Our place is at the centre of Kertih, a suburb area famous in oil and gas industry, where people come to experience village life, beaches, fishing at Teluk Kertih and others (including hanging out at the only mall-with-cinema-in-Terengganu ;D). Other than that, for sports such as swimming, archery (Thu-Sat), badminton, squasy,golf, gym and others are accessible at KGRP. There are also few sports available at Mesra Mall including bowling and futsal. People also usually went there to dine, watch movies, shop or just walk around. It will take approximately 5 mins to Kerteh Airport ,Mesra Mall, Kemasek beach , Rantau Petronas Golf Course and Recreational Park (KGRP), and 10mins to the Paka Oil & Gas and LPT2 Highway by car. Travelers can also easily travel back and forth to Kemaman, Paka and Dungun from here. Besides, there are lots shops around the homestay itself eg. wet market, groceries shops,library, immigration office, bank, mcD, laundry, restaurants, bakery, clinics, futsal court and more for access. You might find different slangs of Malay (Terengganu Slang), Chinese,Indian and other languages being conversed, but don't worry. Most people in town nowadays have at least a basic level of English to chat with you if you're having a hard time in those. Getting AroundA bus stop is located at the main road downhill near mcD which is a walking distance from the apartment. There are shuttle buses to travel around, from Kemaman to Kuala Terengganu. In order to travel to other states, travelers can opt for the express bus which will take 4 hours to Kelantan, 2 hours to Kuantan, 6 hours to Kuala Lumpur and 8-9 hours to the south.However, the newly built LPT2 route really makes a great difference in terms of distance and ETA. 3 hours to Kelantan, 45 mins to Kuantan and 4.5 hours to KL.
