The SpaceOur house has 4 twin bed rooms, two hot showers and two water toilets. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, where the guests can cook themselves, or we provide them with a local chef who cooks delicious meals. The house contains dining area and a large sitting area with an open fire.
The house has a veranda where guests can enjoy lovely views over local area and the mountains belonging to the Ngorongoro Crater area. In the evenings the guest have the option to sit outside, enjoying the tranquility of the area and the view of the night sky.
The farm is operated environmental friendly; we produce our own electricity with solar panels, but we are also connected to the electrical grid. Our water is fresh from a borehole and heated by a solar water heater. Guest AccessEvery bed has a duvet with clean bed-sheets and clean towels. The showers have soaps and shampoo. The guests are welcome to use everything in the house and are in fact encouraged to act as if the house was there home. Interaction with GuestsThe guesthouse is designated for travelers. We have another building where the farmer of TanzaNice Farm lives. There are 4 people working on the farm, and when guests are present, we add staff as needed. The accommodation manager, Restituta, and the farmer, Mathias, both speak English and are more than happy to assist guests. The NeighborhoodTanzaNice Farm is located in Bashay Village, a suburb of Karatu town. It is easily accessible, within a walking distance from Karatu town, however far enough from the noise of a busy town. When you are located at the Farm, you are close to the local farmers with whom you can interact with. Next to our Farm we have built a kindergarten for children in the age of 4 to 6 years and you are welcome to visit the kindergarten and if you wish to participate in some of their activities, you are most welcome to do so. The children love it when guests stop by.
Our Farm is a wonderful place, where you can experience tranquility and refill your batteries. You can freely walk around the Farm which covers 15 acres and pick ripe fruits at your leisure. If we are harvesting, you are more than welcome to participate. Getting AroundRestituta, the accommodation manager, is more than happy to assist you to find an appropriate way of transportation. You can walk to town, use a motorbike, Bajadi, local bus or a taxi. Other Things to NoteThe owners of the Farm are actively involved in several projects to improve the infrastructure of this society, where big proportion of the population lives in poverty. The most recent project is "Women Power Africa" which has the aim to empower women and support them in establishing new businesses.
