The SpaceOur home is a traditional Victorian family terrace house built in around 1900. It has a pretty, sunny, private garden at the back and has been recently decorated throughout. Guest AccessGuests are very welcome to use the kitchen, dining room and sitting room. You will have access to the wi-fi too. There is a TV in the loft which is connected to an Amazon Fire TV Stick - you can use this to stream programmes from iPlayer, Amazon Prime, You Tube, Netflix (if you have an account) and other streaming sites. Interaction with GuestsI work long hours which means I may not be around much for chatting etc. However, when I am home, I am happy to offer advice / help out with queries and so on. My partner is here a little more and she is more than happy to chat! The NeighborhoodIsleworth is one of London's famous 'villages' and is surrounded by historic sites. This is a quiet suburb of London, close to the river, and within easy reach of beautiful Richmond-upon-Thames (with its sprawling park), Kew Gardens, Twickenham Stadium (within walking distance, with a route that passes The Royal Oak) , Windsor and, of course, Central London. I am also in the perfect location for business travellers to Sky, GSK or West Middlesex Hospital. Getting AroundMy house is within 5 minutes of a mainline train station which has trains running every 15 minutes throughout the day into London Waterloo (these are less frequent in the evenings and at weekends). This journey takes about 35 minutes. There are bus stops close by which can get you to Richmond, Gunnersbury or Hounslow where there are Tube stations. Other Things to NoteThe loft room is accessible via its own staircase and is one large open space. This means that there is not a traditional 'bedroom door'. There is a door at the bottom of the stairs which you can close for privacy, but my partner & I do have to walk through the landing to get to our bathroom. Two of the photos show either side of the small landing at the bottom of the loft stairs to give you an idea of what I mean! There is also a curtain across the bottom of the staircase for extra privacy. I get up very early for work (6:00ish) but will try to be as quiet as I can! Smoking is permitted in the garden - but not hanging out of the Velux window in the loft!
