The SpaceI have a beautiful, clean and tidy double bedroom, on a 13th floor apartment overlooking the River Thames, with a view of the London skyline. I am going on vacations for the time that the room is available so the guest will share the flat with my beloved housemates (Italian investment banker guy who is really easy going and an Italian Chef girl who works mostly the whole day but when you will find them around you will always feel welcome since they are really pleasant personalities. All these transport links allow you to access most of London very easily and quickly 9' by tube to London Bridge. A Tesco express close to the apartment building allows you to pick up any groceries you may need.

The SpaceI love my small flat on Westferry Road, walking distance to Canary Wharf and close to Greenwich. It's in a 1950s red brick block of flats - not modern at all but East London through and through, in a safe neighbourhood and quick access to touristy locations or indeed anywhere in Zone 1-2. Guest AccessWhen you rent entire flat you have access everything* i.e. bedroom, bathroom, hall, living room, kitchen, balcony (convenient for smokers as smoking allowed ONLY on the balcony). *Certain storage areas and appliances excluded from your access. Interaction with GuestsI'll be available on the phone or sometimes in person to answer questions about the flat or sightseeing / things to do in London. If I'm around I could take one of you to Tate on a free ticket (some exhibitions are really worth it!) or show you around Greenwich, Shoreditch or other parts of London. **For full flat rental I'd ask for full names of all intended guests and ID verification at least one of them and the person making the booking. ***For longer stays I reserve the right to amend cancellation policy to strict. The NeighborhoodIt's a residential area but only a short 10-20 min walk along the river to Greenwich (S) or Canary Wharf (N). A couple of absolutely great pubs around with really good Fish or Pies; It's a good spot to start Thames Path walk west towards The Tower / St Katherine's Docks and beyond or take a river ferry ride to Westminster or all the way to Richmond for a romantic cruise. For photographers there is glass/marble/steel Canary Wharf, old docks & Billingsgate Fish Market, Mudchute City Farm with herds of livestock and equestrian centre, Cutty Sark, Royal Greenwich, Naval College, Royal Observatory & Meridian. If you want to climb O2 Millennium Dome or go to the concert there - it's only 5 mins from Canary. For arty and culture buffs there's max 30 mins to Zone 1 museums Tate, British Film Institute, Shakespeare's Globe, St Paul's Cathedral, V&A and all the touristy stuff London is famous for. Getting AroundEast London Zone 2 means daily travel card up to £8 will get you around all the way from here to Greenwich / Brixton (S), Baker Street / Paddington (NW) or Acton / Putney (W) and all within up to 45 mins. On how to pay for travel on public transport in London go to "tfl dot gov dot uk" website. If you're coming back late at night black cab from Piccalilli will cost you up to £30 only ... or there is a night bus N550 - and though it takes longer it's safe.
