The SpaceA Victorian terrace with period charm and modern convenience. Enhanced by natural light, period features, high ceilings with ceiling roses, wide skirting, panelled doors and open fire places. It includes an arched hallway, 1 bedroom, living room, well appointed galley style kitchen opening to family room, and bathroom with unique sunken bath. A pretty rear garden ideal for outdoor living. The rear section of the house was designed by architect A. Cronin and completed in 1983. It is a timeless fresh, light filled design with cathedral ceilings and windows a plenty. It looks current and contemporary. It is a very long skinny house that I lovingly refer to it as "the pencil." Guest AccessGuests will have access to 1 x bedroom, formal lounge, kitchen, bathroom, family area including dining, and front and rear garden areas. The NeighborhoodIt is walking distance to the Kew Junction shops, cafes and restaurants. The Kew Recreation Centre is at the top of the street along with bus and tram stops on each side of the street. The Yarra river and parklands are a beautiful 10 minute walk away, and within the area you can do bush walking, hire row boats and play golf. We have wonderful providores, restaurants and cafes. I recommend Leo's fine food, Toscanos, Laurent bakery, cocoa patisserie, Via Verona for grocery, bakery goods and sweet treats. Restaurants; Mister Bianco, Centonove, Estivo, Charcoal Grill on the Hill, Hellentic Republic. Cafes; Ora Cafe, Percys Aeroplane, The Salmon Shop, Lil Boy Blue, Xocolatl (they make the most delicious hand made chocolates - truly special). Getting AroundThe tram runs along High Street which is a short walk to the top of our street. It is the 48 line, it goes out to Box Hill or into the city along Bridge Road (Richmond) into the CBD along Collins Street. A ride to the city should take approximately 30 minutes depending on the time of the day. The bus stop is just up from the tram stop. This also goes to the CBD. It goes through the Kew Junction, along Johnston Street, into Lygon Street (the heart of our Italian restaurant district) and along Russell Street. This is a faster trip to the city than the tram.

The SpaceThe master bedroom with ensuite in this three bedroom apartment is huge. Includes a queen sized double bed, private ensuite and French balcony. Includes basic breakfast (cereal, milk, juice, tea & coffee) and Wi Fi. Easy access to trams and cafes. Though its 3 bedrooms, it is only Tamaki and me. We are foodies. In fact Tamaki is a chef who runs tasting nights around Melbourne. So we enjoy being able to help guests indulge their senses whilst in Melbourne. From coffee to cheese, from Japanese to Italian - we know where to go (for top dollar or on a budget). The guest bedroom is the Master bedroom of the home. So it is very large. You can open two suitcases on the floor at the same time. It is a roomy place with open spaces to share like the kitchen, dining area and balcony. We provide a basic breakfast with cereal, milk, juice, tea & coffee. There is fridge space for you, and the kitchen is full of sauces, spices, butter, oils, etc that you are welcome to use to spice up cooking for yourself. Your room includes a private ensuite bathroom with toilet just for you. We provide bath towels as well. As travellers we like to talk to other travellers. So we like to catch up over a drink or meal when time permits. Our aim is to help you make the most out of your time in Melbourne by using our local knowledge. Kew is an old suburb with lots of churches. Very safe and with a village feel, it is Inner East, so close to the city, but also feels removed from the hustle of the CBD. Easy to walk to the supermarkets (5 minutes), bottle shop (2 mins)and lots of cafes (everywhere!) with great food and coffee. There are three main tram lines all within five minutes walk - one is 30 seconds from the front door. Two trams go to the city via different routes through Richmond and the third goes south down Glenferrie Rd through Hawthorn, and Malvern all the way to St Kilda. 2人とも話し好き、新しい人と出会うことが好きなので、楽しみにしています。 Guest AccessIt is a roomy place with open spaces to share like the kitchen, dining area and balcony. The SpaceKinkora is deceiving from the front due to its rich period detailing however upon entry you will be surprised by its complete transformation into a modern architectural masterpiece. This stunning holiday home has been designed around an open, light living space that flows from inside to outside. Only the front two rooms of the original house have been retained. The circular stained glass window at the entrance is an original feature. Other features (such as the fireplaces and bay window) have been incorporated in keeping with the period style of the house. The master bedroom is located downstairs with a walk in robe and ensuite. Wallpaper gives the room an elegant yet contemporary edge. A formal living room follows, providing a tranquil space together with a private study that can also be used as a nursery if needed. The floating staircase is a striking central feature of the house. It is dominated by one of the many beautiful light fittings in the house. It leads upstairs to the children's bedrooms and bathroom. Each bedroom is individually furnished and decorated, creating unique and playful spaces that any child can enjoy. Downstairs, the vast open plan kitchen, dining and living space is stylish and bright, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sparkling pool and back yard. As well as the main living space, there is a great informal area for the kids. The kitchen is finished with Calcutta marble and Caesar stone benches, impressive silver lights and Miele appliances. It incorporates every modern convenience, including a steam oven, coffee machine, bar fridge and a pantry larger than some kitchens! The area to the side of the dining area has been enhanced by the use of a water feature and a suspended rooftop garden over the garage. Downstairs contains the large double garage as well as a games room and laundry. The games room is playfully decorated in LA and Rio wallpaper, which is sure to entertain the children. The outdoor space has many features to keep children entertained, including a pool, in-ground trampoline and a climbing frame. It also has plenty for the adults, including an outdoor kitchen and a built-in fireplace. There is even a chook shed in the back corner of the backyard and a vegie patch in the front yard.
