I live in an ordinary house in an ordinary suburb of Perth ... but have all the delights that you can imagine. On the Darling Scarp, on the eastern edge of Perth, I live with wildlife in my garden, a guinea pig and two hens.
My home is a minutes walk to unique Australian bushland, with a beautiful seasonal display of wild flowers, kangaroos, and the rare and endangered black cockatoos. Walk from here to John Forest National Park, drive to local wineries and restaurants in the Swan Valley, or explore the local townships and national parks in the Perth Hills. Bush walking trails are nearby.
Night life in Perth is easily accessible by car or public transport, so you will find the best of nature and culture is not too far away.
If you love gardening you will be interested in the nature first system unfolding around my house, transforming a European garden into an Australian bush garden.
I have a double room available, with walk in robe and en suite bathroom. Adjoining is a lounge area, with internet available at no extra cost. The Kitchen is well equipped, and part of a cosy open living area heated with a wood fire. A sliding door leads on to a patio with an out door eating area.
I also have two single rooms available, adjoining a sitting area.
