The SpaceOur place is a well designed 2 story house, with all entertaining space, kitchen and laundry plus additional toilet on the lower level. The 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and office which can be used as an additional bedroom if required are upstairs. All the rooms have large windows for natural light, with block out blinds on all the upstairs windows to ensure you get enough sleep despite the early morning sun!
The lower floor has a stand alone air conditioner and gas outlet with gas heater if required. Upstairs has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, keeping it the perfect temperature all year round. There are 2 stand alone fans available for use as well for those hot Perth summer days and nights.
The master bedroom has a lovely kingsize bed and ensuite. The guest bedroom has a double bed with built in robe. The office can be converted to an additional bedroom with an inflatable double mattress, and also has a built in robe.
The dining and living area has an extendable table that can seat up to 12 people, with a well equipped kitchen including pod coffee machine and smoothie machine for all to use.
The TV and entertainment area is separate with wide screen LED/LCD TV, PS4, PS3 and Wii U. All have Netflix installed and set up ready to go. In addition there is a wireless audio system which includes a subscription to Spotify and can be played throughout the house and controlled via your smartphone or tablet.
The laundry has a high quality front loader machine, with dryer set up in the garage if required (Perth rarely rains enough to warrant its use).
There is an undercover outdoor area and a shady uncovered area to relax outdoors in the lovely Perth weather. Candle lanterns can be lit at night to create a cosy quiet outdoor oasis. Guest AccessThe whole house is available for use, however the garage will contain both of our cars. There is ample parking space on the lawn and side of the road with no parking restrictions, so if you have a car this shouldn't be an issue.
There is a cat door in the laundry if you need to bring a pet, but given the newly polished Jarrah floor boards, anything past a very small dog isn't allowed. Interaction with GuestsWe will be putting our house up for use over our holidays, but will be directly contactable with friends and family available to assist you if required. Our neighbours are also extremely friendly and will be able to assist you in an emergency. The NeighborhoodOur house is free standing townhouse on the border of Joondanna and Tuart Hill, on a quiet leafy street which is a close drive to the City, Mt Lawley, Leederville, Mt Hawthorn and Subiaco, as well as a 15 min drive to the beach.
All of these areas have numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas and sites to see, and are all within a 10 dollar Uber/taxi ride or 5 min drive!. Getting AroundWe are a 5min walk from the bus stop, 15 min walk from a train station and 5 min drive to the freeway. All of which gain you access to the main sites of Perth.
