The SpaceThis space you used to be occupied by students from University of British Columbia, Vancouver. After realizing that they enjoyed their stay with us, we decided to have it available for others who might enjoy staying with us.
The space is two rooms with big closets. the rooms are really huge that if you have big backpacks or anything, you will have space for them and still have enough comfortable space for you.
the floor has nylon floor mats in front of both beds. And we can add more lights (such as bedside ones) if you need.
we have a distilled water machine, so you won't have to buy water to drink whether at home or somewhere else. Guest Accesswe don't have limit on where you can access and where you can't. Interaction with GuestsBecause we are a family, our son will probably be trying to talk to you in his "baby language".( he doesn't speak yet).
It will all depend on you. We like to interact as much as possible, but without being in your personal space. we highly respect your privacy and you are really encouraged to let us know how you feel.
If you will be using the space for work, we will try our best to make a conducive environment for your work and ZERO noise will be a must. The Neighborhoodthe place is in middle of everything. Good restaurants in 10-20 min walk or moto ride. Depending on your taste, we will recommend you place that we think you will enjoy and we will help you get there, the best we can.
This neighbourhood is really safe. It is walkable any time of the night/day. it is calm and after 10 pm there is almost no traffic noise you can hear. So it is good for your good sleep or calm night. Getting AroundThe place is 10 minute walk to the main city centre of Kigali. And 5 minutes moto ride to the Nyabugogo taxi park (which is used when you want to bus to Uganda, or other parts of Rwanda). Other Things to NoteBecause, again, we have had two different groups of students from Canada living with us, we know many things/tips/etc on how to navigate through Kigali and how to have a great experience in Rwanda.
During your stay with us, we will make sure that you can call us at any time for any thing; whether on how to get a moto ( we can talk to a moto guy and discuss the price and give him where to take you to, and you just hop on the moto and you are at you destination), or on where to go for the night-out.
Our promise will be to be there for you at any moment of the day and night, any time you need us.
The other thing is, we know you will most like travel to different parts of the country, we will help you with getting there (buying a ticket to and from, and if need be, helping you find a place to stay at in that other place)
I think it is necessary that i mention that we don't JUDGE. We respect each and everyone in our every possible power.
