Walk or drive the road up Knox to see the vista of Okanagan Lake spread beneath. One trail leads to Paul's Tomb a lovely, secluded swimming hole. The nature trail up Knox Mountain allows for a stunning site to photograph all of Okanagan Lake. Parking available and free directly in front of the house. Very safe and secure neighbourhood. Room is 159.5 square feet. wifi, and use of laundry facilities. Quiet house with no pets or children. Shared use of kitchen. Towels and wash cloths provided. Bathrobe provided. Slippers provided. Twenty minute walk to downtown Kelowna, within an hour of Big White Ski Hill, ten minute walk to Okanagan Lake. Near live theatre, movie theatres, restaurants, art gallery and coffee shops. Ideally situated close to lakeshore with a swimming and sun bathing beach. In winter, a public ice skating out door arena is within 20 minutes walk with a skate rental truck next to it. Enjoy the stars on a night skate. Three minutes walk from bus route which leads to the bus depot, the Orchard Park Mall or transfers to wineries. Bike rental shops are available just a few blocks away from the bnb. Kelowna's cultural district is a 15 to 20 minute walk away or three minute walk to the bus.The tourist centre is a twenty five minute walk away or connected by bus. The Okanagan Wine Museum is a twenty minute walk away and can familiarize you with all local wineries. Tree Brewing and Sandhill winery are within an easy walk. Ski hill shuttle is near by. The area is quiet, serene and an historical enclave of houses built from 1946 to 1950. Getting AroundThe bus is a three minutes walk away at the end of the street and travels throughout Kelowna including to the large Orchard Park Mall area. Other Things to NoteKelowna is Canada's palm springs. It is an all seasons play ground with water sports, hiking, biking, winter skiing and snow shoeing. Five multiplex movie theatres provide a range of viewing experiences.

The SpaceIn a word: serenity. The home itself is located in a quiet, forested area of Lake Country directly on the lake--a town just minutes north of Kelowna. It's a great vacation escape from the noise. The SpaceGolf, wine tours, hiking trails, sporting events, concerts, shopping, ski hills, great food and beaches. The Okanagan has a lot to offer and our home is right in the middle of it all! We are offering the basement suite in our home, in a safe family community near downtown Kelowna. This is a self contained basement suite with a private entrance, 3 pc private bath (shower only), kitchen features: 2 burner stove (no oven), sink, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge, toaster, blender and eating island. Dishware & utensils provided. Coffee, teas, and bottled water provided. Linens, towels, Iron and board, hair dryer, beach towels, beach chairs, small cooler supplied. The sleeping and living quarters are open concept (one large room) with a super comfy queen size bed, sectional sofa, 42 inch flat screen TV, Shaw cable, DVD player, good selection of movies, HDMI cable hookup and free wifi. Part of the charm of this suite is limited ceiling height (between kitchen and living quarters ceiling drops to 6' otherwise the suites ceiling height is about 6.5'). Our private yard features an amazing 40+ foot willow tree which provides incredible shade on hot summer days. Relax in the hammock or hammock chair and read, enjoy your favorite cocktail or wine or just enjoy watching the willow "dance" in the breeze. You can enjoy our large shared deck with BBQ and loungers – or soak in the hot tub and you can feel the stress just melt away. There is air conditioning throughout the home. Laundry service upon request (extra fee). Free on street parking only. We look forward to hosting you at our little oasis "Kelownaville". The SpaceIt's a newly renovated 3 bd house with 2 queens and 1 bunk bed in the 3rd room. The top bunk it a twin and the bottom bunk is a double! Hardwood and tile through out with a nice open layout. Lots of counter space for cooking. Comes with all cooking gear and a new BBQ! BBQ Netfix Internet Coffee maker (and stuff to make coffee) Tea and a kettle provided I'll meet to swap keys and answer any questions you guys have! I know all the best places to eat and drink or visit. I also know some great wineries to check out. Very close to town in a quiet safe area (5-10 minute walk to town and beach). Public Transit is close but you can walk most places! Netflix is included! Fans in each room! Coffee and tea included! Internet! Guest AccessPrivate backyard with BBQ and patio area The whole house. My role is to provide you with information and suggestions as to how your stay can be most interesting. The NeighborhoodThe North End of the city is a quiet village. It was built from 1946 to 1950 for the returning war veterans. It housed the mostly Italian workers who ran the fruit packing factory, the mill and was a close knit community. Friday the rugs were rolled back and the house with the upright piano became a community dance hall. Children and older people danced with parents. Getting AroundThe transit line is three minutes from the house and runs every 20 minutes. If you prefer to walk down Ellis, you will arrive at the central bus terminal on Queensway in 20 minutes. Everything is within easy walking distance: vintage clothing, vinyl records, dinner theatre, a variety of restaurants, a four screen theatre, coffee shops and in the summer street performers. Other Things to NoteThe backyard deck and stone patio are available. A barbeque is available for guests use. The 50 year old Maple tree is magnificent and provides shade in summer.

The living room and the bedroom are fitted with flat-screen TVs with cable channels. The Suite is heated and air conditioned. The Westside Wine Trail is home to some of the oldest and most well established vineyards and wineries in the Okanagan Valley. The "Big White" ski area is 75 km away. During the snow season you can catch a shuttle bus nearby going to Big White every Fri, Sat and Sun. Search for "Big White Express-bus".

The SpaceOur Vacation Rental is located in the Prime area of Kelowna, across the street from Boyce Gyro Beach Park, which features, beautiful sandy beaches, green space, play area, Volley Ball area, water rentals, walking paths, concessions. We are approx. 3 minute walk to Rotary Beach which also features the same amenities as Gyro but just smaller and no Volley ball area. Both Beaches are beautifully maintained. We are walking distance to boat rentals, bike, and water rentals of all kinds. We are also steps to shopping, markets, pubs, boutique, Art Gallery's, grocery shopping, just steps away. We are also 45 minutes from Big White Ski resort- come stay, and we can arrange a shuttle to and from ski resort. Not every one skis or snow boards, so stay here in Kelowna, and enjoy night life, and theatre or have a message at one of our local Spas or fine or casual dining, that way everyone can have a holiday. Kelowna is one of very few places that you can spring ski or snow board in the morning, and come back enjoy around of golf, or boat on the Lake in the afternoon. The Okanagan Valley is on a desert belt, so we are lucky to have nice hot weather starting in April to October. No place like it, a hidden Gem... If you have a large group we are exclusive with a Wine Tour company, that also will take you and drop you off, if you want to have a few drinks and the group wants to be all together. Transit is not a problem in Kelowna. Other Things to NotePlease review cancellation and Rental agreement or ask for a copy from Host/Owner. Any stag or stagette that is not approved by homeowner, can be ask to leave property without any refund, except damage deposit. If stag or stagette has been approved and guest agrees to house rules and signs, there will be an increase nightly rental to $1725 (including tax) a $1500 damage deposit and a $500 cleaning fee due upon arrival. We can arrange Wine and Beer/Spirit tours, get you into the best night club in town no standing in line, private bottle service arranged with night club owner. Pick up and drop off - with a large Van. Have fun but be respectful to home, neighbors and surrounding area, we will not hesitate to ask you to leave if customer does not comply to House Rules...

The SpaceThis recently renovated basement suite has new carpet, real hardwood floors, granite countertops and most recently new windows. Newly purchased Smart TV so you can enjoy Netflix or surf the 'net. There is a kitchen in the basement with a fridge, stove, microwave and a Keurig machine with an assortment of coffee and tea. The suite does come with cutlery, plates, cups... There is a new queen bed in the bedroom and futon in the living room. The bathroom is an ensuite. Washer and dryer are located outside of the suite, you will need to ask to use them. Guest AccessThe guests are welcome to use the BBQ and the patio set in the backyard. But please clean up after yourself. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is quiet and close to all amenities. 1/2 block from the hospital, 2 blocks to the beach, 10 minutes to the unique Pandosy shopping area. Getting AroundThere is free parking in the rear of the house. Other Things to NoteFresh towels and linens are supplied with every rental.

The SpaceThe space in my basement had a reno in 2007, It is cozy and clean. The back entrance comes into the house on a common landing and can be used to go downstairs to your room or upstairs to the main body of my home. Guests can easily bypass my living quarters as they enter and leave the house. The bedroom is located in a basement but is bright and cheery. It also has a large common area with TV, couches and space to relax. Guest AccessThe guests are welcome to share use of my back yard which is private and relaxing and filled with many flowers( in spring , summer and fall of course) Also private arrangements can be made to use owners barbeque if needed. I have provided a refrigerator,coffee pot and microwave for guests. If you have bikes I have a separate free standing garage for storage while you are my guest. If you are traveling extended periods of time and require laundry you can use my washer \dryer \clothes line but must provide your own soap and be considerate of others in the house. Please ask me before doing laundry. Interaction with GuestsI live in the main part of the house and am very happy to chat with guests offer information on events in town and assist with any directions needed. I love to garden and often found outside doing just that. I am retired and love to walk , hike and have seasons tickets to theater and hockey. The NeighborhoodI love that my street is very close to downtown. It is a small quiet residential street. I frequently walk to the cities cultural district,coffee shops, beaches or a stroll on the waterfront. It is 20 min walk to the hospital and 20-30 min to the beach or downtown. There is a grocery store and a dairy queen 5 minutes away. Even though it is a quiet street within minutes I can be on one of the cities main grids. Breakfast is continental; bread, muffins or bagels,yogurt, and fresh fruit., coffee and juice. Getting AroundThere several streets close by with city bus connections. You can walk and or bike almost any where from my street . It is a easy and flat no hills, perfect for walking, jogging and great for bikes. Other Things to NoteI have been renting my extra space out for a couple of years. I enjoy people and am used to sharing my kitchen and laundry facilities in this way. I also have another bedroom in the basement that is reserved for family. Once in awhile I have the two bedrooms rented out for BNB . If I do not have family visiting I will consider renting that space for 2 more people. It is listed as the brown room. If it is marked unavailable please ask me about it because I would prefer to have either families or friends who know each other share the area. It may be available just ask.please be aware when renting the green room that the brown room may also be rented and then the bathroom, common space, small appliances and bar fridge sre shared.

The SpaceOur extra-large suite is perfectly located across from a beach access in a private garden setting. If staying after labour day, please ask about our off-season pricing. Enjoy fine dining, beaches and trails all in short walking distance. Wineries, Gyro beach and DT are just minutes away. This suite is perfect for one couple or a family. There is a very comfortable Queen bed in the bedroom, as well as a high quality futon. The bedroom also has 2 bookcases, a dresser, desk and wall-length closet, and there is still plenty of room for a packaway crib if needed (available upon request). In the huge living room, enjoy plenty of seating, a flat screen TV with premium cable and video game systems, a fooseball table, and more room for a blow up queen mattress. A full size W/D is located in the closet. Enjoy many meals at home in the complete kitchen. There is a reasonably sized fridge and freezer, microwave, ice maker, and blender. There is no longer a full-size range/oven, but you will not be limited by what you can cook on the countertop toaster oven that can accommodate two 12" pizzas or rotiserie a small chicken. Long weekends require a 3 night minimum booking and regular weekends are a 2 night minimum stay unless agreed by the host. Please no more than 4 adults above the age of 18. Maximum 14 night stay. The SpaceWe have two large bedrooms in a large, bright basement suite with lots of windows. We give a discount if you book both bedrooms at the same time. Shared bathroom, kitchen & living room.
