Two bush style cottages, situated in a beautiful remote area in South Luangwa, Zambia. This is a paradise for the adventurous self drive tourist appreciating an abundance of wildlife, adore fishing with stunning views from their chalet. Get a true bush camp experience with your own twist and your own car or hire a gamedrive car with or without a guide.
The two bush styled cottages are overlooking the Luangwa River. Cottages offer you a luxury beds for four (or two), shower, sink, toilet and a side room. In total, we can accommodate 8 guests. The cottages are about 50 mtrs from each other and you will find an outside shared and thatched kitchen with freezer and kitchen facilities. Lights are on solar.
You come with your own (rental) car, bring your own food and drinks.
The area is full of wildlife. You will see hippo's and crocs from your cottage in the river and many other animals (like elephants, giraffes, pukus, impala, bushbuck, waterbuck) nearby. The entrance of the South Luangwa Park is not far, but you will enjoy wildlife as much in the Park as you will around you.

Malama Umoyo is within the Lower Lupande Area, about 40km from Mfuwe and 130km from Petauke. From both sides you can reach Malama Umoyo, which is in the Malama Chiefdom. The area is still unspoiled, wild, remote and without tourists. Here you will find a true wildlife experience, with Malama Umoyo as your camp in the bush. Nearby is the entrance to the park, but also in Malama you will see many many animals, see the Chindeni Hills and hot water springs. Driving from either Petauke or Mfuwe to Malama is a once in a lifetime experience.
