In the summer, it means hiking and all close by. It's like a slice of heaven right out the door. I've seen the Milky Way from the deck and also an amazing display of the Northern LIghts on a cold winter night. Getting AroundBiking to Winthrop or Mazama is great. You also can walk the trails easily. I've skied from the cabin to the Mazama store and back in the winter for minor supplies. I also love skiing from the cabin (via Luna Chix) to Freestone for breakfast and back. Other Things to NoteThis is an all-season cabin. The Methow has much to offer and spring is radiant with balsam root and sunshine. Fall shimmers with aspen leaves.
