The SpaceA lovely old stone-built cottage on a working farm, in the village of Killinghall, only a short drive or walk from the famous spa town of Harrogate. With amazing views and friendly hosts who are happy to show guests around the farm ,this peaceful location is idyllic. There is so much to see and do in the local area. With books toys and games (including a Wii console) provided free of charge for a rainy day, you'll never be short of activities. Lots of tourist information provided to help you plan days out. Free use of wellies for everyone and walks starting from the farm in all directions including Harrogate and Ripley. There are two local pubs within walking distance and a park (a bus stops right at the end of the lane going directly to Harrogate, Leeds or Ripon via Ripley). Trains from Harrogate go regulalry to Leeds, York and London. Accommodation: From the front: parking and patio area with ample parking for up to four cars, the door leads to a large hallway through to the lounge and dining kitchen beyond, with farmhouse style dining table to seat 6 guests. Within the lounge area there is a large sofa and a sofa bed for 2 occasional guests, an open fire with fuel provided for your first fire (and further by arrangement), digital flatscreen TV, DVD and Wii Console with DVDs, books and games. In our lovely stone built cottage there is lots of space and character. Upstairs there is a single room, and along a corridor to a spacious master bedroom with king sized bed (can be split into 2 small singles on request) and single sofa bed for an occasional guest. Bedroom 3 is twin-bedded (can be a 6ft superking sized bed on request) where a cot can be provided if needed. Bathroom with shower over the bath, heated towel rail, toilet and basin. Outside rear enclosed garden with wooden furniture, BBQ, chiminiere and spectacular views. Oil central heating with working open fire, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric hob with electric oven, integral grill and extractor hood. TV, DVD, Ipod dock, Wii console and DAB digital alarm clocks. All fuel, linen and soft towels included in the rent with extra fuel available to purchase for the open fire. An extremely well equipped kitchen for the keen baker or cook. Ample parking. Babies welcome with bowls, cutlery, bibs and toys provided. Travel cot and high chairs are available free of charge. Outside Furniture. BBQs permitted (free hire of bbq stand and disposable bbq's available). Free WiFi. The NeighborhoodKillinghall is a fabulous village that feels very rural (the views from our cottages are lovely and unspoilt) but you can be in the centre of Harrogate town in 5 minutes by car or 30 minute walk. There are 2 pubs and a fish and chip shop in the village and we have our very own cookshop and coffeeshop (URL HIDDEN) ON THE FARM! So you can have a proper coffee and buy fantastic cookware in your pj's if you wish ;-) Getting AroundThe bus stop is at the end of our lane, train station 5 minutes away in Harrogate and the nearest airport, Leeds/Bradford is less than 30 minutes away. Taxis are very reasonable to and from Harrogate and take aways all deliver to the farm. Other Things to NoteThere is a local farm business that deliver food and veg boxes for guests another local company that provide meals if required, both can be arranged directly. We also have babysitters and lots of other extras that guests have requested in the past.

The SpaceHumble Bee Cottage is a beautiful recently converted stable on our working family farm. It is a lovely old stone-built cottage which was formerly a stable attached to Cowslip Cottage (our other propery let through airbnb). Located in the village of Killinghall, only a short drive or walk from the famous spa town of Harrogate. With amazing views and friendly hosts who are happy to show guests around the farm ,this peaceful location is idyllic. There is so plenty to see and do in the local area and with games (including a Wii console) provided free of charge for a rainy day, you'll never be short of activities. Accommodation: There is ample parking for cars/vans at the rear of the cottage. From the front door, there is a small hallway and to the right is an open plan living room, dining table and kitchen. There is one downstairs bedroom and a wetroom with funky square shower and square toilet! Upstairs past the fabulous view on the hallway there are two double bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with a superkingsize that can be split into two singles and a bathroom with shower over bath. There is a patio area and an enclosed garden with wooden furniture for BBQs or just sitting to enjoy the wonderful views. We have provided a digital flatscreen TV, DVD and Wii Console with DVDs, books and games in the living room, there is a microwave, electric hob and oven, grill and extractor hood, a washing machine and dishwasher. Freshly laundered towels and bedding are all provided. The cottage is centrally heated and we now have a gorgeous log burner which is not required heat but lovely for atmosphere and we provide kindling, logs etc for your first fire with more available on request. An extremely well equipped kitchen for the keen baker or cook. Ample parking. Babies welcome with bowls, cutlery, bibs and toys provided. Travel cot and high chairs available free of charge - please bring own cot bedding. Outside Furniture. BBQs permitted (free hire of bbq stand and disposable bbq's available). WiFi included in whole property and please note we have very good mobile reception here on all networks. Pets accepted by arrangement. The NeighborhoodOur village has 2 pubs a fish and chip shop, a park, a church and doctors surgery. We also have our cookshop (URL HIDDEN) on our farm with a coffeeshop too open on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Getting AroundBus stop at the end of our lane, train station 5 minutes away in Harrogate and Leeds/ Bradford Airport is 30 minutes away. Car hire and taxis both easily accessible. Other Things to NoteWe have a local company that delivery their gorgeous fruit and veg boxes to guests if required and a local lady who makes home cooked meals for you to heat up from the fridge or freezer when you choose if you don't want to cook (also lots of takeaways deliver here too).

The SpaceSet in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. We have a lovely double room with a sitting room (with comfortable double sofa bed) available for the Tour de France! Closely situated to both day one and day two of the race routes. 5 miles from Harrogate centre, a bike ride away.. Fantastic views from the house. The bedroom has a king size memory foam bed, very comfortable with pure white cotton bedding. There is a private shower room with spacious shower and fluffy towels. There is a sitting room with a sofa bed and wide screen TV with own court yard patio to enjoy optional breakfast (£6 per head) in the sun or the family kitchen if it rains. Guest AccessThis bedroom suite also has its own private entrance to come and go as you please. We have a large lit double garage, secure locking up for bikes. There is also a den above the garage with a double mattress and air bed available at an extra £50 per night (sleep an extra 4). We will provide bedding (Fridge also). Great for extended families. A washer and dryer is available by arrangement with the owners. Interaction with GuestsThe bedroom suite is private to the house and joins by locked internal door only. The owners will be around in the evenings and on the Saturday if required. The NeighborhoodThe house is set in a quiet rural village with a shop, post office, country pub (serving food) and a coffee shop. Getting AroundLively Harrogate is only 6 miles away, there is a local bus, although cannot guarantee it will be running with the TDF. The SpaceSet in a picturesque rural location, yet just 1.5 miles outside Harrogate, our spacious apartment offers a relaxing alternative to a hotel. There is a breakfast kitchen, with cooker, fridge and micro-wave/grill. All the ingredients are provided for you to enjoy a breakfast at your leisure. There is a comfortable lounge with TV. Bathroom with large bath and a walk-in shower. The separate bedroom has a king-sized bed. We have recently added a sofa-bed to the lounge area and can now accommodate two further guests. When booking for a larger group we include an adjoining twin-bedded room, with en-suite bathroom. Business travellers will find plenty of room to work and free wi-fi. Why not bring your partner and combine business with a short break! [Off limits? - We are delighted to include a jar of honey with your breakfast ingredients - but, for safety reasons, advise visitors to stay out of the bee-hive area! This is well-fenced off - and we're happy for you to 'don the gear' and come with us to have a look!! weather permitting] Guest AccessWell tucked away, with two cycleways and a bridle-path on the doorstep. Perfect for that early morning jog! Secure parking and cycle storage. There is a utility room with a washer and dryer if needed. (shared) We have a large garden which we are happy for you to explore - and the apartment has it's own private terrace garden area with table and chairs. Harrogate town centre is not far away with it's numerous shops/bars/restaurants, etc. (There is a regular bus service if needed). The local village pub with it's popular beer-garden is just a short walk away. I'm told they serve a 'good pint'. Interaction with GuestsWe live on-site and can generally be found should you need anything! We also respect your privacy - we'll leave it to you! We do have dogs (inter-action is not compulsory!), horses and hens - you are likely to be woken by birdsong and the cockerel - and you get to sample our fresh laid, free-range eggs. The NeighborhoodWe are lucky to live in such a tranquil rural location with direct access to some great walks and rides. (Cycle-ways to Knaresborough & Ripley and bridleway/footpath into the Nidd Gorge). There's a great local village pub just a couple of minutes walk away with good beer. Harrogate itself has an amazing choice of bars, coffee-shops, restaurants, shops, etc. Plus, the whole of the Yorkshire Dales is ready for you to explore! Getting AroundThere is a regular local bus service into Harrogate. Local taxis services are generally very reliable too. Other Things to NoteWe provide all the linen (bedding, towels, etc.) you might need. Breakfast - we'll talk to you about what you would like! - but it will all be local produce (where possible) of the best quality and include fresh-laid eggs from our free-range hens (pick your own if you like), honey from our hives, and my home-made preserves. A quintessentially English country cottage with an idyllic location, get ready to fall in love with Scarah Cottage… The first thing you’ll notice about Scarah Cottage is the total privacy afforded here. It’s completely detached and accessed via a long private lane where sheep mosey along beside you. It has a lovely elevated position backing onto the local estate’s woodland and in front of you a charming view of the surrounding countryside. Let’s step inside this large luxury cottage to find a handy boot room (with original York stone floors) leading to the stunning and very spacious kitchen. There’s a kitchen island with bar stools, the perfect spot for a pre-dinner gathering with a bottle of bubbly on the go. As you would expect the kitchen comes complete with every mod-con you could wish for including an induction hob, a large American-style larder fridge and a dishwasher. There is also a separate utility room which houses another fridge freezer along with a washer/dryer.
