Overlooking cook inlet and cannery road beach you will find our Inn, nestled in amongst the many acres of protected wetlands. Queen sized bed with private sitting area, dining and additional sleeping loft with twin bed. Small private bath with standup shower. Stocked with light continental breakfast, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and small freezer for your catch. For additional guests a queen sized futon can be made up. Enjoy your coffee on the private patio which catches the morning sun. This second floor suite with private outside entrance offers the best view in the house! We like to call the suite the Eagles Nest as eagles often gather near the window. There is a covered porch and stairway to the suite's entrance which is a great place to take your fishing gear off. Parking is provided for guests and their toys at the bottom of stairway. One of Kenai's most prestigious neighborhoods. The only area in Kenai which offers unobstructed ocean views without bluff frontage. From Ocean View Inn Kenai, the beach is a short leisurely 10 minute walk. No bluff to bravely scale! Just follow the road and the gravel path straight to our miles of sandy beach! Watch our huge tides, and see what ocean creatures you can find! Eagles find our great "Dr. Seuss" tree to be a wonderful roosting spot, and moose find the wetlands in front of Ocean View Inn Kenai an excellent birthing grounds. While we have all the adventure of "Alaska's Great Outdoors" we are still close to Kenai (5 miles), (website: hidden) (8 miles) and Kasilof (13 miles)

Interaction with GuestsWe are life long residents of the Kenai Peninsula and have raised our family hiking, biking and fishing the area. If you have any questions or need advice on your adventures please don't hesitate to ask. We are always just a phone call or text away. The NeighborhoodOur property is located on a quiet street overlooking the Lower Kenai River. In our back yard is an active beaver pond so if you watch during the morning and evenings you will probably see them doing their chores or chowing on the reeds on the edge of the pond. Do not approach the beavers as they are not as friendly as they may appear. Other Things to NoteWe are a pet friendly family and understand that pets are part of our guests families as well. Please contact us in advance and we will go over our extremely liberal pet policy. If you do bring a pet please keep them in sight at all times as the local moose that frequent the yard are not as accommodating.

                  Cabin
With breathtaking views of the Kenai River Mouth, Beach and Cook Inlet, this newly remodeled cabin is in the perfect location. Situated in the heart of the peaceful and picturesque Kenai Old Town, you will be within easy reach of all amenities, whilst still being a few minutes’ walk from the beach and river mouth. The cabin has a luxurious sleeping loft (ladder access only) with a California King sized bed, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also provide an inflatable mattress and bedding for use in the living area. The cabin has a front porch and outdoor furniture, for you to sit and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Beluga whales can sometimes be spotted in the Inlet. We are in a fantastic spot for dip net fishing, and the cabin is fitted with an outdoor fish cutting table and chest freezer. Note: We have no means of disposing of fish carcasses from the property. The City of Kenai requires that fishermen dispose of fish carcasses in the water at the beach. Secondary processing, washing, vacuum sealing and freezing of fish fillets can be done outside the cabin, which is equipped with a covered, lit, outdoor area with running water, power, a fish cutting table and small chest freezer. However, fish may only be brought INSIDE the building for cooking, small amounts of filleted fish only. ALL fish processing must take place outside, using the facilities provided. Any sign or odor indicating fish processing has taken place inside the cabin will put 100% of your damage deposit at risk. It is not our intent to withhold your damage deposit but you are NOT allowed to bring fish into the cabin! And if you chose to ignore this rule you may sacrifice 100% of your deposit.
