The SpaceThe house was originally built in 1909 by one of Joplin's first municipal judges and was owned by other famous Joplinites throughout it's lifespan. It's got a craftsman style interior with plenty of built-in cabinet space. It has three bathrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. Two large porches, one on the bottom floor and one on the top, perfect for drinking your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Guest AccessYou will have access to the entire house including 1 master bedroom, and 3 guest rooms, upstairs living area, 3 bathrooms, a downstairs living area, dining room, fireplace and sitting area, kitchen, two front porches (one upstairs and one downstairs, a outdoor fire pit, two off-street parking spaces and unlimited on-street parking, and the entire 1/3 acre yard. Interaction with GuestsIf you rent the entire house, we will be away from the home and will mostly be interacting with you over Airbnb or phone unless you need us to stop by for some reason. The NeighborhoodOur historic neighborhood is called North Heights and was originally built by several wealthy families in Joplin's early days. Now it is a mixed low to high income family neighborhood, which makes it a unique transitionary space between the richer Roanoke neighborhood to the north and downtown neighborhoods to the south. Getting AroundYou will also have access to two parking spaces in our driveway and unlimited parking on the street.
