The SpaceWe are in an excellent location for mountainous countryside, historical city life and coastline. Our home is a unique large detached house with electronic gates offering off road parking. All our rooms are well maintained, and have a charming ambience. We also have a scheduled ancient monument in the garden called Watts Dyke, thought to preceed Offas Dyke. The village has a lovely church where we can hear bell ringing from, every week. Guest AccessGuests approach via the large hallway where rooms and staircase lead to guest bedrooms, dining/kitchen area and lounge. Guests are welcome to use our space or to use other vacant areas ie conservatory. Interaction with GuestsWe aim to interact with guests as much or as little as they would wish. We aim to provide a home from home experience, along with our knowledge of the local area. We enjoy meeting people and making new friends. The NeighborhoodWe are located in a village setting with good access to road networks. There are lovely walks right from the doorstep. A fantastic Indian restaurant offering take away service, local shop and 2 local pubs. We are approx 1 hour drive from Manchester airport. Chester is a 15 minute drive. Getting AroundThere is a train station in the village and bus stops, although having access to a car would be beneficial. Other Things to NoteWe have guest bedrooms with shared facilities, and a self contained annexe. Room requests would depend on availability for your dates, and early booking is advised. All accommodation is based on self catering, although breakfast facilities are provided this is on a self service basis unless agreed otherwise. If you have particular needs please let us know at the time of booking. We are dog friendly, but ask they be housetrained, get on with other dogs and people, and are not left in the property unattended unless by prior agreement. Our dogs are non moulting and we ask for those breeds that moult, owners are encouraged to not allow dogs on the beds or furniture. We also recommend all pet vacinations and health checks are up to date prior to staying.

The SpaceOur holiday bungalow features two bedrooms (one larger bedroom with a double bed, and one smaller bedroom with a single bed and additional pull out bed if needed), a large living area (with sofabed), kitchen, and bathroom. The space is ideal for weekend breaks or long term rentals. Our two-bedroom bungalow comfortably fits 3 adults and a 2 children (total of 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 pull-out single bed and 1 sofa bed). Please contact to discuss your arrangements further.     Our family lives in a 3 bedrooms semi detached house close to town center and 5 minutes walking to a wonderful park. The location is very convenient to walk either in town center and in a natural reserve area just outside the town center. The house includes a large kitchen and separate dining room. There is a large garden with BBQ area. We have a spare bicycles witch our guests are welcome to borrow during their stay. There is a big supermarket close to the house and cafes and bar in town.

A little further away are Llangollen, Whitchurch and Oswestry and Liverpool, Manchester and Shrewsbury are only 1 hour away. We are located on the outskirts of the village of Caergwrle, a village well served by independent shops and take-aways. There are some nice restaurants within a short drive of the apartment. This is a perfect location for a holiday or for someone looking to move to the area and needs somewhere to stay whilst house hunting. We also cater for people who commute on a weekly basis for work. The apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen and lounge diner as well as TV and freeSat box, DVD and video player are available on request. Internet Wi-Fi is also available.                                 The SpaceOur cottage is a converted stables on a farm close to Chester. It features a large, luxury private bathroom with walk in shower and big tub, which serves two guest rooms. (A third room is ensuite) We are very flexible on check in and check out. It does depend on our other commitments but if you have particular requirements please check before booking. Your room features a very comfortable double bed with small wardrobe and two dressers. A bedside table, lamp and radio alarm. Fresh towels, toiletries and a hairdryer included for all guests. Laundry items and ironing facilities for guest use available on request. (A second room has a ground floor lounge with double bed over that is accessed by a small staircase. The bed area has reduced headroom. This 2nd room is listed separately - search Higher Kinnerton). The guest bedroom area is separate from the host family area by virtue of the rooms being at the far end of the house. Great for drinks and meals. Last orders for food 9 pm and booking is recommended. Menus in the room - we can book for you. Plenty of walks and open spaces to enjoy with some nearby hills to climb for spectacular views across The Cheshire Plain. Just a 10 minute drive away is the historic city of Chester and we're 5 minutes drive from Broughton retail park, which has lots of shops, restaurants (open until 11pm) and an IMAX multiscreen cinema. Further along the motorway is the vast retail complex of Cheshire Oaks, Blue Planet Aquarium and the fabulous Chester Zoo. If you need inspiration or guidance on where to visit, the best route or circuit and what there is to do, please ask - we'll make sure you make the best use of your stay in the area. Getting AroundDirections to our home Come off at the Junction 36 (NOT 36A) signed Pen-Y-Ffordd, of the A55 and follow signs for Higher Kinnerton. We are within sight of the Royal Oak pub. If you've come down Lester's Lane then turn left at the pub and we are the second property on the left, about 250 metres along. If you follow a satnav to CH4 9AJ you will end up at The Swan pub. Turnaround and head back down the road and go passed The Royal Oak pub (Don't turn left) and we are about 250 metres further on, on the left. We can park a lot of cars here and the area is well lit. From the airports there's taxi or train or we can collect you; they're less than an hour away. The village is on the bus route to Chester and other locales with train connections. If you want some exercise we have pedal bikes. Other Things to NoteWe have superfast fibre optic broadband with WiFi in all areas of the house including the garden, and this is a 4G area. We also have Sky Q, which means you can watch Sky TV on your own tablet. As well as the usual traveller, our property would be ideal for a midweek business traveller or someone working in one of the many enterprises in our area. We are perfectly located for guests wanting to travel through Chester, Liverpool, Wales, Cheshire and the North West. Even if we say the weekend is blocked we could be flexible on that.

The World Heritage Centre for Wales, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is also just 10 mins away. There is Wrexham town centre for shopping and lots of lovely country pubs for dining out. Getting AroundWe are a little bit off the beaten track so don't have access to public transport but do have plenty of parking available. We are offering for your stay the private use of double bedroom with M&S divan bed, seasonal duvet and crisp white cotton bedding. The bedroom has a west facing window with views of the Pontcysllte Aqueduct towards Llangollen and a north facing window overlooking woodland. It has been completely renovated for our guests. We have also added a new shower room with a rainfall power shower and we have finished this off with a local Llangollen slate vanity top and floor tiles that come from the same quarry as our garden slate. Guests also have exclusive use of the parlour with open fire and gas fire, Smart TV with SkyHD/Netflix, piano, cd player/radio and patio doors leading out to the first floor decked balcony with chairs and table and magnificent views of the aqueduct and the sunset over the Vale of Llangollen. Adjacent to the parlour is the breakfast room where you can help yourself to tea, coffee (Philips Senseo coffee maker) juice, toast, cereals, croissants/pastries for breakfast whenever you are ready - take your breakfast out to the balcony and you may see the hot air balloons passing close enough to say good morning. There is also a fridge and popty ping (that's Welsh for microwave) with water/milk/juice/beer. Free wifi throughout the house. LGBT welcome. There are two pubs in the village and 10 minutes walk takes you to a pub with live music on weekends. There is Indian and Chinese takeaways in the village and a Tesco superstore is a 5 minute walk and they have a bakery and rotisserie.                                   This is a newly refurbished property attached to the owner's home with its own entrance and parking facility. Set in a beautiful rural location. The one bedroom Cottage would suit 2-3 adults ( sofa bed in sitting room) or 2 adults and up to 2 children. We also welcome pets and take weekend bookings. All our guests have been very happy with this accommodation which is small but perfectly formed! Ideal location for those who wish to pursue outdoor activities and sport interests in the beautiful North Wales Countryside. Many of which are available within a short distance.

Country side location, with easy access to Golf, shopping or country pursuits. It really is a compact home from home that would suit a couple or a single person. A warm, light, roomy studio.
