    The domes are located in their own scenic 'dome village' with great views of both the Ben Lawers mountain range and the spectacular Loch Tay. The domes are 18m2 in size and they offer one large double bed, a cozy wood burning stove, funky fun bean bags, candles, oil lamps, two camping mattresses and responsibly sourced reindeer hide rugs. Please keep in mind the domes have no electricity inside them.On the outside there are fire-pits and picnic benches which can be used to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

      These wigwams offers a brand new comfortable and fun option for families and couples. Each wigwam is located in a quiet, secluded woodland area of the park with wonderful views of the loch. The wigwams are made of wood and come with home comforts such as a TV, a fridge, a kettle and a microwave. No crockery or cutlery is provided so please remember to bring your own. There are enough comfortable mattresses to accommodate up to 5 people. There is a shower block adjacent to the wigwams.

      These new and cosy octagonal woodland cabins are beautifully located with commanding views of the Ben Lawers mountain range and Loch Tay. They offer contemporary décor, wooden floors, faux leather settees, flat screen TV's, hi-fi with i-pod dock, and peat burning stove. Full length windows lead into open plan living, dining area and kitchen. Kitchen is equipped with cooker fridge (freezer compartment), microwave, all crockery, cutlery, large modern corner shower with WC and heated towel rail.All woodland cabins have one bedroom. However there are 2 different sleeping arrangements.Four of the units come with 2 sets of bunk beds and the other four come with 2 single beds, which could be pushed together to form a double bed with the availability to have a double bed in the living room. The latter is called the sip and link setup.

It comprises the Farm House, adjoining the owners' cottage plus the Steading and another holiday cottage owned by our neighbours. It is 5 minutes by car from the village of Killin, 1 hour 30 minutes each from Glasgow and Edinburgh. Getting AroundThere is little in the way of public transport available, you will require your own vehicle. 4x4 Land Rovers may be hired from the local garage. The NeighborhoodWe live in the West Highland area in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Killin is a beautiful small village which is situated at the Western end of Loch Tay into which runs the River Dochart. An old arched stone bridge crosses the river over the spectacular Falls of Dochart and a Watermill is on the right bank of the falls. The village is overlooked by the hill of Sron a Chlachain (Gaelic = nose of the village) and also the hills of the Tarmachan Ridge and Ben Lawers. There is much in the village of interest including an ancient six stone circle, a tin church built in 1876 and the ruins of Finlanrig Castle – seat of the Campbells of Breadalbane. Killin is ideally placed within reach of many beautiful areas. Day trips to Glencoe, Kilmartin Glen, Oban, Fort William, Aberfeldy, Perth, Stirling and even St Andrews are possible if you have your own transport. The cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are a maximum of two hours by road. Nearer at hand there is plenty to occupy the visitor, with the Crannoch Centre at Kenmore, the arts and crafts village of Fortingall at the entrance to Glen Lyon which is in itself one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland. Loch Lomond, Aberfoyle , Loch Katrine and the Lake of Menteith are all within easy driving distance. Many outdoor activities are possible - cycling, water sports, hillwalking. Getting AroundReally you are best with your own transport. Taxis There is a taxi service which can collect you from Glasgow or Edinburgh airports to get you here. This is Killin Taxis: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). You can also find them on the internet. Buses The main bus service is Kingshouse Travel C60. It runs a service from Callander to Killin but is not that frequent. Once you are here there is a hop on, hop off tourist bus, the Ring of Breadalbane Explorer Bus. It operates from 12 May until 18th October on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. You can use it to visit the Scottish Crannog Centre, The Grouse Experience, Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, Highland Safaris, Dewar’s World of Whisky and The Watermill in Aberfeldy. It can take a limited number of bicycles on board as well. National Bus Services: Summer services run from the beginning of the 4th week of May to the end of the 1st week of October. The area is a haven for all types of wildlife which can be viewed from your armchair! Getting AroundBlinkbonnie Cottage cannot be more central if touring Scotland. However we have 2 different sleeping arrangements you can choose from. You can have either: Zip & Link beds - 2 single beds which can be zipped together to make a double or left as a twin. There is also a single bed which comes down from the wall. (max 5 people) Bunk Beds - 2 full size sets of bunk beds. (max 6 people) Both of these options have a double bed settee in the living area.                 Blinkbonnie Cottage is set in beautiful forrest countryside within the Loch Lomond National Park. The cottage faces directly south and has a small Lochan at the end of the garden where trout can be seen jumping. The whole area is a haven for wildlife and only 2 miles from the village of Killin which is home to the famous Falls of Dochart and at the western end of Loch Tay. Killin has many eating houses and very good Coop store for all your needs. You are within 90 minutes of Glasgow and Edinburgh and only 60 minutes or less from Oban, Glencoe, Gleneagles, Perth and Stirling. The village of Lochearnhead is 4 miles to the south where all styles of water-sports and fishing can be arranged. We have two golf courses within 20 minutes and many more a little further away. If you are after a real chill out style holiday or a base to tour Scotland from, Blinkbonnie Cottage is the place for you. *PLEASE NOTE * Electricity is charged at standard rate on meter readings taken from start and finish of holiday! The cottage has a cozy lounge with log burner for the winter evenings or a outdoor barbecue and seating for the long summer evenings.                 Beech Cottage is one of only four holiday cottages set in a forest location at Wester Lix, nestling in Glen Ogle in The Trossachs National Park. The cottage is situated only 2 miles away from the picturesque and bustling village of Killin, which lies at the head of Loch Tay and famous for the Falls of Dochart. Killin is considered to be a gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Beech Cottage offers accommodation for 4 people in one double and one twin bedded room, child and dog friendly, with an enclosed garden and forest walks on hand. The lounge, with its inviting log burning stove for those cooler evenings, has French doors leading to the enclosed garden where outdoor seating is provided, from which you may see deer, red squirrels, and a wide variety of birdlife. Beech Cottage is an excellent place for exploring Scotland and has, within easy reach, many outdoor pursuit opportunities including walking, fishing (salmon, trout and coarse), cycling, golf and water sports. It is a 1.3/4 hour drive to Edinburgh, 1.1/2 hours Glasgow, 1.1/4 hours to Oban, while Perth and Stirling are 1 hour away. There is parking for two cars. A car is essential. Please advise at time of booking, if you are bringing along your pet as there is a charge of ÂŁ10 per pet, per week. John Paul Jones the founder of the USA navy was born in Kirkbean and went to School next door to Grovewood House. The sea is 1 mile from Grovewood House which has a stream running through the garden Jon Paul Jones founder of the American navy was born in Kirkbean. Killin itself is a traditional Highland village and centres on the spectacular Falls of Dochart, here the river tumbles and cascades over the rocks before flowing into Loch Tay. The village sits on the very edge of Stirlingshire's border with Perthshire and benefits from being part of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Inside you will experience all the comforts of Oak with its log burner, under floor heating throughout and cosy wooden floor. Fully fitted kitchen including electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble drier. This leads to an open plan dining and living area. Oak Cottage has digital Freeview TV, DVD player, CD, radio and a selection of DVD's and books. A Crannog was a type of ancient loch dwelling found throughout Scotland and Ireland, and the centre has an authentic reconstruction of one, along with many interesting artefacts just 10 miles from Killin. Fishing is extremely popular in the local area. The River Tay, Scotland's longest river flows through the heart of Perthshire and is renowned as one of the world's best salmon rivers and attracts anglers from all over. In the area there are various well stocked, trout fisheries and hill lochs. A good source of information about fishing in the area is the Fish Tay website, this excellent website is full of information about areas to fish, the permits required can be bought in the local paper shop. The mountains and moors of Perthshire are abundant with wildlife, the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve being a particular popular place to visit. Owned by the National Trust for Scotland the Reserve situated not far from Killin it is home to a diverse range of wildlife and during the summer months Ranger staff offer a programme of guided walks for visitors of all ages.                         Innishewan Farmhouse enjoys a wonderful setting in the heart of romantic Breadalbane Perthshire within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.  Surrounded by stunning Scottish scenery that is steeped in history and heritage, this delightful and extremely spacious self-catering holiday house has been newly renovated and decorated to a high standard. Pets are welcome, however the farmhouse is on a working farm with livestock around. Please keep your dogs on a lead outside of the garden and supervise them in the garden. There is a £10 charge per dog - we have dogs and we know that even the most well behaved dog can shed a few hairs and leave a few muddy paw prints! Large sash windows and high ceilings give a wonderful feeling of space and light yet this comfortable holiday house cleverly manages to retain a warm and cosy feel.  There is a separate dining room, and the bright and airy sitting room with its sumptuous leather seating, snug wood burning stove and lovely views is sure to create memorable evenings.  Patio doors open onto a terrace with garden furniture where summertime drinks can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the magical view with Highland cattle and sheep grazing in the fields below.  The adjacent dining room is perfect for relaxed holiday meals and the kitchen is modern and well-equipped.  There are three delightfully furnished bedrooms sleeping 6 people - one double and two twin rooms - all benefiting from en-suite bathrooms with the luxury of under-floor heating.  At the back door, there is a utility room containing a washing machine and drying facilities.
