The SpaceWe have over 12 miles of groomed scenic trials. The rental building has a beautiful kitchenette, bathrooms, mess hall, two bedrooms with 12 beds each, a covered pavillion and group campground that can accomodate groups over 100. Set in a Nature Center where there are lakes, lookout towers, boardwalks, and so much nature to enjoy.
This is a rustic camping campground without RV access. Guest AccessGuests will have exclusive use of the Retreat Center, pavillion and campground with rental. Sleeping in one of the 24 beds in the retreat center is just fine for guests who don't desire "camping out." Very secluded with access to several miles of public trails, a natural interpretation center, snowshoe rentals in the winter and an abundance of wildlife on the 135 acre preserve. Interaction with GuestsOur process is very much self service, with no housekeeping, foodservice or front desk services. We prefer to leave our guests to their special getaway, but are always only a phone call away. The NeighborhoodCamp Lilys is nestled in the north end of a secluded and remote natural preserve, there are a few private residences bordering the property, but the retreat center is tucked back in the woods where guests can enjoy their stay with a level of privacy and seclusion. Getting AroundThere is no public transit this far north of Grand Rapids, guests would be required to have their own vehicles. That said, Grand Rapids is only 40 minutes away, the lakeshore is also 40 minutes away. Other Things to NoteThe Kitchenette does not currently have a stove/oven, this is expected in Early July to be installed so guests should plan accordingly for their visit. Plenty of firepits for outdoor cooking. Only 10 minutes down the road are two supermarkets, multiple restaurants and gas stations. Check in is 4pm, please message me to coordinate your check in (accomodations can be made to check in earlier upon request in many cases). Check out is remote and must take place by 11am on your departure day.
