Nestled in 10 acres of woods, our cabin provides a rare blend of country luxury, peace and tranquility. A hot tub under the stars awaits you after a long day on the slopes, mountains or water. There are three porches for star gazing and a large firepit for roasting marshmallows.
Come inside and gather around the woodstove, enjoying the large screen TV, stereo and DVD player, curling up with a book, or playing a game on the dining table fashioned from hand hewn wood felled on the property. The fully equipped kitchen includes a smooth top range, oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and large refrigerator. There is central heat and central air conditioning to make your stay comfortable in all seasons.

The upstairs bedrooms share a beautifully renovated modern bathroom with slate floor and corner shower. There is also a queen size futon in the living room for sleeping by the fire. The back way to Gore Mountain has you there in less than 10 minutes, where you can downhill ski, snowboard, tube, cross country ski or mountain bike. White water rafting is just up the road, less than five miles away. Also, in North River there is the Garnet Mine (yes, you can mine for garnets - it's a blast) and Garnet Hill Lodge for mountain biking and cross country skiing. Farther up Route 28, there is the town of Indian River, the home of great fly fishing, and Blue Mountain Lake, where the Adirondack Museum is located. In the other direction, Lake George is about 20 minutes south, where there is an amusement park and water park, as well as large sandy beach and arcades for rainy days. Off the beaten path is the Mill Creek Recreation Area, a gem in nearby Riparius, or take a train ride from North Creek to Shushan.
