The SpaceNote ** ** You will notice a "cleaning fee" included in check out .. this isn't the actually cleaning. $10 is the B&B Tax which the State of Arizona just started charging on Air B&B rentals. The cleaning fee is just $10. ________ Located conveniently close to town, restaurants, natural grocers, and everything you could need - this space also has the feel like you're in the country side. Elk and deer can be seen in the field across the way, birds of all kinds sing and say hello from nearby trees, and the night sky is rich with shooting stars and fresh clean air ; ) We're far away from the noise of the railway, and backed up to miles of open state land & hiking & biking trails, so you can have an adventure right in your own backyard. Besides the open land, short drive to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, and straight shot to Grand Canyon, the property itself is funky and unique. Partly shared with a salvage contractor, amongst the tall green grass and summer sun flowers, you'll be in the company of old rail cars, 40's & 50's farm trucks, more vintage trailers, and many other western attractions ; ) Great photo ops right here ! This is one of the biggest traveling models - 30 feet X 8 feet. The toilet isn't what you'd normally find in an RV rather a home-style fully flushing unit with no worry of odors, dumping tanks, etc ; ) Most people who will be interested in this are looking for a unique experience, but just keep in mind that this is a space designed ergonomically, snug .. there's lots of open storage and counter space, but please do keep in mind that this is a trailer, designed simplistically and with no unneeded frills. Guest Access The trailer has: a cozy brand new heather, a plush double bed, cute little kitchen, cozy dinner table with fluffy Chevy Bel Air-style benches on each side. The shower has just been plumed with hot on-demand (these spaces are designed for maximum living space, and it has one of those steamer-ship-style toilet and shower all in one room setups.) Fridge, hot plate, microwave, organic coffee & teas for our lovely guests ; ) Interaction with Guests One of the best parts of this space is that it's fully self contained and private ... for less than the price than many shared rooms in people's homes. We'll be around if you need anything, but this will be your little sanctuary for rest & relaxation ; ) The NeighborhoodBeautiful. Open. Natural & Rural ; ) Getting Around4 miles from town - can be walked or biked.

The SpaceMy house offers a quiet getaway in the forest. I am a professional photographer and can direct guests to some pretty amazing local gems. There are limited local amenities, we do have a gas station at the exit and a Subway. There is also a local (cash only) tavern on the Mountainaire side of the exit called the Mountainare Tavern, they have really good food and an "old west" tavern feel. The room capacity is 2 people, requests for accommodating more can not be approved. I do live in the forest about a mile from the highway, so it is quite dark with no street lights. My home is at the bottom of the street. Make sure you have your route mapped out. There is limited to no cell service, Verizon is the only carrier that will pick up any signal. Guest AccessGuests will have access to kitchen and bathroom. Interaction with GuestsI love getting to know new people and new places. Overall time spent with guests will be dependent on my schedule as well as their plans. Due to my work schedule, I am rarely able to check guests in before 5:15pm except on the weekend. The NeighborhoodI love how quiet my home location is. I'm right across the street from a national forest trailhead. We have so many friendly members in this community and the trail is a very popular place for hiking, biking and getting exercise with your dog. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation to my neighborhood you will need to have your own car. Other Things to NoteWhen you request a reservation please include an estimate time of arrival. Not just a place to hang your hat, but a place to hang your dreams, experiences, and create special moments that linger a lifetime. We love the coziness of this place. Your special getaway will begin as soon as you turn off the beautiful and scenic Highway 89A and cross the rustic little bridge over Oak Creek. Families are often seen relaxing, fishing and enjoying the water when the weather is warm. What can be more restful than a babbling creek! The first thing you will notice, as you drive through the winding streets and park at the house, is the extreme quiet of the lush green neighborhood and the chorus of the birds.A bench awaits you on the front porch. This comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath escape has a large, modern kitchen with a dining table for six near the front window, as well as a bar with three stools. Rich dark granite was selected for kitchen and bathroom countertops, and kitchen appliances are stainless steel. Cabinets are hardwood, and the entire home has beautiful wood floors. A washer and dryer are available in a closed area near the kitchen. The cozy living room has a welcoming fireplace with a granite hearth, which matches the other granite in the home. A large, flat-screen TV, Internet, many DVD movies, and a cabinet full of games provide pleasant indoor entertainment. Furniture includes a sofa (with hide-a-bed) as well as an over-stuffed easy chair and large coffee table. A deck with a BBQ grill and table with four chairs adjoins the living room and extends the entertainment area. Breakfast and coffee will certainly be enjoyed here. Behind the deck is a short walk through the lush green landscape, passing a large swing suspended from the trees. The trees are a mix of evergreen and deciduous, creating an especially stunning display of color in the fall. A short and easy walk leads to a path going directly down to the creek. Our neighborhood has been described as "Hobbitville" - you will cross Oak Creek and then enter our subdivision. The cottage is surrounded by large canyon walls on the east and west and also mature trees. A very serene setting for relaxation and escape.
