The SpaceLuxurious, light-filled 2 bedroom top floor apartment with generous top floor level 8 balcony overlooking the golf course and the city. The apartment is located in the popular near-city district of Kensington, right next to the bustling restaurants and nightlife of Surrey Hills. Regular buses reach the 4 km to the city with ease, and just downstairs via the elevator and a short walk, you can find Moore Park Supa Centre for shopping. Walking distance to the beautiful Centennial Park, Moore Park golf courses, and Randwick Racecourse. It is a 10 minute drive to Coogee Beach, and not much further to spectacular Bondi beach. Whether you want to visit Sydney Harbour or the East Sydney beaches, this location is close to both! The apartment is modern and beautifully fitted, with extraordinary lighting and natural light, slate and wood floors, glass windows looking out across the quiet greens, a unique designer bathroom and kitchen with granite bench, 2 large bedrooms (main BR with balcony and view), a laundry, and brand new carpets and paint. The balcony fronts the whole apartment in a sun drenched northern aspect and features a 270 degree view of the green leafy suburbs and all the way to the city skyscrapers. The complex includes a sizeable swimming pool inside the secure gardens grounds. The kitchen contains a dishwasher, oven, fridge, microwave, giant stone bench, and coffee machine. There is a gas BBQ on the balcony for summer cook-ups. The SpaceFully furnished, clean and tidy bedroom available in a modern 2-bedroom unit on a high floor. What this means for you, is you have a nice breeze come through to lull you to sleep at night, in a most relaxed and comfortable environment, which ultimately means you get to spend your energy exploring this beautiful city and meeting new people. :) It is in a very convenient yet quiet location in Kensington, so you can get to the places of interest quickly and hassle-free, which ultimately translates into you spending your precious time with the new friends you make, sipping a nice latte in a trendy cafe, hanging out at the beach, visiting the Sydney Opera House and climbing the Harbour Bridge! :) I live here so it is a fully equipped living space. The apartment has a gas stovetop, oven, good-sized fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, TV, DVD player and separate internal laundry with washing machine. There is a drying rack on the airy balcony where you get a lovely, unobstructed beautiful city view, including one of the world-famous Harbour Bridge. What all this means for you, is you get to enjoy all the creature comforts of home as you travel, and essentially that means you absolutely get to savour the delights of Sydney in the best way possible, giving you entertaining stories to share with your family and friends! :) Surrounded by an abundance of greenery, nestled next to the Moore Park Golf Club. In my humble opinion, this is one of the best places to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks across the horizon, which means you can do that from the comfort of home if you wish, and not have to contend with a huge crowd all trying to get home after the fireworks. Ultimately, that means you can delight in the spectacular colourful fireworks displays and cross over into the new year with time and peaceful surroundings to contemplate how this new year will be different for you, what new dreams you will achieve and how you will get to know yourself even more and grow. :) I put together the furniture and decorations in this apartment, and I love this space I call home. For me it is a source of inspiration, a space for expression of creativity - both inside and outside of the kitchen - and a place for connection, to myself, my family and my friends. I am certain you will absolutely have a comfortable and enjoyable stay here. A home away from home. Fresh bed linen and towels provided. Also a choice of good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. That means you will not need to worry about running out of anything. Essentially that means you can just concentrate on having fun and making new friends while you are here. :) High-speed wifi available at no extra charge. I have travelled to many different places and always love returning to this place I call home, for so many reasons. I am sure you will enjoy the city of Sydney and have a pleasant stay at my apartment. I am most happy to answer any questions you may have about the apartment & Sydney, so please feel free to ask. :) Guest AccessYou will have private access to your bedroom. Shared areas: kitchen, lounge room, bathroom, laundry, balcony. Interaction with GuestsMy days vary and I could be out and about, training, catching up with friends or watching a performance, or I could easily spend an entire day at home, on my laptop or curled up with a good book. I am always happy to engage and have a tea/coffee/chat with my guests. I have had a wonderful time once, chatting with a guest till it was close to sunrise. I am also equally glad to simply go about my own things and allow my guests their own space. It is easy for me either way :) The NeighborhoodClose to the Centennial Parklands - a great place to have a picnic, cycle, horse-ride, read a book, feed the swans or simply have a nap and enjoy nature. Feel like a movie? Fox Studios and The Entertainment Quarter are just a very short bus ride or about 20-minutes walk away. Moonlight cinema at Centennial Park is also open from mid December to mid March. A fun way to spend a summer evening at an open-air cinema catching the latest flick or a well-loved classic. I personally love going to the Randwick Ritz on Tuesdays for a movie fix :) It is only a jump, hop and a skip to the ever-popular Coogee and Bondi Beachs, major shopping centres in Bondi Junction, and boutique shops in Paddington and Paddington Markets, Randwick, Paddy's Markets, Chinatown, Surry Hills shopping and restaurants. The apartment is about 2.5km to the trendy restaurants on Crown Street in Surry Hills, and about 4km to Town Hall. I often enjoy a walk into the city if I have nothing else on. :) I love spending my Saturday mornings at Darlinghurst for brunch, then a stroll down Oxford Street to Paddington markets. You can often find me at the Marrickville Organic food markets on Sunday mornings for my weekly shop and coffee with friends. Plenty of local restaurants to eat at and get take-away in my neighbourhood. Gourmet pizza within 10 minutes walk, or free home delivery. Asian grocery shops within walking distance. Also University of New South Wales (UNSW), National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Randwick TAFE Institute and the exclusive Australian Golf Club. Kingsford's many asian eateries and shops are also not far away. This is a safe and quiet neighbourhood and in a really convenient location close to the city, other interesting suburbs and nature all around. Getting AroundKensington is a safe and quiet neighbourhood and a really convenient location close to the city, other interesting suburbs and nature all around. Only 4-5km from the CBD. Buses to/from the city are just a 2-minute walk away. A beautiful apartment with an amazing city view! 15 minutes' drive from the Sydney airports. Plenty of buses, including metro and express buses. Bus to Central/Circular Quay/Leichhardt/Drummoyne/La Perouse and more. The CBD and Central Railway Station are about 15 minutes away by bus. 10 minutes on express buses and by car. 20 minutes to the iconic Sydney Opera House and Botanical Gardens, and ferries to Taronga Zoo and Manly Beach. Depending on where and how frequently you are planning to travel, you can purchase a weekly pass (valid for 7 days from the date of first use) or a travelten (allows 10 trips on the pass, no expiry). Both will possibly save you money compared to paying per trip. The travelten is 20% cheaper than if you pay for ten trips separately. There is also the Opal card - simply put as much credit as you like on it - you will need to tap your card once when you board a bus, then again before you alight. This works on all modes of public transport - bus, train and ferry. When you run low on credit, just top it up again in-store or online. Some buses are pre-paid only during weekdays 7am to 7pm so you will need to have a ticket before you board the bus. Tickets can be bought from train stations and also most news agencies. Kensington Supermarket is right across the street where you can catch a bus into the city, and I buy my passes and Opal card from there. It is open till midnight Monday - Friday, and 11pm on weekends. For more travel information, you can look up (URL HIDDEN) Instead of catching a taxi, you can also download an app called "Uber". It works like a taxi service but instead of taxis you will get a ride in a private car, and you can see the estimated fare before booking. It will be cheaper than cabs. You can also select the type of vehicle you would like. I absolutely enjoy driving, so if you would like a lift somewhere, please feel free to check with me if I am available to take you there in my convertible MINI :) You can use the fare estimate on Uber to remunerate me ;) There is plenty of free on-street parking, if you should decide to drive. I sometimes also enjoy having some company when I do my grocery shopping, if you would like to tag along ;) Other Things to NoteBreakfast is included - healthy muesli/oats, wholemeal/white bread and milk. I also have a variety of tea and coffee, which you are welcome to help yourself to, as well as cooking oils, spices and sauces. Do have a look at the top shelf of the pantry cupboard - there are always plenty of goodies to be shared :) I now have filtered, fluoride-free, delicious-tasting water at home :) Please help yourself to it! :) For your convenience and security, there is a small safe in your room which is free for your use. For stays over 5 nights, laundry once a week is included. Thank you for checking out my place and I hope to host you soon! ^____^

The SpaceMy apartment has a north-facing living room with lots of light. It is located on a hill, so it's nice and breezy if you open the windows. The bedroom has a large window on the east side, looking over the lush Randwick Race Course, a desk and a double bed (plus some other bits and bobs, like a coat rack). Guest AccessKitchen: Adjacent to the living area, it is spacious and equipped with a medium-sized refrigerator, oven, food processor, etc. all of which you are more than welcome to use. Living Area Bathroom Balcony Interaction with GuestsI love talking to and meeting new people, so let me know whatever you need and I'll see what I can do to help (I'll be staying in the other bedroom in the apartment). But if you prefer more privacy, that's fantastic too; I'd rather you feel comfortable and at home here. The NeighborhoodOne of the places I always recommend to eat out here at is Sushi Tengoku, which is located only a 3 minute walk from the apartment. If you feel like a night out but don't want to go to the City, you can always catch a quick bus ride to The Spot in Coogee, a popular spot for students living in the area, for dinner, movies, late night snacks, you name it. I myself am a vegan, and I highly recommend the vegan burger joint, Soul Burger, located in The Spot. Getting AroundFor parking, my garage is free for you to use. Because of the proximity to the University of NSW, a lot of buses are running from early in the morning until very late. Direct buses to most surrounding suburbs are accessible from nearby bus stops. Other Things to NoteIt's a two-bedroom apartment with one bathroom, one living area and a kitchen, so you will be sharing these spaces with me apart from your bedroom.
