The SpaceThis well maintained and furnished townhome is in the heart of Incline Village near the Lake, the Hyatt, Diamond Peak Ski Resort and all Incline's amenities. It features two bedrooms and a den downstairs with the Master suite upstairs along with the kitchen, dining room and living area. Unique end unit location provides privacy, beautiful wooded views and an outdoor BBQ area! Lake Tahoe is a mere one block walk from the units front door, with popular Incline Beach, playgrounds, picnic and volleyball areas, and boat launching. There is great local bowling alley and movie theater within 2 blocks, and during the winter months, the Diamond Peak Ski Resort shuttles picks up right in front of the complex. Guests have access to Complex's Clubhouse, which has a jacuzzi, sauna, gameroom, and swimming pool for summer use. Free high speed wireless internet is also provided to guests

The SpaceThe condo is now brand new ! I remodeled May-June 2014. There is no key. Upon booking, you will get the code to the entrance door. Woodstock is a quiet, "good" condo complex. Incline Village is a beautiful place, the condo is within walking distance to most amenities. Tiled floors with radiant heat everywhere, so please keep shoes and boots in the closet! 1 Bd, 1 Ba, 667 sq ft. Sleeps up to 4 adults. A pop-up trundle in living room makes two twins or one queen. Minimum 2 nights. Cleaning fee is $ 100.00 per stay. NO animals, sorry! (Too many disrespectful pet owners had me make this rule). Bed clothes, towels (not beach towels), WiFi, cable TV (incl sport stations) plus many music channels, DVD player, small deck, picnic area with BBQ outside, and private parking area. Washer, dryer, full kitchen. Kitchen with a bar and 2 high chairs to dining/living area. This is NOT a party place! It is MY HOME when you are not here. The fridge and kitchen cabinets may have all sorts of stuff, like spices and condiments. Use what you want. The fire place is electric, with heat if you push an extra button. NOTE! Airbnb is supposed to charge a 13% Washoe County room tax. They have repeatedly failed to do so. Please check and understand that I will have to charge you myself, since Washoe County penalizes me if I do not comply. Incline Village can offer you 2 golf courses, recreation center, tennis courts, beaches, and the local ski hill (Diamond Peak) in the winter. That card belongs to the condo, so remember to leave it there at departure. Far away from all city stress and noise, - you will enjoy yourself and the environment and be rejuvenated in a few days! Close to the Lake and mountains, hugged by the stately pine trees,- you will find your inner peace! The air is so fresh that you literally feel it! Bike and Hike here in the summer! Check Tahoe Rim Trail, which is part of The Pacific Rim Trail. Bike into the mountains or clockwise around Lake Tahoe. (We did it in 9 hours, untrained and on mountain bikes. It is lovely). Hike or camp in Desolation Wilderness. Visit Vikingsholm at Emerald Bay. Snail the roads at Echo summit, and take a hike at Fallen Leaf Lake or go to South Shore for lunch or some poker Ski shuttles close. The local Diamond Peak ski hill is 10 min (website hidden). Rose is 15 min. The others (Heavenly, Squaw, Alpine, Homewood) are 30-40 min away. There are Casinos, show and entertainment all around you! Check the events calendars of the Tahoe region for many spectacular happenings. You are only 45 minutes from 1. Reno (The Biggest Little Town in The World, packed with good shows and reasonable buffets in the casinos) 2. Virginia City (Comstock mining town atmosphere, where “A Bucket of Blood Saloon” is our favorite). On your way over, you may be lucky and see wild horses, so bring then an apple or carrots. 3. South Shore with many casinos and great eating and shopping. There is a beach for you to just stretch out and enjoy the views and your days off. 4. Heavenly with hiking trails, and spectacular views of Lake Tahoe. 5. Squaw Valley with a gondola for spectacular views, good hiking trails, horseback riding, great restaurants and shopping. 6. Truckee, a quaint gold panner's town. This is just a short list. There is much more and events going on all the time, like Balloon Races, Reno Arttown all of July, Street Vibrations motorcycle event, Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor, Hot August nights etc. Check the events calendars of the Tahoe region! There is much more than stunning nature, great hikes, casinos, show and entertainment. There is tranquility and beauty. You will feel it, and hopefully bring it with you when you leave. The NeighborhoodLake Tahoe is a destination you will enjoy, maybe several times? The air is fresh and the sites are stunning. The locals are friendly, after all many of them need you for their business! Besides, the sheltered life in between pine trees and high mountains breed good people. Getting AroundThere are shuttles and regional transportation around the Lake. More so in the summertime, so I suggest you get information from the internet. From the condo, most facilities, shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

The SpaceNorth Lake Tahoe: Sun and Snow. You will be sharing a home with one mature, professional female There are two dogs on the premise. One 11 year brown lab and a three year-old rescue Shepard mix. The lab is a big marshmellow and loves to greet new guests. The rescue is weary of strangers but could grow to love you as she is really a lover at heart. Dogs are not allowed in guest room. Your room is located in a cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath detached duplex in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood of Incline Village - Tahoe's 'banana belt" on the North Shore. I am located 1 block from the Championship Golf Course, 2 miles from the lake and private beaches, and 3 miles to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. I am walking distance to Starbuck's, a grocery store, and fabulous restaurants including Bite and Frederick's Bistro. Incline Village is the gateway to many of the Tahoe north-shore wilderness magic. I am close to Nevada State Park on the East Shore of the lake with its crystal clear waters, life-sized boulders, and pristine lake trails. Inside: Cozy room with private en suite bathroom. Room features a comfortable queen mattress, feather topper, and brand new bedding. You have reasonable use of kitchen to prepare light meals and store food and private garden/patio with hammock and fire pit. Parking available. From my house you can access great walking trails. I like being able to walk to the coffee shop and super market in less than 10 minutes. Getting AroundThe TART bus line is walking distance to my house. It will take you as far West as Homewood on West Shore. You can also take it to Truckee via Northstar transfer. There is a Diamond Peak ski shuttle that is accessible 2 blocks from my house and runs every 15 minutes. You can also take a Northstar, Squaw and Mt. Rose ski shuttle from Hyatt Regency, which is about 1 mile from my house. Other Things to NoteIncline Village is a private community and our beaches require a pass which is available for $12 pp per day. There are great beaches/public access on the East Shore in Nevada State Park. Ask me if you want more info.

The SpaceWe have a 4-story lake view home with two bedrooms on their own private floor each with a queen bed and it's own bathroom. On the same floor is your own living area with surround sound, cable TV. The deck serving this area sits amounst the trees and has a hot tub for your use. Rental includes both bedrooms and the living area for $275 per night. We supply a kettle for making hot drinks, as well as teas and coffee. There is a small fridge and a toaster-style oven. It is helpful to bring a small cooler for taking picnic to the beach in summer. We provide wine glasses, cups, plates and cutlery for 4 people. In the warmer weather, when there is no snow on the ground, the lower floor is accessed by a rather steep, un-even stepped, out-door stair case with no hand-rail, so you do need to be comfortable using this means of entry. Winter guests will enter the lower level using the front door and descending through the main house. We are walking distance to Diamond Peak Ski area and you can walk or bike from the house to dozens of trails. One of our favorite summer hikes is Tunnel Creek. You drive just 5 minites from the house to the start--the location of the old Bonanza TV Movie set location--and then hike to stupendous views of the lake which are visable just a few moments into the hike. We are less than 10 mins to Sand Harbor, home of the Shakespeare Festival in the summer. We can offer many tips for hikes, restaurants and other activities. Guest AccessThere is a door between the main house and this level, so you have your privacy. In the winter, entry to the rental floor is through the main house. You will be required to take your shoes off at the entry. In the summer entry is via outdoor landscape steps, giving you your own private entrance. There is no hand rail on these stairs and they are quiet steep. You should be firm on your feet to descend and ascend these steps. Special arrangements to enter through the main house may be available, but most summer guests prefer their own private entrance. Hot tub on the deck. We provide extra towels and robes for this purpose. Interaction with GuestsWe like to give you your own space and have little interaction unless you have questions. Each day we collect any dishes and glasses used and replace them with clean dishes. Daily maid service for beds and bathrooms is available if you wish for a nominal fee. We can provide appetizers, wine and or beer for a small additional charge. We usually stock the fridge for a light breakfast for your first breakfast. We can accommodate most special dietary needs if you let us know your preference. The NeighborhoodA quiet residential neighborhood with lake views and nice walks. Getting AroundThere is public transport but none very close to the house. Other Things to NoteThere is a locked door between the main house and this level, so you have your privacy. The SpaceThis is our second home so it is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Everyone who stays here enjoys it. And the large 333 square foot wraparound deck with deck furniture and BBQ create an indoor/outdoor experience which makes a big difference in the warmer months. In the winter, our home is very cozy and warm, helped by an efficient pellet stove, great stereo system, cable TV and comfortable furniture, including a seven-seat sectional couch. Kitchen is fully equipped. Guest AccessEverything Lake Tahoe has to offer: boating, swimming, tennis, golf, skiing, hiking, bicycling (rentals nearby). Airbnb's "Guidebook" provides guidance to guests on how to make their time at the Lake the most enjoyable. "10 Best Things To Do at Tahoe" provided upon booking. Interaction with GuestsFull written directions and instructions are provided. We interact with guests only at their initiative or in case of emergencies. We are not present. However, we have an agent at Tahoe to resolve any problems and help in emergencies. The NeighborhoodIncline is a small, lovely upscale village located next to the protected, undeveloped part of the Lake. Wonderful mountain living in a true natural environment. According to Mark Twain, "The air at Lake Tahoe is the air the angels breathe." Getting AroundIn winter, there is a ski bus which stops very close by to take you to Diamond Peak ski area. There are buses run by TART (Tahoe Area Regional Transit) which go around the Lake, and buses from the nearby Hyatt Lake Tahoe to Reno and other destinations including major ski areas. You can walk to the Lake. But to really enjoy Tahoe, you need a car. Free parking in the complex. Parking hang-tags are provided for 2 cars. Other Things to NoteNevada imposes a 13% room tax on all short-term rentals based on the total rental fee. Airbnb collects this directly from guests before occupancy. For rentals of one week or more, we provide a "pass" good for discounts for Incline Village-owned amenities, including the 2 golf courses, tennis center, large recreation center (swimming pool, basketball and workout facility), bowling and skiing at Diamond Peak.

This condo features one bedroom with a queen bed, a charming loft with twin beds overlooking a creek and woods, a cozy woodburning fireplace and soaring beam ceilings. Cable TV, high speed internet, linens included and a full kitchen provide all the comforts of home. For summer guests, we provide you with a pass that allows you access to the Incline Village private beaches (daily resident-rate beach entree fees apply). Sand Harbor, a beautiful public beach, is a 5-minute drive from the condo. Our winter guests enjoy an easy 5-minute drive to the slopes of Diamond Peak for (website hidden). Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Shower, Poker Table, Pool Table, Bumper Pool, Wet Bar and ideally located one block from Burnt Cedar Beach and less than a mile from the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (gaming and entertainment), on beautiful Lakeshore Blvd....this home is perfect for a fun, relaxing getaway. The quartz-floored entryway with soaring ceiling leads to 3 oversized spacious guest bedrooms (queen or king-sized beds), each with panoramic windows and each with its own full private bathroom with tub and shower. In addition, on this guest room level, is a beautiful Swedish sauna that seats 4-6 people comfortably, and a full laundry room. Upstairs, the main level is an open floor plan with beautiful two story high ceilings, a great room area with a large gas burning fireplace that is thermostat controlled. The sliding glass doors at the end of the room open to a deck with an inviting jacuzzi, perfect for soaking in after a day on the slopes or at the beach. The dining area, which is separated from the great room by a granite topped half wall, comfortably seats eight at a beautiful dining table with soft leather covered seats underneath a deer antler chandelier. In addition, there is a full wetbar with granite countertops, built in blender, fridge with icemaker and bar seating for 4, perfectly located for entertaining! The lovely hardwood floored kitchen has a very spacious eating area, with a large dining table (with 2 leaves) that easily seats 6-10 people. There is lots of granite topped counter space and top-of-the line stainless steel appliances. The gas-burning stove, convection/microwave double-oven, trash compactor and two drawer Bosch dishwasher, make cooking and clean-up a breeze! A small foyer area leads to the double-doored master bedroom with its own gas fireplace and gorgeous honed marble master bathroom with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and steam walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. In addition, this floor also has a half bathroom. The stairway off of the kitchen foyer leads you to the upstairs bonus room with a poker table that converts into bumper pool. Incline Village is centrally located (approximately 25 miles) to Heavenly Valley Resort in one direction or Squaw Valley Resort in the other direction. In the Lake Tahoe area there are over 13 ski areas. Cross country skiing or snow shoeing trails are only minutes away. The Lake, Beaches and Tennis Courts: Incline Village has three private beaches and a boat ramp available to renters with recreation passes. Lake Tahoe is less than 1 mile away, just down Country Club Drive. Sand Harbor State Beach is about 5 miles south on HYW 28. The Incline Village Tennis Center offers eleven pristine courts and is located next to the Recreation Center. The I. V. High School has four tennis courts that are open to the public. Interaction with GuestsWe are not present during your stay. The NeighborhoodWe are long-time fans of North Lake Tahoe, especially Incline Village. When this condo became available it was love at first site. The previous owners did a great job on the initial remodel and we've recently upgraded the hardwood flooring (yes, we have showers AND tubs)! We love staying here and hope you do as well. We enjoy the easy location of this condo. You can walk to the lake and casino and there's a shuttle to Diamond Peak that leaves from the complex. If you like to paddle board or kayak, you can launch from Ski Beach or take a quick drive up to Sand Harbor. You're close to everything yet it's peaceful when you want to enjoy time on the wrap around deck with a view of Mt. Rose in the distance. Close to skiing and hiking right up the hill to Diamond Peak resort, a local's place and great for kids or grand kids. As our guests, you can enjoy the private homeowner-only beaches in Incline, which are tranquil and private. Getting AroundIncline is a special town in Tahoe; just enough to do but not the hustle of South Shore or North shore. Close driving distance to the airport in Reno. Also, do not use back deck, snow also sheds on the upper deck. Stains on the carpet are not included in the cleaning fee. Other Things to NoteImportant note on our Pet Policy: we are a pet friendly rental. However, we kindly ask that you limit yourself to a single well trained non shedding dog. Also, please do not abuse our trust and use our casita as a replacement for your doggy daycare. You are expected to return often to the unit and check on your animal. Leaving a pet all day unattended is unacceptable. We are sorry to be so harsh, but this is from past difficult experiences, and our effort to make sure every guest will have the same spotless and great experience here. If you decide that skiing all day without your pet is too much to bear, lookup "pet network" in incline village - for a small fee, they will run your pet around and he/she will be very happy with all the new friends! Also, this is a bear sensitive area. Please try to keep your trash inside the guest house or in bearbox. Even in car is a bad idea.

    The SpaceThe condominium is located on one of the most prestigious areas of Lake Tahoe on the North Shore in the Mountain Shadows Complex. Lake Tahoe is a crystal clear mountain lake surrounded by Sierra Nevada mountain range. Our condo is located just 7/10 of a mile (10 minute walk) from the Hyatt Regency Resort/Casino and the lake. Included is access to Incline Village's private beaches. Both beaches include a snack shack, bar and a beautiful park for the kids to play. Burnt Cedar Beach also includes an Olympic size pool. After a long day at the beach, you can come back to our condo and relax at the private pool and saunas. Our condo is settled in a forest area that you can enjoy while sitting on our two patios (gas BBQ also on patio). In the winter you are very close to the Diamond Peak Ski Area (5 minute drive up Ski Way), and within 30 minutes to many other ski resorts. Our wood fire place will keep you cozy when you return from skiing! Wood is provided. Guest AccessGuest will enjoy two pools with saunas. A wood burning fire place with wood provided. A pass into the two private Incline Beaches are included in your stay! Both beaches are very close by and include snack shacks, bars and parks for kids to play. THE TWO GUEST BEDROOMS DOWNSTAIRS HAVE TWIN BEDS IN ONE ROOM AND A QUEEN SIZE BED IN THE OTHER BEDROOM. IN THE FAMILY ROOM DOWNSTAIRS THERE IS ALSO A FOLD OUT COUCH THAT WILL SLEEP 2. THE UNIT IS DECORATED WITH THE FAMILY ROOM BEING DONE WITH AMERICAN INDIAN MOTIF. THE BEDROOMS DOWNSTAIRS HAVE ONE ROOM BEING A BEAR ROOM, AND THE OTHER BEDROOM BEING A MOOSE ROOM. This is our second home that we share when we're not using it. We hope you will be respectful of the full time owners and keep noise to a minimum. We are on a quiet street, in walking distance to shopping, restaurants, casino and beach. A Recreation Center close by with Olympic-size indoor pool, weight room, basketball court etc. is accessible with a discount with our guest pass. We now have garage doors on the unit.
