The SpaceQuiet, quaint house nestled in a lovely garden backed by a neighborhood park. Fully equipped kitchen allows you to have your favorite coffee or tea each morning and cook as much as you'd like. Cozy fireplace and lovely decorations afford relaxation during your stay. Grandma's Garden cottage is located within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, downtown Olympia's harbor, and the Westfield shopping mall. Both the Capital and the Evergreen State College are less than 10 minutes away by car and easily accessible by bus. A few specifics about the cottage that may be important for your decision-making.The cottage is attached to our home and shares a laundry room between the houses. It also shares a backyard space. We have a gas grill and lawn chairs available for guests who like outdoor dining. There is one "real bed" and a pull-out sofa bed. The "real bed" is a pillowtop softside waterbed with tubes. It is fully adjustable according to one's preference for soft or firm mattresses. (We can show long term renters how to adjust the mattress for their optimal comfort.) The best weather in the Northwest is between mid-August and mid-October. Come explore our region. We are just an hour and a half from the Pacific Ocean, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic National Forest. We look forward to your visit!

Very private and quiet. Daylight apt in basement facing woods and Capitol Lake. You will sleep very well. Free internet, small cable TV. This apt is perfect for anyone with intermittent legislative business in Olympia, for parent(s) with kids at The Evergreen State College, or anything else! We are 2 blocks from the state Capitol and leg buildings, and a short walk/shuttle ride to downtown. The neighborhood is all historic homes, with lovely, friendly neighbors. We are very central to Mt Rainier National Park, the Olympic mountains, and a short ride to Seattle and Portland. Maureen is an excellent teacher and our home is filled with her art. She does pottery, painting, and charcoal drawings. The NeighborhoodOur house is located on a private, dead end street. Our location feels very secluded. We are on the ocean bay inlet and you will see hawks, eagles, herons, ducks, geese, and many song birds. We are surrounded by artists and trees. Please note: We live close to highway 101 to the Olympic Peninsula. See location on map. We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Olympia. Getting AroundYou need a car for an easy stay here. We are within an 10 minute car drive to downtown Olympia and 3-4 minute drive to Starbucks, pharmacy, grocery, movies, mall, and the gas station. We do not have shore line as our house sits 10 feet above the bay. Water access is a 15 minute walk away. Evergreen College has miles and miles of trails and biking. We are 10 minutes from Tumwater falls (by car) and the west side of Olympia is the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. Other Things to NoteBreakfast: Breakfast is available from 8:00 am to 9:30. You must let us know if you would like breakfast the evening before. Transportation: You need a car to stay here as we are over a mile to the bus stop. We are 10 minutes (with a car) from downtown Olympia and approx 5 minutes to Blue Heron Bakery and Cafe, drug store, grocery and coffee. Animals: We do not accept animals as guests unless they are service animals. We do have 4 pets. OUR PETS DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ROOM. Our pets include: Two pugs named Finnbar and Francis, a small mixed breed named Seamus and a 3 legged cat named Bones (resides in our art studio). All are very well behaved and sweet. We do not have any barking dogs in our neighborhood. Pottery classes are available upon request at a rate of $30 per hour per person.

The SpacePerfect for one person, great for two. Brand new Serta Perfect Sleeper queen-size bed covered by Protect-A-Bed, an allergy protection barrier. Partial view of the Puget Sound from your own private deck; full view of the pool from your bathroom. Our home is surrounded by llamas on two sides and deer use our front yard as a playground. Plenty of parking for several cars, an RV, and boat. You are three miles from The Evergreen State College and downtown Olympia. We are just ten minutes (walking) from the bus line. You're also walking distance from Tugboat Annie's restaurant, West Bay Marina, and Rotary Park which includes non-motorized watercraft access to the Puget Sound. Don't want to walk? You can use our two 3-speed beach cruisers! Summer fun includes the heated swimming pool and many local community events. Seattle is just an hour north and Portland is two hours south. The beach is seventy-five minutes west. Winter fun includes cozy times by the wood stove and skiing two to three hours hours away. Olympia is a unique place with a small town ambience. It's a wonderful blend of so many different types of people and it's the state capital too. Lots of local restaurants we'd be glad to recommend. Guest AccessPrivate room with full bath, walk-in closet, view deck, and WIFI (there is not a private entry). Shared access to pool, large kitchen, yoga space, living room, downstairs bathroom, and TV room - we have a video library of close to one hundred titles. You can watch our stuff (our tastes!) or you can bring your own Blu-Ray/DVDs. Limited TV is available if you can figure out the three remotes. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the home and we come and go during our guests' stay. However, we love to hang out too. Tiffany has two boys - ages 11 and 13 - that will be here sometimes. They are very respectful kiddos and our other guests have enjoyed them when schedules overlapped. The NeighborhoodThe local neighborhood is quiet and lush with greenery, flowers, birds, deer, ducks, walkers, runners, cyclists, and an occasional fox or seaplane. Ten minutes by foot takes you to an awesome lookout point and park bench where you can eye-spy sailboats, large container ships heading out to sea, paddlers from local rowing clubs, and annual tugboat races. It’s also a perfect spot to just relax, read, or write in your journal. Ten minutes by car takes you to downtown Olympia and Capitol Lake, a beautiful place to walk, people watch, and connect with the locals. Capitol Lake and next door Percival Landing host Olympia’s summer season of festivals. Three local coffee roasters, two micro-breweries, and several nice wine bars/lounges are scattered throughout the downtown area. These tend to be busy before or after live theater shows and major performance events at the WA Center for the Performing Arts. Store options in nearby West Olympia include a co-op owned natural food grocery store, Trader Joe’s, Barnes and Noble, and other large chains such as Target. Getting AroundPublic bus system goes everywhere! Closest bus stop to our house is ten minutes away by foot, corner of Division and 26th. Large parking area (on property) can handle two cars, an RV, and a boat. From SEATAC airport, head south on I-5 for fifty miles and boom, you're in Olympia! Take exit 105A/State Capitol/City Center. Go through the traffic circle, continue straight through tunnel, turn right on Capitol Way (north). Turn left on 5th Avenue, stay to the right. Go up slight hill to the first traffic circle then the second traffic circle. At the second traffic circle turn right onto West Bay Drive. Continue on West Bay Drive and go up a steep hill. Stay on the main road as it bends left then right. You are now on Crestline Drive. Stay on Crestline. In less than a mile, you will see our house on the left. Driveway is bordered on the left side by our neighbor's white fence. Other Things to NoteWe have two small Boston Terriers named Jerry and Skyla. Both are very affectionate.

The SpaceShort Stay Lodgings, OUR Vacation Rental consists of two fully furnished apartments in the heart of downtown Olympia. Rent a two bedroom apartment with all the amenities of home. The kitchens in each apartment are fully equipped. You will have a clean kitchen with a dishwasher which is fully loaded with everything from coffee grinders and wine glasses to popcorn makers, a full refrigerator and stove including place settings and seating for 4-6 guests. There is a full bath with shower and full tub with all linens and towels provided, Free WIFI, HBO, washer and dryer in every unit. It is immaculately cleaned for each new guest. Private, and Quiet. Free parking on site. It is five minutes to the Westside Olympia Coop for all your cooking needs and organic food. It is on a busline and Close to downtown boutiques, Library, YMCA or Gold Gym or Drop in Yoga, Farmers Market, etc. It is close to the Evergreen State College, the State Capitol, and both hospitals. No pets please as we have folks with allergies who come and stay with us. Travelers such as nurses, physical therapists, doctors, and legislators will often stay for 3 months at a time. The SpaceThese are two private rooms in a family home located on five wooded acres. You can book just one room, or both rooms. Located just outside of Olympia this an ideal location at the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and the Washington Coast. A great place to stay if you are visiting The Evergreen State College, or a quiet retreat for those visiting Olympia. The first room is furnished with treasured antique furniture I recently restored. The iron bed has a feather bed and lofty comforter to make for a cozy rest. The second bedroom also has a feather bed and cozy comforter. This room has a desk area. The second room will only be booked along with the first for families or two parties traveling together. Wi-fi and a large private bath will make your visit even more comfortable. Our driveway is a bit steep, but don't worry, we will send you some navigation tips in the House Rules after you make a reservation. I have lived in the area for a number of years and can recommend parks, hikes, restaurants and other local areas of interest. There will be a light breakfast for you with coffee, whole grain bread, and condiments. Guest AccessThere is a large outdoor patio with a table and chairs for guests to enjoy. Guests are also invited to use the living room and eating areas. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation in the area.

The SpaceOur Westside Vacation Home- ( upstairs 3 bedroom apartment) is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood only a block from the Organic Food COOP and walking or 5 minute drive to the core downtown business district and State Capitol Building. The nicely appointed Guest rooms have their own lock and key and are furnished with a queen bed or two twins and each room is appropriate for one or two guests. The home comfortably accommodates up to six guests. It is available by the week or by the month for up to four months. We do provide a nice gift basket with a few goodies in it like cookies and chips but most of our guests rent from us because they want the use of our fully equipped kitchen. We have a full time manager who lives in the downstairs studio with his own private kitchen and bath. Our manger for your apartment is a college student at The Evergreen State College and is a personal trainer at a local gym. The home can be cleaned weekly by our house keeper/manager upon request. You most likely will not see the manager unless he is doing a weekly cleaning, working on the grounds, cleaning the roof, or doing special requests such as cooking, childcare, or errands. These services are a separate fee. Please inquire for details. Around the corner is a neighborhood favorite cafe open for breakfast and lunch, and dinner with organic food and latte's. The Westside Olympia Co-op is only a two block walk for fresh local organic vegetables every day. The home/apartment is on a bus line with easy access to both The State Capitol, downtown, TESC, and the mall. There is also plenty of parking. The setting is park like with an outdoor deck and barbecue overlooking the large private fenced yard with big trees. This private apartment has a living room, dining room, fully loaded kitchen including wine glasses and coffee grinder, blender, pop corn maker, organic coffee and so much more. Large screen TV with all cable and HBO is in the living room. FREE Wireless Internet is through out the home. This is a smoke free home, no pets, and guests must be 18 years or older to book a reservation or be accompanied by an adult. Only green cleaning supplies are used in cleaning this home. This property does have steps. It is appropriate for travelers, legislature, mature families, and other extended stay business trips to Olympia. Guest Access3 bedroom Olympia Guest House/apartment guests rent the upper main floor which has a private entrance and keys for each bedroom as well. There are three private bedrooms and one full bathroom with full tub and shower, use of full kitchen, dining, living room, & yard. Free WIFI HBO, Washer Dryer, Cotton sheets and towels. . All bedrooms have private lock and key. Interaction with GuestsThere is a manager who lives in a private studio in the downstairs apartment. It is separated by a locked door and the manager/ house-keeper has her own private bathroom and kitchen. The washer and dryer are downstairs and our manager can let you in to use those facilities. The NeighborhoodWalkability, very quiet, close to Olympia Organic Food Coop(two blocks), parks, TESC, busline, hospitals, legislature and downtown. Getting AroundLotsa parking and on busline. Great walkability to downtown, Legislature, The Evergreen State College, SPSCC, and five minutes to all westside shopping. Close to freeway, mall, movie theaters, restaurants and all amenities. Other Things to NoteThis rental is a duplex with an upstairs 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment -approximately 1100 sq ft. which we rent through airbnb and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). The basement apartment is a studio where our manager lives. Each apartment has it's own entrance and set of keys and each has it's own kitchen and bathrooms. Parking in the driveway and use of the back yard and the grille in the backyard are shared by both units.

The SpaceThis craftsman style house has fir and oak wood floors, recently restored to their original luster. The large, comfy common room has musical instruments, books, games & puzzles. The bistro style dining area has great natural light, making you want to linger longer. Everything has been prepared for you to relax and unwind. This is a hostel, but it's the nicest and cleanest one you'll ever see. Besides the two private rooms, there are dorm rooms with bunk beds. Guest AccessGuests have access to the well equipped kitchen for making their lunch or dinner. They have access to a piano, marimba, guitar and many percussion instruments. Guests have access to two large common rooms with a cozy fire and comfy furnishings. Guests have access to the internet via wifi. Interaction with GuestsWe respond to our guests' need for interaction. If they want to engage, we're happy to talk. But if guests want to be left alone, we're okay with that, too. We live in the basement so we’re always available if needed. We welcome people at later hours but prefer if you arrive between 4pm and 6pm and ring the doorbell for immediate service. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is on the edge of downtown and close to the capitol campus. There are a lot of office buildings springing up all around us, but our row of residential housing hugs this main artery. You can easily walk to many interesting places. Getting AroundOur Intercity Transit Routes 94 (best) and 64 swing by to take you to the transit station for more connections. One block away, you can catch the DASH, a free bus that goes up & down the main drag from the Capitol to the Farmer's Market. Two buses enroute to Tacoma go past our corner, the 603 and the 612. To bus to and from Seattle, check Sound Transit's schedule for connecting with Tacoma. If you take the train to Olympia, bring your bike. There are two awesome bike trails between us and the train station. Other Things to NoteCheck in time is 4pm - 6pm unless you make other advance arrangements. Guests can stay up to two weeks. Kitchen Use - The kitchen is available for lunch use between 11am to 1pm. Kitchen access for dinner is 5pm to 9pm. Everyone appreciates it when you immediately clean up after yourself in the kitchen. Bathroom Sharing - Your time in the bathroom should be as enjoyable as the rest of your visit. Please take maximum enjoyment with minimal time, if you suspect others may be waiting for their turn. We provide mirrors and hair dryers in all the rooms where additional primping can take place. Fresh towels are in the shelves near the bathroom, used towels go into hampers after use. Leave the bathroom better than you found it each time.

The Space*Please make sure you have a profile picture and some information about who you are. I will not accept people without a picture. We have a private room with a queen sized bed ready for two. Nicely furnished with some antiques and found objects, it's a cozy place to be. It's on the main floor of the house next to our own bedroom and the shared bathroom. You will have access to the front and back yard as well as the living room/kitchen. Guest AccessWireless internet, keyless entry, bus stops around the block, fridge space, kitchen use, back and front yard use, hammock haven use, fresh fruit in the summer right off the trees and vines! Interaction with GuestsDepends on the guest! During the week very little due to working hours, but weekends are flexible. We have been known to have coffee and go to shows with some of our guests. I love giving local recommendations, so please ask! The NeighborhoodWe live right across the street from a school which has walking paths, a park, and areas for dogs to run. The area is family friendly and within walking distance is Olympia Coffee Roasters, Vic's Pizzeria, Frog Pond convenient store, and a great little market called Spud's. During the summer the yard has some fruit trees and grape vines! If you're really ambitious you can take a walking tour to see the historic homes in the area or visit the Capitol museum. Getting AroundIt is located within walking distance to the bus stop. It's about a 25-30 minute walk to downtown Olympia. There is a parking lot and street parking for your car. Other Things to NoteThere is 1 VERY SOCIAL cat in the house. Duncan (black and white) will most likely want to sleep with you (paw on the face means "lift the covers up!"). There is a dog as well, a blue heeler named Sadie, and she can be a bit neurotic before warming up to you. If you have a dog phobia, please don't stay here (she has never hurt anyone, she is just weary of strangers). The first Mondays of the month will be a bit noisy around here as we host the Olympia Old Time jam from 7-10 pm. Bring an instrument if you'd like! We have a full-time roommate who is an Evergreen State College student. There is only one bathroom, so please be mindful of time spent in there. This is an old house which means it has character. I buy old stuff that is weathered and worn, which is just part of my style. If something looks old and used (some may judge as dirty and broken), it isn't that we don't clean it, it's just an older home filled with used stuff (disclaimer for those who want to stay in a sparkling/newer home). This can impact how clean the home looks/feels, and I assure you we clean the spaces. It may smell like an antique store in here, and I personally enjoy it.

The SpaceTrue Alpine lake just 20 minutes to downtown Olympia. Cleanest lake around, great fishing and watersports. House is charming, with 2 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms and a common space (kitchen/living) on main floor. One queen bed and one double futon. 2 nice bedrooms, each have their own bathroom and views of the lake. Master bedroom does not have a shower. Queen bed in Master bedroom on third floor and futon in 2nd floor bedroom. Full bath with showers on 1st and 2nd floor. Great views of the lake from all three floors. Very cozy lakehouse getaway for a couple, 2 couples or a family. House includes washer and dryer, cable tv/netflicks/tivo/stereo/dvd player. Private boat launch and two kayaks. There are about 40 steps down from parking to the house and the house is three stories with a spiral staircase from the first floor to the second. Parking for two compact cars or one large car. We would request that they stay off the furniture and do not come into the house wet and are overall well adjusted and generally prefer dogs stay on the first floor as the upstairs rooms are carpeted. We do have a dog gait that can be used for the spiral staircase. Pet approval on a case by case basis.

The SpaceThe queen bed bedroom is in the house across from the bathroom. My house is artsy, funky, natural. From March through September I guarantee that your sheets have been dried by the sun! I have two cats, one is quite old and the other is a little feisty. They are both friendly. My house mate has a small chihuahua who doesn't go in the guest room at all. The NeighborhoodThere's a nice bakery on the corner and its a short distance to downtown. Parking is available in front of the fence, just make sure you pull off the road all the way onto the gravel. Getting AroundThe bus stop is four houses away, one minute by foot, however it stops running at 8:15 pm. Other Things to NoteI have a mother in law unit in the back. He has his own kitchen, but share's the bathroom. I rarely see him. I also have 2 cats and 2 chicken's.

The SpaceSet in a private wooded location with a covered deck and a beautiful view of the forest and the Black Hills. The Evergreen Getaway apartment has one bedroom, one bathroom, a full kitchen and a living room. There is also a small extra room with a daybed as well as a sun room leading out to a private deck with flowers and scenic views. A lovely and comfortable place to relax, this getaway is also very close to the Evergreen State College and to Mud Bay Road. Highway 101 is a mile away, making trips to downtown a breeze. There is a nice paved trail through the woods within walking distance as well. The Evergreen Getaway is unique because it feels very secluded and tranquil, yet it is not far to grocery stores, shopping, resaurants and more. Our home is also located on the property and we are happy to answer any questions or help with ideas of places to go in the area. That said, we give our guests full privacy unless further information is requested. Guest AccessThe Evergreen Getaway features a lovely sunroom leading out to a private deck and access to the large backyard/garden shared with homeowner. The SpaceVisit our secluded Gettaway on 9 acres of woodlands in the foothills of Capitol peak. Walk and meditate on our private trail - then have breakfast and a dip in the Sumatra Hottub before your Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage. We have one or two small private guest rooms and a large bunkhouse room that can provide up to six beds when we are teaching classes. Oly is located within 2 hours of Rainier and Olympic National Parks and the Pacific coast.Hosts Paul and Sara are engaged in the local Olympia community and can help direct you to activities, arts, and outdoor opportunities. We love to cook and make our own wine and ale among other items. Allergy Alert: We have med/small Dog and a Cat, although they do not have regular access to the guest room. Also, the dog although harmless does tend to greet newcomers wtih some wary barking so this may be a factor if you are not an animal lover. The SpaceThe Union Place is a small sturdy house, built in the 30's with spacious rooms and lots of built in charm. The Union Place has only one official bedroom with a queen size bed. But there's a pull out, full size bed in the Media Room which could hold another person or two. There are sliding french doors that can close off the Media Room and dark curtains to pull across them for privacy. The large flat screen TV comes complete with full cable access, On Demand, Netflix and more. There are Bose speakers you can hook your iPod up to. Wireless Internet? But of course! There's even a little office corner where you can work. The Kitchen is our favorite part. It's very large for such a small house, meaning you won't be alone when you're cooking! It's surrounded by dark tile with glass accents. All the small appliances you might need are there, as well as stainless steel cookware, plenty of dishes and fine glassware. Speaking of glass, the owner's son is a glass blowing artist so there are several of his pieces sprinkled into the décor. We think you'll like the Union Place and enjoy the contentment of having your own house with the convenience of being downtown. There's a sweet little outside courtyard with a table and chairs so you can hang outside, too. You'll enjoy a short walk to both the Capitol Campus and the Downtown District. There's a bus line, too. The house is amazingly quiet considering the access to services.

The SpaceThe Annex is a new lodging adjacent to the Fertile Ground Guesthouse. This small house has a charming vintage feel. Your room has a queen size bed. Carpeted throughout. Walking distance to both the Capital and downtown shopping. Its back yard connects to Fertile Ground's backyard, making sharing space and enjoying the gardens so much easier. There is a combined living/dining room, a fully stocked cute kitchen, back deck with tables, chairs and umbrella and Hot Tub. The shared bathroom has a claw foot tub (with a shower). We have Apple TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc. and wifi, but no cable. The Annex is part of a larger compound of housing, lodging and office/meeting space that we call The Commons @ Fertile Ground. It's a non-profit with a mission of promoting urban sustainability on a neighborhood scale. This green oasis in downtown Olympia has a large garden and mature fruit and nut trees along with chickens and numerous swings and outdoor seating areas. We are super kid-friendly and can provide high chair, stroller, playpen, booster seats and toys! Guest AccessGuests have access to a shared bathroom, kitchen, living and dining room. They have off street parking and a huge backyard for roaming, relaxing and (in season) grazing. The house is equipped with keypads on the front door and your room so there is no need to keep track of keys, - lock-outs are a thing of the past! Interaction with GuestsI use the second bedroom of the Annex as my home base on the week nights and am offsite but available by phone on the weekends. I take cues from the guests and either include them or ignore them, depending on their wishes. The NeighborhoodWe're on the edge of downtown - walking distance to everything! The library is right across the street, post office is two blocks. It's a safe neighborhood and can be noisy in small spurts, but not typically. Sylvester Park is a small park that marks the city center just a few blocks away. Capitol Lake is much larger, and has a walking trail all the way around it - also downtown. Getting AroundWe're within walking distance to the Intercity Transit main terminal. There is a free bus shuttle called the Dash that travels around the downtown vicinity. Greyhound Station is only 3 blocks away. Downtown is three blocks one way, and the Capitol Campus is three blocks the other way. Other Things to NoteThe Hot Tub is the best part of this situation. It's pretty well screened by trees so it's clothing optional. We are part of a larger network of buildings and outside areas, so there are many places to hang out and still give each other space. There are also many opportunities to connect with others if you so desire. The Commons at Fertile Ground is a nonprofit whose mission is to demonstrate urban sustainability. We have permaculture gardens, chickens and community space.

Our four acre site is open to you and is completely surrounded by forests (with walking paths) and water. Many will never want to leave the property. However, within 25 minutes we have salmon viewing (November), a tribal museum, parks along Puget Sound, waterfront boardwalks, performing arts center, numerous golf courses, live theater, bookstores, farmers' markets, brewpubs, wine bars, restaurants for every taste, kayaking and more. Just seven minutes away is a small market that carries anything needed for your stay plus a neighborhood pub (Character's Corner) that is well worth a meal stop. Getting AroundThe closest scheduled public transportation is three miles away. Van service from SeaTac Int'l Airport (1hr, 20 min) is available but pricey--car rentals are the best choice. Parking is available 100 feet from the cabin. If you fly into SeaTac plan on three hours to pick up baggage, secure a rental car and then make the hour and twenty minute drive. Driving time (traffic dependent) from the cabin to downtown Seattle is about an hour and 25 (URL HIDDEN) Portland plan on just over two hours. Other Things to NoteSince this is a cabin it might pose some problems for people with severe mobility problems. The walk from parking to the cabin is about 100 feet along a sloping gravel pathway. Check with hosts if you have any special needs...we'll do our best to accommodate them. . Cell phone (Verizon) reception is good. Free guest Wi-Fi. Let us know if you want a barbeque set up at the cabin. Rough trail or steps to beach in front of cabin...check with us. Binoculars, field guides, National Forest Pass, maps, umbrellas (you'll seldom need them), extra cooking gear and just about anything else you might need is in the cabin or available on loan from the hosts. The SpaceThe east side of Budd Bay Inlet has a lot going for it - the best of the morning sun, quick access to downtown and the freeways, and the quiet seclusion of the point make an amazing combination. Watching the tide coming and going with all its treasure, the marine life at low tide and great heron and other shorebirds are all an absolute pleasure to observe. An additional 12 stairs lead straight from the cabin door to the beach. Though high tide leaves little beach below, the deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the waves lapping the shore or, in stormy weather, crashing against the breaker wall. I'm 1 mi from the main drag and rural. Batdorf and Bronson, Dancing Goats, San Francisco Street Bakery, Farmer's Market all within 10 minutes.There are great bike trails, too. Olympia is very walkable. But bring your umbrella!

You can visit the art galleries, the shops, and walk along the bay. If you need to shop or want to see a movie, we are less than a mile from the Westfield Mall. We are within an 10 minute drive to downtown Olympia and 3-4 minute drive to Starbucks, pharmacy, grocery, movies, mall, and the gas station. Most people bring their car when coming to Olympia but we can accommodate your situation. Just message us. We do not have shore line as our house sits 10 feet above the bay. ANIMALS We do not accept animals as guests unless they are service animals. We do have 4 pets. OUR PETS DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ROOM. Speaking of, we are quick 10 minute drive to the harbor and downtown. If it is a nice day you will get to see Mt. Rainier and she is a beauty. Olympia is safe and pedestrian friendly Tons of great food, coffee, art and entertainment. We have 3 used book stores to choose from, tons of thrift, art and artisan chocolate. Radiance has a wonderful apothecary and massage therapists. People in Olympia love micro brews and coffee so be prepared. As the entrance of the Olympic Peninsula, get ready to be amazed by nature.

Olympia has a thriving downtown Farmer's Market at Percival Landing, where live music and multitudes of events are hosted all summer long. We are 1.5 hours to the ocean, 2 hours to Mt. Rainier. If it's big city attractions, Seattle is just 70 miles away up the freeway. My rental is a block away from the bay. Enjoy a full view of Mt. Your pets have a doggy door that opens to a fenced back yard for their enjoyment and your ease. Ample off street parking available if you want to bring your boat, RV, camper, or extra vehicles. The NeighborhoodThe woodsy neighborhood is very safe & quiet. There are several homes along the dirt road leading to the property. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY to keep the dust down, watch out for neighborhood pets and be mindful of the potential for oncoming vehicles. Getting AroundThere is no convenient public transportation within walking distance--You will need a car! Other Things to NoteARE THERE ANIMALS ON THE PROPERTY? Yes. There is a variety of wildlife all around the property and surrounding forests. We have several chickens (no roosters) and one very friendly, well trained Border Collie, Bandit. There are no cats on this property. All animals reside outdoors. Please do not bring any indoor pets. ACCESSIBILITY: There are stairs leading to the Loft space and stone stairs with no railing around the garden area. If you have trouble with stairs or are unstable on your feet, this may not be the place for you. INTERNET/WIFI There is presently NO WIFI INTERNET in the Loft. However, there is high speed internet(DSL) available at the main house which extends to some areas in and around the gardens. Guests may acquire internet access while on the property but the range may be somewhat limited while roaming about.

I keep the house very clean, I love my granite counter tops so it's important to me to not cover them up with a bunch of junk that can be put away. The neighborhood is very quiet, and I am a tip-toer, so expect a very peaceful sleep. I have a modest home theater downstairs which you are free to use. You're also welcome to the washer and dryer. We have decent walking trails, a lake down the street, and a park within walking distance. Getting AroundIt's about a 24 minute walk to the nearest bus stop so if you don't have a car, I can give you a ride each morning to the bus stop at my workplace, it's on the way to the transit center in downtown. Other Things to NoteWhile there is a very lovely kitchen, you might want to buy some food unless you enjoy a lot of bachelor chow.

It's comfortable and airy at the same time, and the two-story bay window provides the perfect perch to enjoy all the dramatic weather of the Pacific Northwest. You will appreciate our three new queen mattresses - known online as #BestMattressEver. One is located in the loft which has a sitting area and spacious desk as well. The other beds are in the two downstairs bedrooms, adjacent to the main bathroom - with a glorious 6 jet shower! Outside you have a variety of spaces. On the garden side we have a grill, table and seating for six. On the beach side there is a deck with a small table. Wind permitting, you can build a fire on the beach and gather around as the sun sets across the water. Don't let the focus on nature fool you. This is a high tech house. Crazy fast internet. Located at the intersection of Pickering Passage and Dana Passage, with outlying parts also falling along Budd Inlet. The community features many waterfront and waterview homes. The walkability of the neighborhood is what makes Boston Harbor unique among the communities along this sound. The area is home to the Boston Harbor Marina, and sits near Burfoot Park. Other Things to Note***There are many stairs! This property and house is unfortunately inaccessible to those with mobility issues***

The property is located five minutes from the Olympia Country & Golf Club and five minutes from The Evergreen State College. Getting AroundParking for 6-8 cars is available on the property. It is located off of Cooper Point Road NW, about ten minutes drive from downtown Olympia. There are no nearby public transit options. Other Things to NoteMoonlight illuminates Puget Sound during the evenings and wonderful sunrise views as the sun rises over Mt. Rainier.

Getting AroundThere are buses just blocks away. Most things are within walking distance. If you are looking to get to all of the great hiking spots, a car is most convenient. Other Things to NoteThere is an Airstream that is also an Airbnb on the property. It has its own patio area and will not effect your stay, though you may notice people lounging outside by the fire pit:)

            The SpaceThe sleeping space is in a separate building with a private deck. It has heated bamboo floors and a lovely view of the lake. It is just steps from the main house where you'll find a full private bathroom with shower and tub, and where you'll have full use of a beautiful shared kitchen and living space. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet rural area with good birding and walking. It's an easy drive to a Trader Joe's and an organic and local food market. Getting AroundNo~ Other Things to NoteI keep bees on the back of the property. Also available in the main house is a room that will accommodate two people at the same price. It is not a view room, but is next to the private bathroom.
