The SpaceBig Hat Farm is a legal cannabis farm operating under the medical cooperative laws of Washington State. We do not sell cannabis, but offer the experience of living and working on an outdoor cannabis farm through our Bed & Breakfast or campsite accommodations. All guests must be over 21. Located in the central Cascades (we are nestled between Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens, and Mount Adams), our secluded ten acres of paradise includes two crystal clear streams from underground springs; one featuring a waterfall and the other a pond made by an actual beaver dam. I guarantee that you have never tasted water this naturally pure. While on the property, guests can join in every aspect of living on a cannabis farm: Water, prune and care for the plants, help make clones, plant, harvest, even process the buds. Of course, all tasks are season dependent: Planting is expected late April and harvest will be mid-August through early October. No worries, there is always something interesting to do, learn or see at Big Hat Farm regardless of season. Check out our two huge fire pits, one by the house, one in the grove. Marvel at the giant stumps in the forest, or try gold panning in the creek. Our nights are dark dark, making stargazing a favored event. Book early for meteor showers, especially the Perseids in August. You can also relax in the contemplation room, looking out over the valley, while trying one of our many utensils for smoking, vaping, or dabbing cannabis products. Try the Gravity Bong, Fumo Pipe, Helix waterpipe, backpacking bong, Eyce bong, NectarCollector, old school dabber, double bubbler, triple-bubbler,and more; or roll a joint with pure cannabis papers and hike the fern trail to view the moss trees. Musicians are always welcome to join Elektrik Dave in the music room. Tire of crows? They are a rare sight at Big Hat Farm, the many hawks and eagles keep them away, allowing us to also see robins and finches and don't you dare forget to check out the woodpecker tree. If you get up early, you will likely see deer. We also share the forest with raccoons and porcupines, skunks and chipmunks. Coyotes, cougars and bears are known to be in the area, but have not been seen on the property. Big Hat Farm, on the cutting edge of cannabis tourism, is now taking bookings for our bed & breakfast and campsite accommodations. Book early for fantastic opening rates on a very exclusive experience. Please check us out on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Email inquiries to (EMAIL HIDDEN) Guest AccessOur guests are free to explore all 10 acres! The cabin offers a full kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a laundry space and a living area with a huge fireplace to help you get cozy. With a Bose surround sound system and a huge projection screen for over 300 DVDs, and shelves upon shelves of books, the cabin also provides an indoor retreat. Open the huge sliding doors and you have access to over 1,000 sq ft of deck space for outdoor cookouts, lawn chair sun-bathing and reading, or hot tub dipping under the stars of a clear night sky. We also have an additional bunkhouse that has a full bedroom and bathroom just steps away from the main house. This can be rented for an additional fee or if more than 4 people are staying at the cabin. Please inquire for additional details. Main Cabin - Kitchen, Living, Bathroom and 2 Bedrooms Bunkhouse (ask for additional pricing) - 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom A short distance from both Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier, the area boasts various walks, hikes and activities for the outdoorsy. For activities closer to ‘home’, we are happy to provide two kayaks and paddles should you chose to walk the 100 yards to the lake entrance and explore the area on the water. We are also happy to offer two vintage bikes for rides on the country roads or into town to grab a burger, pick some famous local blueberries, or check out the well-known tulip farm. All amenities are for the use of our guests. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee maker, coffee and sugar and other kitchen essentials. There is a large, new washer/dryer combo unit in the utility area as well as detergent and fabric softener. We also stock the bathroom with shower essentials and toiletries should need anything. Along with regular shower towels we also provide additional towels in case you want to take a dip in the hot tub (which you should!) For entertainment we are happy to provide oodles of books, CDs, and movies along with board games, cards, and puzzles as alternative fun. Come and enjoy the cabin as your own. Get away from it all, pen that book, write that song, be inspired by the beauty of the landscape out of the A-frame windows. Or just relax, breathe the air, and enjoy being here. Guest AccessGuests will have the cabin as if it were their own. We will provide you an entry code to the door and once you’re there you’re in your own retreat. We are happy to provide as much contact and suggestions as desired, but understand that you’re coming here to disconnect, so are happy to leave you be. We will be on call for any questions, or if any special need arises. The roads to the cabin are all paved and plowed (in case you come for some snow-covered cabin action). We have ample space in the driveway for vehicles, trailers and boats. As you may notice in the photos, there are two structures to the cabin - the main cabin (with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living, laundry and a bathroom) as well as a bunk-house (an extra bedroom and bathroom). Please note that we rent the property out as one rental, so you will not be ‘sharing’ the property with any additional guests when you come. The NeighborhoodWe are a 5-minute drive from the small-town of Mossyrock which offers a grocery store, a few cafes, a local sports bar, a couple of shops, as well as a library, community center and convenience stores. Located between Mayfield and Riffe Lakes, there are various boat launches within close distance of the cabin along with State Parks. The Degoede Bulb Farm & Gardens offer a gorgeous Show Garden of beautiful flowers which compliment their endless fields of tulips. The area is well-known for the bluberries that grow here, and if you’re not out picking some, you can always stop by in August for the Bluberry Festival. Mossyrock is a 20-minute drive from a larger lumber town, Morton, that has additional shops and restaurants. It is a 45-minute drive from the larger towns of Centralia and Chehalis that offer big box stores, multiple fine dining options and evening entertainment. The town is located between Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier for outdoor activities in the area. We provide various tourism pamphlets and books about the region for your planning.
