, including children, additional per night after two people). There are stairs to the south facing, Mt. Rainier view beach. Orcas sometimes visit, seals and otter pass by, and there are eagles perched in the trees most the time. The property is fairly remote, quiet and private, and the southern exposure beach is lovely. The kitchenette consists of toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, crock pot and small refrigerator. Salt & pepper, decaf, teas, olive oil and balsamic are stocked. Melita Creek Restaurant at the Vashon Island Golf & Country Club is 6 minutes away. Thai, Chinese, Mexican, French & American restaurants in the town of Vashon, 15 minutes away. La Boucherie is a fabulous farm to table dining experience (reservations recommended). Firewood is provided (there is electric heat as well). Laundry service available at $10/load. There is currently no laundromat on the island. Pets are $20/night additional. They must be leased at all times in the yard for the safety of the ducks, chickens, cat, etc. They can be off-leash at the beach. Dogs must never be left unattended in the loft. There is a barbecue outside should the weather permit, and a hammock and a fire pit at the beach. We will be here to greet you or have the code available for you if we aren't. We have a friendly dog and no, he doesn't bark at night. Free range chickens and ducks peck around in the garden and our fluffy, lazy cat lies about the yard surveying his territory. Other than our house, about 40 feet away, there are no visible neighbors. We have horses that pasture next door. GETTING AROUND: Vashon is a great place to explore on your bike. The nearest bus is about 3 miles away. The 119 Metro Bus (to Dockton) serves that stop. If you need a ride to/from the bus, let us know in advance and we will likely be able to pick you up there. The island is accessible from west Seattle, Tacoma (Pt. Diefiance), and Southworth ferry terminals. THINGS TO DO/SEE: Visit the Vashon Chamber of Commerce website for a listing of things to do on the island. There are art , garden, solar, farm tours, Strawberry Festival, wineries, a distillery, bike trails, equestrian events, fishing, hiking trails, beach combing, picturesque Point Robinson Lighthouse tours, Island Center Forest or Dockton Park Trails for mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking or jogging. Kyaks can be rented at Burton Beach, and the water there and at Dockton Park gets warm and is very swimmable in the summer. Horses can be boarded nearby, riding lessons or trail rides can be arranged. Riding on the beach is wonderful. If you have your own kyaks that are light weight and easily carried, they can be launched at the beach, although it is quite a distance down to the shoreline. Art Lessons (painting, photography, drawing, ceramics), trail rides, massage, facials and day spa services can be arranged. HOUSE RULES: *Bring a pair of cozy slippers so you can leave your shoes just inside the door. *There is a small duck pond in the yard and a very large one next door. CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PARENTS AT ALL TIMES when they are outside, especially those that don't yet swim. The rooster can be "cocky" and protects his hens, so it's best to keep kids away from him. *Septic system is fragile and VERY difficult to repair, so please don't flush anything that isn't designed to go in the septic tank. No plastic, paper, hair, tampons, pads, diapers, etc. PLEASE. (Damage deposit will be charged in the event a repair is required as a result of something in it that shouldn't be.) *Pets with $20/day additional charge. The upstairs floors are unfinished plank so they are not good with pet accidents... Dogs can be free at the beach, but need to be leashed for the sake of the ducks, cat, etc. in the yard. Dogs may not be left unattended in the Loft unless crated. * Our house is 40 feet away, so someone is around most of the time. We are happy to do whatever we can to make your stay comfortable and memorable. * Check to see if there is a burn ban ((website: hidden)) prior to lighting the stove. If there is no wind for a few days, a burn ban is sometimes in effect. The fine is $1,000 for violating Puget Sound's Air Quality authority! Yikes! Additional fees may apply: - Pet Fee | $40 per stay - $25 per person per night for more than 2 people On a bluff, south facing, with stairs down to the beach. On a 3 acre property facing Mt. Rainier across Puget Sound. No houses other than the host's nearby. On a private bulkhead there are chairs and a fire pit, a cold water sink, and a gorgeous beach for your fishing pole, kyaking ($20/person), beachcombing. Spectacular late 1800s lighthouse and huge Marine Park within walking distance to the east and west.. Bring a fishing pole for silver salmon fishing from the shore in August or September, an air mattress & bathing suit to float on in the summer, or enjoy the hammocks, fire pit ( as long as there 's not a burn ban) and a gas barbecue. Deer, otters, herons, seals, sea lions , osprey, eagles and in the winter, Orcas, may appear for you. We have chickens, ducks, rabbits, horses, a cat & a dog.

We'll be sure to be here to greet you when you arrive & then will provide you with a key code, so you can come & go as you like and not worry about disturbing anyone. The rest of the house is open and spacious, so feel free to spread out and make your-self comfortable in the many shared living spaces. Our home is situated in a quiet, new residential area of Kent with free street parking. It’s just a quick 6 miles from the airport and 15 miles to downtown Seattle. Only 1.5 miles to Interstate 5 and local shopping with malls and restaurants aplenty. Beautiful Des Moines Waterfront park is only 4 miles down the road. We live adjacent to several neighborhood parks, a couple of great walking trails along the river, and have a professionally landscaped back garden to enjoy the sunshine as available! Other amenities include: high-speed wireless Internet, flat screen TV, and laundry facilities. We are sensitive to those with allergies, and have installed a micro-filter on our HVAC system. The SpaceVashon Park District's Point Robinson Park is 10.0 acre shoreline park and historical and marine conservancy located on the east shore of Maury Island off Point Robinson Road overlooking East Passage. The site has provided fog and lighthouse service for vessels since 1885. The lighthouse has been fully automated since 1978. *Vashon Park District owns the upland part of the park; the remainder is on long term lease from the Coast Guard. The property conserves an extensive sandy beach shoreline that wraps around the point, a saltwater marsh, and upland woodlands. Walking trails and a few picnic tables have been developed along the scenic shoreline providing dramatic views of East Passage, Tacoma, and Mount Rainier, and through the upper wooded slopes. Pt. Robinson Stewards have fully restored the two Keepers' Quarters on the property for use as rentals. All proceeds from these rentals goes back into the park's restoration and maintenance. Guest AccessQuarters B is part of a duplex. The Caretaker lives next door in a small apartment next door. Both residences have separate entrances with a shared front porch facing Puget Sound and Mount Rainer. Fabulous views of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound make this a totally unique place to celebrate a special event. Ideal for outdoor weddings, reunions, large pic-nics, barbecues, memorials, film production, photo shoots, etc. for small or large groups. A honeymoon cottage and dressing areas for bride and groom are available nearby. Guest AccessCars arrive on Vashon via the Washington State Ferries from West Seattle (Fauntleroy), Southworth (Olympic Peninsula) or Tacoma (Pt. Defiance). The King County Water Taxi runs directly to downtown Seattle ( docking near the Pike St. Market, Aquarium, stadiums, etc.) Vashon has a shuttle service that can be arranged from the ferries to the property, which is about a 20 minute drive. Uber also operates on Vashon. The price of the venue varies with dates and availability. Tents, tables, chairs, musicians, etc. can be coordinated for you at an additional charge, or you may use your own event planner, caterers, or other professionals. Some situations require additional insurance coverage, liquor or banqueting licenses, and other expenses which vary depending on the number of people and coverages required. There is a gorgeous 12,000 sq. ft. mansion (not available for events, but can be used as a film location or photography venue) that is the backdrop behind the pond. There is a honeymoon cottage (check out "Loft and Beach, Vashon Island" on Airbnb" which can be a dressing area or honeymoon cottage nearby. It is HIGHLY recommeded that tents be available in the event it is extremely hot (for shade) or should the Pacific Northwest's fickle summer decide to let raindrops fall. Events generally need to occur during daylight hours and end 1 hour before sunset to allow guests to safely exit the venue. Outdoor lights need to be run by a generator and portable toilets provided for the number of guests attending. Getting Around*Ferry lines on summer weekends can be unpredictable, so carpooling, vanpools, or shuttle services are recommended. It is also recommended that you have a pre-event window of a couple of hours if you're conducting a ceremony in the event guests are delayed. *High heeled shoes don't work in the field, so we recommend you encourage everyone to wear flat-soled shoes. The SpaceThe bathroom, eating space, kitchenette, and wood stove are on the main floor and the sleeping area is upstairs in the open loft. The Loft has a spectacular view of the water. There is a queen bed and a narrower 26" wide daybed upstairs that work for a small adult or child, and a full-sized sleeper sofa on the main floor. There is space to sleep at the beach, on the bulkhead,in a tent in the summer if you have one to bring along ($20/person, including children, additional per night after two people). There are stairs to the south facing, Mt. Rainier view beach. Orcas sometimes visit, seals and otter pass by, and there are eagles perched in the trees most the time. The property is fairly remote, quiet and private, and the beach is lovely for walking and beach fires. Point Robinson Lighthouse/Park is a 7 minute walk along the road or beach. We have two other guest spaces on the 40 acre property: The Coach House at Wildwood (sleeps 4) and Wildwood Barn Studio (sleeps 2). The Loft and bluff yard are available for celebrations of up to 65 people (weddings, reunions, family celebrations, birthdays, photo shoots, etc.) May - September 30. Inquire for availability and pricing. The adjoining property, Vashon Field and Pond, can accommodate groups up to 400. Guest AccessThe kitchenette consists of toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, crock pot and small refrigerator. There is a propane barbecue outside the loft, another propane bbq at the beach, and a fire pit with wood provided at the Loft and another on the beach (you can collect firewood on the beach). Creekside Restaurant at the Vashon Island Golf & Country Club is 6 minutes away. Thai, Chinese, Mexican & American restaurants in the town of Vashon, 15 minutes away. Minglement (at the corner of Cemetery Rd. and Vashon Hwy), Burton Coffee Stand and Cafe Luna (1/2 block west of the 4 way stop in town) have espresso, muffins, etc. The Heron's Nest gallery in the town of Vashon has amazing local art, and there are several other galleries to enjoy, as well. Firewood provided (there is electric heat as well). Laundry service available at $10/load. There is a barbecue outside the loft, one at the beach, and a fire pit at the beach, should the weather permit. Interaction with GuestsIf there is ANYTHING we can do to make your stay more comfortable, or if you have any questions or need anything, please text or call or knock on the door any time. We have a friendly dog, Saussi, who loves to have his back scratched. He will bark at you when you arrive. Feel free to tell him to "Go", "Sit", "Stay" or "Lie Down". He is usually with us, wherever we are. We also have free range bunnies, chickens and ducks that peck around in the garden. Our horses are next door and our fluffy, lazy cats lie about the yard surveying the territory. If you are bringing a pet, please BE SURE it is LEASHED at all times, even if you have a tiny pup, to avoid disturbing massacres of free-range animals! If you are considering bringing a large dog, it must be completely controllable on a leash, and not able to bolt and pull the leash out of your hands to pursue fowl/cats/rabbits/people/horses. The NeighborhoodRural, peaceful with a spectacular view of Mt.Rainier. Other than our house, there are no visible neighboring houses. We have horses that pasture next door, Point Robinson lighthouse park and a marine park for beautiful hikes and picnics. The hammocks at the beach are up in the summer and there is a fire pit at the beach for grilling over the fire and making s'mores. 43 acres of privacy await you! If you are interested in hosting an outdoor event at the Loft, Mid-May through late September, for up to about 50 people, the yard/property may be leased with the loft at an additional cost. We also can accommodate up to 500 guests on the adjoining property. Please let us know if you might be interested in hosting an event and we can discuss the options. There is also a private 40 acre property nearby with the same lovely southern exposure and fabulous Mt. Rainier view. It has parking for up to 250 people ($2,900 & up per day) and can be leased for outdoor events May - September. The Loft can be used as honeymoon suite, dressing area or guest quarters, and there is a barn room with a shower to use as another changing area. Please inquire for further details. Getting AroundVashon is a great place to explore on your bike. The nearest bus is about 3 miles away. The 118/119 Metro Bus (to Dockton) serves that stop and it is a few miles bike ride from there (busses take bikes). Vashon Shuttle Service ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) transports around the island and to/from SeaTac airport. Vashon Taxi Service ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) and Uber are other options should you need a ride, but call them before you get to the island as they may or may not be available when you need them. The SpaceVashon Park District's Point Robinson Park is 10.0 acre shoreline park and historical and marine conservancy located on the east shore of Maury Island off Point Robinson Road overlooking East Passage. The site has provided fog and lighthouse service for vessels since 1885. The lighthouse has been fully automated since 1978. *Vashon Park District owns the upland part of the park; the remainder is on long term lease from the Coast Guard. The property conserves an extensive sandy beach shoreline that wraps around the point, a saltwater marsh, and upland woodlands. Walking trails and a few picnic tables have been developed along the scenic shoreline providing dramatic views of East Passage, Tacoma, and Mount Rainier, and through the upper wooded (website hidden). Robinson Stewards have fully restored the two Keepers' Quarters on the property for use as rentals. All proceeds from these rentals goes back into the park's restoration and maintenance. Quarters A is a full house with an amazing front porch facing Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. High Season: We rent by the week during high season 5/25/15 to 9/11/15 (Memorial Day - Labor Day). The SpaceThe space feels like plush tree house living. The setting is high above the ground with large triangular divided light windows. The floor plan is open in the middle allowing for a great place for yoga or just to lounge. The building is multi-functional with a shop and storage downstairs that will not be used (except occasionally during longer rentals) when there are guests upstairs in order to keep the space quiet and private. The SpaceWe just finished our basement apartment and it is super CUTE! Our house was built in 1917 and the basement reflected this! Now, it is totally refinished with all the creature comforts I could think of. In addition to the sofa bed, I have a queen areobed...if that would be more comfortable to you. Our location is really great. We are about 10 mins to airport and about 20 mins to downtown Seattle. So close to the beach, marina, restaurants, bars, and the bus stop. We have a grocery store 1 1/2 miles up the road and another on 3 mile up. Everything is close by. The beach park has the Des Moines Creek trail, that is 2.5 miles one way..it is a great place to walk, jog, or ride a bike. In addition to the paved trail, there are also tons of dirt trail to explore on foot or with bike. In the summer there is a farmers market on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Lots of great stuff to buy and foods trucks to eat from. Wednesdays there is also a concert series with a beer garden. Des Moines has several festivals throughout the summer also, check out "Destination Des Moines" on line to see what is coming up. I love where I live and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do! In the summer we have a farmers market on Saturdays and Wednesdays down at the marina as well as a concert series on Wednesday evenings. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance. Anthony's home port is at the end of the marina and has an awesome happy hour in the summer...sitting on the deck with a view of the water and all the boats. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop I block up from our house. You can take this bus to Burien and transfer for downtown Seattle. I usually drive up to the LINK station, park my car, and ride the train into Seattle. Super easy! Other Things to NoteWe have been running Airbnb rentals in Puerto Rico for many years. We work a lot, so you will often have the place to yourself while we are at work. Guest AccessThe room is located on the third floor of the town home with a nice valley view. The private bathroom with a bathtub/shower is right next to the room. The bathroom is only used by our airbnb guest. Make yourself at home in the living room, dining room and kitchen. We have a great collection of DVDs and books. Also, enjoy our private patio that overlooks our yard. We also have 1 futon in another bedroom, 1 sofa bed located on the very bottom level where there is a TV and private half bath and another sofa bed on the second level in the main living room. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. The NeighborhoodThere are many wonderful biking, running and walking trails along the river. The neighborhood is located up on a hill overlooking the valley. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop nearby. There is a direct bus that goes directly to downtown Seattle during commuting hours. There is another bus that also runs every 30 minute to the light rail station at the airport. It is a 10 minute bus ride to the light rail. You may then take the light rail to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill and the University of Washington. The light rail runs all day.       THE SPACE: This is one private room for reservation in 4 bedroom house with a shared bathroom. *Size: It is 11ft x 13ft (143 sq ft) or 4m x 3.5m (14 sq m). *Wifi available with boosters in house to ensure quality speed. *Fishing, swimming, kayaking, peddle boat, canoe are all fun bonuses to lake living and equipment is available for use with private access on property. *Gardens are all around the property, where you can enjoy the flowers, fruit, and scenery by taking a walk along the many small pathways, or enjoying the view at one of the patios/seating areas. * An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL sunrise can be seen from the street side, where you can overlook a valley with Mt. Rainier in the background on a clear day. A breathtaking sunset can also be seen on the lake side with the Olympic Mountains in the background on a clear day. I highly recommend taking the time to see at least one of these. *The Blue Sunrise View Room has a very large window overlooking an East valley that also has beautiful sunrise scenery, and mood lighting set up for use. *There is a ceiling fan in the room for air circulation, a space heater in the closet if the forced air is not warm enough for you, and a large floor fan if you get too hot. The room is equipped with a desk, chair, closet, mini fridge and freezer, small counter top size oven, coffee press, electric kettle, a small set of dishes with cutlery, napkins, a few mirrors, one queen size bed on a memory foam mattress, shelving, set of clean towels, hangers, clock with alarm, selection of magazines & books, and hair dryer with a variety of toiletries. GUEST ACCESS: *Guests enter through the main door on the first floor. There is a key lock box to enter the house. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: *I will do my best to greet guests at the door when they arrive to answer any questions and show them the space. The cats tend to be even more friendly when you are eating.. ;). They are not allowed in the private rooms in order to keep those rooms free of pet dander. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW: The house is right on Angle Lake! Less than 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport, and near public transportation to downtown Seattle. Go for a run around the lake, it's apx. a 5km (3 miles), play tennis, basketball or soccer at the public park just down the street, go to the YMCA which is only 5 minutes away, or if you are done with the private beach at the property go across swim or boat across the lake to the public beach at Angle Lake Park (you can drive or run to the park too!). Southcenter Mall is 5km (3 miles) away. GETTING AROUND: Nearest Food From Lake House by walking: *0.9 km (0.6 miles) go north on Military Rd then north of 46th Ave S. A 76 gas station and mini mart. *1.4 km (0.9 miles) go south on Military Rd past light. A Subway sandwich shop, SeaTac BigFoot Java coffee shop, and a 76 gas station with mini mart. *2.4 km (1.5 miles) go north on military then north on 46th Ave South then west on 188th. A Taco Bell, Dave's Diner & Brew, Jack in the Box. Continue north on Pacific Highway S. you have Denny's, Seasports Restaurant and Lounge, Maxi's Restaurant & Lounge, Mango Thai Cuisine & Bar, L&L;, Subway, and Sharp's RoastHouse. *Close access to the light rail station and bus allowing access to downtown Seattle. The bus is $2.75 for an adult and takes apx. 16-20 minutes including the walk from the airport. Uber is also available in this area, and costs between $9-13 to get to/from the airport/lake house. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: *The house can be difficult to find: Due to the random order of house numbers on the street, please read house manual for detailed identifying markers. *Narrow driveway on slope: Free parking is available upper gravel lot space. Wide enough for two large SUV's (but a very tight squeeze). Please park close to one side of the upper parking area to allow other guests to park in the driveway with you. If you do not feel comfortable maneuvering in the driveway, there is TONS of street parking available! :) *Every Wednesday morning cleaning service: Professional maids deep clean the whole house and private room every Wednesday from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. You have the option to leave room door closed for privacy or leave open for cleaning. (Room is also cleaned by myself between guests). *Animals in house: I want to emphasize the house does have 1 dog and 4 cats. Lint rollers are available in room. Animal hair exists and I do my best to keep this at bay to prevent allergies. Claritin is made available. Cats are not allowed outside, and doors which access outside must not be left open. *Challenging stairwell to access room: This house would be a problem for someone with mobility issues. The stairway is winding, narrow, with an awkward wall, and is required to get from entrance of house to 2nd floor, where the private room is located. *Circuit overload: If all outlets in room are being used you may pop a circuit. The circuit box is on the first floor in the corner to the right of the television. *Shared living space & bathroom: Three private rooms are listed with two bathrooms. I try to give guests a private bathroom, but if all rooms are occupied you may be sharing a bathroom. If you are assigned the bathroom on the 1st floor you will have a private bathroom, however, the inconvenience is your private room is on the 2nd floor. You may be assigned the bathroom on the 2nd floor, closer to your room. The 2nd floor bathroom may or may not be shared with other guests depending on occupancy of house. HOUSE RULES: *Do not let the cats outside. *Remove your shoes. *No smoking of any kind. *Do not engage in any illegal activities anywhere on the property. *No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests allowed on property at any time. *Notify host if any damage occurs during your stay. This is to ensure the comfort of the guests who will be staying after you. *Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests - please compost or dispose of food waste. *Recycle. I get a fine from Waste Management if items are not recycled properly. *One life jacket per person is required to be on board any boat when in use. *Children are considered people, and a child occupancy is the same as an adult. *No pets allowed, the house pet occupancy is already full with long term dog and cat tenants. I love living right on Angle Lake! Less than 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport, and near public transportation to downtown Seattle. Go for a run around the lake, which is approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles). There is a separate entry from outside directly into the bedroom. Guests may use the kitchen and the grill just outside the door. Guests are invited to relax in the garden or hike through the woods. The Garden has multiple seating areas, a fire pit, wood-fired pizza oven, and a hammock built for two. Guests are welcome to sample the berries and fruit in the garden. The neighborhood is forested and there are no views of other homes. The house is on a private 1/4 mile long drive. The Point Robinson lighthouse is about a mile away. Lola, the friendly labradoodle, will insist on striking up a friendship. Woody, the feisty cat, will be sweet and gentle until she bites you. Guest AccessPrivate bedroom and bath. The main room is a great open layout, so you can entertain, cook your meals in the galley kitchen, serve and watch the game all in one huge space! The bedrooms are laid out intelligently, master and small guest room on one side, with the other large guest/laundry on the other. Guest AccessLots of parking in the rear and on the side of the house. Use the wonderful circular drive in the front for turning around or dropping off. Main entry is controlled by a keypad making access easy for all guests. Interaction with GuestsI'll be sure to stop by and say hi when you stay at the home, but your privacy is important so my presence will be minimal, stopping by just to grab the mail and make sure all is well at the home. There is a unit at the rear of the property that is always occupied by a tenant. The NeighborhoodDes Moines is a small town community with some great shops, restaurants and a beautiful Marina and waterfront view. Be sure to explore some of the trails and other outdoor activities while in the area. It is a little pocket neighborhood with hardly any traffic. A short trail to the beach is located 4 houses down from us. In the summer we have a farmers market on Saturdays and Wednesdays down at the marina as well as a concert series on Wednesday evenings. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance. Anthony's home port is at the end of the marina and has an awesome happy hour in the summer...sitting on the deck with a view of the water and all the boats. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop I block up from our house. You can take this bus to Burien and transfer for downtown Seattle. I usually drive up to the LINK station, park my car, and ride the train into Seattle. Super easy! Other Things to NoteOur home is in a quiet neighborhood in S Seattle. The two residences (Quarters A and Quarters B) are beachfront properties and a short walk to the lighthouse and other features of the historic light station. Both residences are available for vacation rental throughout the year, offering you a wonderful way to enjoy the beach, the Sound and Vashon Island. Quarters B has two-bedrooms, one bath, and completely furnished with a full kitchen and sitting parlor. This house is restored to capture much of its 1919 historical condition. It can accommodate four- six people. Quarters B is part of a duplex comprising half of the downstairs and the entire upper floor of the house. It's next door to our caretakers, Jake and Julia, who live at the property with their two children.

La salle de bain, manger de l'espace, l'aire de repos est au 1er étage dans le grenier et poêle à bois sont à l'étage principal. A l'étage, il y a un lit queen et un lit de repos plus petit (28' de large) qui travaille pour un enfant ou un adulte petit. Au rez-de-chaussée il y a un canapé-lit dépliable pleine grandeur (20$ / personne, y compris des enfants, additionnels par nuit après deux personnes). Il y a des escaliers vers le sud en face, MT. Rainier vue plage. Orques parfois visiter, phoques et loutres passent par et il existe des aigles perchés dans les arbres, la plupart du temps. La propriété est assez distant, calme et privé, et la plage exposition sud est belle. La kitchenette comprend grille-pain / four, micro-ondes, plaque chauffante, mijoteuse et petit réfrigérateur. Sel & poivre, décaféiné, thé, huile d'olive et balsamique sont stockés. Melita Creek Restaurant au Vashon Island Golf & Country Club est à 6 minutes. Le bus le plus proche est à environ 3 miles de distance. Les 119 Metro Bus (à Dockton) sert de cet arrêt. Si vous avez besoin d'un trajet vers/depuis le bus, nous le faire savoir à l'avance et nous serons probablement en mesure de venir vous chercher là. L'île est accessible à partir de west Seattle, Tacoma (PT. Diefiance) et Southworth gares maritimes. CHOSES à faire / à voir : Visitez le site de Vashon, chambre de Commerce pour obtenir une liste des choses à faire sur l'île. Il y a art, visites de jardin, solaire, ferme, Strawberry Festival, caves, une distillerie, cyclables, équestres, pêche, sentiers de randonnée, Bichikomingu, circuits pittoresques Point phare de Robinson Island Centre forestier ou Dockton parc sentiers pour vélo de montagne, équitation équitation, randonnée ou le jogging. ENFANTS doivent être accompagnés de PARENTS en tout temps lorsqu'ils sont à l'extérieur, en particulier ceux qui ne nagent encore. Le coq peut être « arrogant » et protège ses poules, il est donc préférable de garder les enfants loin de lui. * Fosse septique est fragile et très difficiles à réparer, donc s'il vous plaît ne pas rincer tout ce qui n'est pas conçu pour aller dans la fosse septique. Aucun plastique, papier, cheveux, tampons, tampons, couches, etc.. S'IL VOUS PLAÎT. (Caution est facturée lorsqu'une réparation est requise à la suite de quelque chose qui ne devrait pas être). * Animaux domestiques avec des frais supplémentaires de 20 $par jour.                   THE SPACE: This is one private room for reservation in 4 bedroom house with a shared bathroom. *Size: It is 11ft x 13ft (143 sq ft) or 4m x 3.5m (14 sq m). *Wifi available with boosters in house to ensure quality speed. *Fishing, swimming, kayaking, peddle boat, canoe are all fun bonuses to lake living and equipment is available for use with private access on property. *Gardens are all around the property, where you can enjoy the flowers, fruit, and scenery by taking a walk along the many small pathways, or enjoying the view at one of the patios/seating areas. * An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL sunrise can be seen from the street side, where you can overlook a valley with Mt. Rainier in the background on a clear day. A breathtaking sunset can also be seen on the lake side with the Olympic Mountains in the background on a clear day. I highly recommend taking the time to see at least one of these. *The Blue Sunrise View Room has a very large window overlooking an East valley that also has beautiful sunrise scenery, and mood lighting set up for use. *There is a ceiling fan in the room for air circulation, a space heater in the closet if the forced air is not warm enough for you, and a large floor fan if you get too hot. The room is equipped with a desk, chair, closet, mini fridge and freezer, small counter top size oven, coffee press, electric kettle, a small set of dishes with cutlery, napkins, a few mirrors, one queen size bed on a memory foam mattress, shelving, set of clean towels, hangers, clock with alarm, selection of magazines & books, and hair dryer with a variety of toiletries. There are paper and pens for writing. *There are two bathrooms between three private rooms in the house. *Lakefront Retreat Deck Sunrise View Room & Lakefront Retreat Rainier View Room may be available if you are looking at accommodations for a larger group of people and need more rooms. GUEST ACCESS: *Guests enter through the main door on the first floor. There is a key lock box to enter the house. The code is updated on a regular basis and will be provided at check-in. *Two guest bathrooms are shared between three bedrooms. *No outside visitors and no overnight guests are allowed at any time. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: *I will do my best to greet guests at the door when they arrive to answer any questions and show them the space. I will leave guests alone to the privacy of their room. *You will have interactions with the animals of the house. They are very outgoing and friendly. The cats tend to be even more friendly when you are eating.. ;). They are not allowed in the private rooms in order to keep those rooms free of pet dander. However, the shared living spaces, even with air purifiers, have pet dander and are a high potential to those with allergies. Claritin is offered to those with allergies, please ask if needed. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW: The house is right on Angle Lake! Less than 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport, and near public transportation to downtown Seattle. Go for a run around the lake, it's apx. a 5km (3 miles), play tennis, basketball or soccer at the public park just down the street, go to the YMCA which is only 5 minutes away, or if you are done with the private beach at the property go across swim or boat across the lake to the public beach at Angle Lake Park (you can drive or run to the park too!). Southcenter Mall is 5km (3 miles) away. GETTING AROUND: Nearest Food From Lake House by walking: *0.9 km (0.6 miles) go north on Military Rd then north of 46th Ave S. A 76 gas station and mini mart. *1.4 km (0.9 miles) go south on Military Rd past light. A Subway sandwich shop, SeaTac BigFoot Java coffee shop, and a 76 gas station with mini mart. *2.4 km (1.5 miles) go north on military then north on 46th Ave South then west on 188th. A Taco Bell, Dave's Diner & Brew, Jack in the Box. Continue north on Pacific Highway S. you have Denny's, Seasports Restaurant and Lounge, Maxi's Restaurant & Lounge, Mango Thai Cuisine & Bar, L&L, Subway, and Sharp's RoastHouse. *Close access to the light rail station and bus allowing access to downtown Seattle. The bus is $2.75 for an adult and takes apx. 16-20 minutes including the walk from the airport. Uber is also available in this area, and costs between $9-13 to get to/from the airport/lake house. Please ask for more detailed directions if needed. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: *The house can be difficult to find: Due to the random order of house numbers on the street, please read house manual for detailed identifying markers. *Narrow driveway on slope: Free parking is available upper gravel lot space. Wide enough for two large SUV's (but a very tight squeeze). Please park close to one side of the upper parking area to allow other guests to park in the driveway with you. If you do not feel comfortable maneuvering in the driveway, there is TONS of street parking available! :) *Every Wednesday morning cleaning service: Professional maids deep clean the whole house and private room every Wednesday from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. You have the option to leave room door closed for privacy or leave open for cleaning. (Room is also cleaned by myself between guests). *Animals in house: I want to emphasize the house does have 1 dog and 4 cats. Lint rollers are available in room. Cats are not allowed outside, and doors which access outside must not be left open. *Challenging stairwell to access room: This house would be a problem for someone with mobility issues. The stairway is winding, narrow, with an awkward wall, and is required to get from entrance of house to 2nd floor, where the private room is located. *Circuit overload: If all outlets in room are being used you may pop a circuit. The circuit box is on the first floor in the corner to the right of the television. *Shared living space & bathroom: Three private rooms are listed with two bathrooms. I try to give guests a private bathroom, but if all rooms are occupied you may be sharing a bathroom. If you are assigned the bathroom on the 1st floor you will have a private bathroom, however, the inconvenience is your private room is on the 2nd floor. You may be assigned the bathroom on the 2nd floor, closer to your room. The 2nd floor bathroom may or may not be shared with other guests depending on occupancy of house. HOUSE RULES: *Do not let the cats outside. *Remove your shoes. *No smoking of any kind. *Do not engage in any illegal activities anywhere on the property. *No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests allowed on property at any time. *Notify host if any damage occurs during your stay. This is to ensure the comfort of the guests who will be staying after you. *Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests - please compost or dispose of food waste. *Recycle. I get a fine from Waste Management if items are not recycled properly. *One life jacket per person is required to be on board any boat when in use. *Children are considered people, and a child occupancy is the same as an adult. *No pets allowed, the house pet occupancy is already full with long term dog and cat tenants.

                    Vashon Park District offers amazing stays in the two renovated Keepers' Quarters at Point Robinson Lighthouse. Both residences are available for vacation rental throughout the year, offering you a wonderful way to enjoy the beach, the Sound and Vashon Island. Quarters B has two-bedrooms, one bath, and completely furnished with a full kitchen and sitting parlor. This house is restored to capture much of its 1919 historical condition. It can accommodate four- six people. Quarters B is part of a duplex comprising half of the downstairs and the entire upper floor of the house. It's next door to our caretakers, Jake and Julia, who live at the property with their two children.
