The SpaceThe apartment is nestled on the edge of the city, which is attached to the main residence, but fully self contained it provides the best of privacy and easy host communicationin the backyard of our lovely family home. It is renovated and accommodates two people very comfortably. The apartment adjoins our home - but has its own private entry and is not shared with ourselves (so, the apartment and the entry is yours exclusively) Come here to rest, to work or to use as a home base whilst catching up with old friends! When you arrive at our place, you have your own space to retreat and relax. The guest suite is entirely separate to our home, with its own separate entry and private facilities. Your private suite, has been tastefully designed and decorated by an Interior Architect. On arrival you will, no doubt notice the peace and quiet of this area. The bed is superbly comfortable, being 'not to hard and not to soft'! You will find that you can maintain a high level of privacy as your space is exclusively your area. The apartment has limited kitchen facilities, for you to use freely. A continental breakfast is included with your reservation. Other meals or snacks can be arranged for an additional minimal fee. The guest suite is completely private and separate from the house - no part of this listing is shared with any other home users. The apartment is cleaned thoroughly between guests - including washing and cleaning of all bedding and bedroom furniture as well as the bathroom. If you would like to wash your bedding during your stay, there is a washing machine and clothes line at the premises that you can avail yourself to, (fee attached). If you would like any part of your accommodation cleaned during your stay, there will be an additional cleaning fee. Even though we are so close to so many facilities the neighborhood is a very quiet and the streets are clean and all the neighbors take pride in caring for their gardens. If you would like a Massage?, Yoga class?, or Dinner reservations?, we have some wonderful contacts in Perth and we would be happy to put our guests in touch so they can be looked after well while they are staying with us. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes very close and for entertaining guests or to meet visitors. There is also a major shopping center very close to our home which includes many retail outlets, cinemas, and a 24 hour Gym. In regards to public transport, Perth metropolitan public transport, including trains, buses and ferries, are provided by Transperth, with links to rural areas provided by Transwa. There are 70 railway stations and 15 bus stations in the metropolitan area. The rail system has recently undergone significant redevelopment, with a new railway line built between Perth and Mandurah which doubled the length of Perth's railways. Additionally, The Indian Pacific passenger rail service connects Perth with Adelaide and Sydney via Kalgoorlie. The Transwa Prospector passenger rail service connects Perth with Kalgoorlie via several Wheatbelt towns, while the Transwa Australind connects to Bunbury, and the Transwa Avonlink connects to Northam. Look forward to meeting you soon! During your stay at with us you will have access to your own private room and bathroom. The apartment has been renovated from top to bottom, for the purpose of welcoming travellers during their stay in Perth. Having used AirBnB ourselves during our travels we noted what was most important to us whilst we were on the road and endeavoured to ensure they would be a part of our apartment. There is parking available at the front of our home, but this may not undercover. Pre-arrangement for keys to access is emailed to you, prior to your arrival. The apartment is entirely separate to our house, so if an uninterrupted retreat is your priority, then this space is perfect for you. However we will always extend a welcome to a shared barbecue wherever possible. We love how quiet our neighborhood is. Getting to and from our house is very easy because there are many public transport options available, which are all located close to our home. I am a yoga teacher and I teach classes in my home, I will always let you know when the classes are on. But I want to reassure you that I do not operate early morning classes and if you feel the class may impede on your stay I can arrange for the class to be held elsewhere or I will run a very quiet class. Guest AccessWe will send entry instructions to you in an email, just before your arrival. You MUST check your email to gain entry into the Apartment, as the key is in a Lock-Box at the front of our home - while the entry to the Apartment is at the back of our home. Getting AroundIf you are relying on public transport I would highly recommend you look at the Transperth website (website hidden) This is a very helpful website with a journey planner Other Things to NoteWe have a stunning patio (which you pass once you enter the gate). Please feel free to use this area. Birds frequently visit - so if you remain still they will continue with their job of communicating or eating, bathing or drinking. It is a very beautiful sight to bare witness to and it all happens in my garden. Room facilities In your room there is •Roller shutter – the control is next to the window •Extra blankets ( in draws) •Extra pillows (on request) •A small bin •A fan (on request) •Iron and Ironing board •Alarm clock For your convenience - Each bedside light has an on/off switch on the power cord House facilities The areas of the house you are welcome to freely use are •Your own bedroom •Your own bathroom •The outdoor area under the patio •The laundry is a shared space. On occasion I will need to access the laundry during your stay. However usually I will only be in there for 2 minutes - long enough to get some things and then out. I try to do this while you are out - so you are not disturbed by the activity. o Washing can be done at a cost of $5.00 per load oThe clothes dryer is not to be used All cupboards in the laundry are private, we ask please refrain from exploring. The SpaceMany guests who have stayed here say they have made many family memories here in this house, from hosting a wedding party, a birthday part or coming to Perth for a convention or family event. Guest AccessGuests can walk one kilometre down the road to the local shopping Centre (Belmont Shopping Centre) where you can access: ATM's, banks, cinema, cafés, restaurants, bars, retail shopping, cake & donut shops, electronic stores, the list goes on. There's even a Recreational Centre where you can swim or go the gym. Don't forget Tomato Lake too, a short 500 metres away. Interaction with GuestsI love talking to the guests over the phone or writing emails. It doesn't matter what time of the day the guests arrive as the house keys are stored in a lock box and the keys can be accessed using a 4 digit code given to them once full payment has been made. The NeighborhoodAs mentioned previously this is very much a family friendly neighbourhood, Tomato Lake is a great place to take the kids for a picnic and grab a cup of coffee at the kiosk or take them to the local recreation centre where there's an indoor heated pool. About a 20 minute drive by car you can go to the Swan Valley (wineries, chocolate factory, restaurants) or to Whiteman Park where you can feed a kangaroo and meet a koala. Getting AroundPublic transport is a 3 minute walk away and the bus will take you into the city so you can transfer to a train or another bus and connect with Fremantle, King's Park and other great tourist places. Please note there is no TV in the bedroom but you have access to a laptop to watch online TV. No problems if you have to leave early hours of the morning or arrive late in evening. Breakfast: toast, cereal, tea coffee etc included. Interaction with GuestsI can cook an evening meal or snack upon request, tell you how to access public transport, Taxi/Uber etc, can offer tips, places to see etc. Work business hours. Good conversation and one of us can speak fluent Spanish. We respect your privacy. The NeighborhoodFive houses down the road there is large parkland called Tomato Lake with cafe (open Wed to Sun), fitness area, BBQ, bird sanctuary.           The SpaceComfortable, cosy and characterful, this beautiful home is conveniently located only 6km from the city centre, 7km from the domestic airport, and 8km from the international airport. The house is fully functional whilst I am away on holiday. There is full kitchen facilities including gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. All appliances may be used (and taken care of!). There is also a washing machine with laundry powder that can be used. There is a comfortable living space in the lounge room with a large 3 person sofa and a small dining table. There are two bedrooms, a queen bed in the Master bedroom, and a second bedroom also with a queen bed. Finally, there is a large open grass garden in the back yard with clothes line for washing. Guest AccessOur guests are welcome to use the entire house and backyard outside areas. This includes full use of kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathroom. The only exception is for the shed in the backyard, and the back area where private things are stored outside the laundry room. Interaction with GuestsWhilst I am away on holiday, there will be minimal interaction with you. There will be a couple of people available in my absence to contact if there are any issues, and to give and return keys. Any other ingress will be avoided. However, if you would like interaction, assistance or someone to tell you about what´s around the area, then they will be available to chat to help you in any way they can to ensure your stay is lovely. The NeighborhoodThere are a number of beautiful parks in the area. The nearest is Peet park which is just down the road at the next corner, a minute walk away. The most beautiful park nearby is the Tomato Lake which is about a 5min walk and has a gorgeous lake in the middle, the home to many local waterbirds, and newly refurbished kids playground area with picnic/BBQ areas. A 10-15min walk away is Belmont Forum, which is a huge shopping complex with all the necessary amenities including supermarkets Coles, Woolworths, Big W, Kmart, Liquorland and a huge array of other shops, a foodcourt, many coffee shops, a local pub and some restaurants. There is also a Reading Cinema complex within the grounds. The house is conveniently located about a 6min drive away from Crown International Casino complex (previously called Burswood Casino), which has a variety of shops, bars & pubs, and restaurants. The main centre of town nightlife is only a 10min drive away, which includes Northbridge, Leederville and Perth city centre (CBD). Locally, Victoria Park and Albany Hwy shopping strip has a great variety of lovely cafes and restaurants that are only a few minutes drive away. Getting AroundThis house has easy access to town with bus numbers (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and circle route located a short couple minute walk away. It takes approximately 20-25 mins to reach the city by bus. There is a train station about 5min drive away. If driving, there is a quick access to Graham Farmer Fwy and Tunnel which crosses the city, as well as heading up north or south on the freeway. There is a quick access to Leach Hwy and Tonkin Hwys which can take you anywhere in the east quickly. Other Things to NotePlease note that I have a cat, who happily runs around the neighbourhood. Please be aware that it may find its way inside, however feel free to leave it outdoors if necessary.

              Comfortable and safe living accommodation across the street from cinemas, restaurants and a major shopping center. Gym and Olympic size pool only 4 minutes walk from unit where there are also buses available every 15 minutes going into the city. International and domestic airports are 10 minutes and 3 minutes away respectively. The city is less than 20 minutes by bus but only 10 minutes by car. Travel across the Causeway and you will be in the heart of Perth, or you can be at the Crown Entertainment complex in less than ten minutes the surrounding area also has a golf course and horse racing. Or travel in the other direction for 10 to 15 minutes and you will be in historic Guildford and the Swan Valley: Perth’s very own wine region. There are many bike and walk paths close by which run along the Swan River...enjoy beautiful sunsets as you walk- you can follow a path all the way to South Perth and catch a ferry over to the newly built Elizabeth Quay or stop off in one of the many coffee shops or restaurants along the walk. A stroll along ‘the strip’ on Albany Highway will reveal an abundance of coffee shops, restaurants, fashionable bars and interesting retail outlets. Modern, comfortable and so close to the city – this unit has everything to make your business trip or holiday stay a great experience.
