I live in a beautiful 1903 Heritage Listed Cottage in the breathtaking Kin Kin Valley which is only a 30 minute drive from the beautiful Noosa beaches. Kin Kin Manor is a completely renovated weatherboard 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage with additional 1 bedroom 1 bathroom studio. The cottage is right next door to the Kin Kin General Store and Black Ant Restaurant and is only a short walk to the Countrylife Hotel and Restaurant. A public tennis court sits behind the cottage which my guests are welcome to use. A lush garden growing the most beautiful colourful plants as well as paw paws, grapes, chillis, ginger, and other assorted edible plants. There is also a large covered gazebo with electric BBQ and the main kitchen of the cottage has been developed along commercial lines, so if you are a chef at heart, you will certainly enjoy this stainless steel kitchen and equipment. The cottage is fully fenced and has security gates to ensure privacy and protection.

    My home is a magnificent totally renovated 1903 single level timber Queenslander cottage offering 2 bedrooms, main bedroom with walkin robe and ensuite which the owner resides in. Your bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe. There is an additional day bed in the lounge for that extra guest and a sofa bed with innerspring mattress for an additional 2 guests. Polished timber floors, reverse cycle airconditioning throughout, high ceilings, a large commercial kitchen with stainless steel benches, dishwasher, and 8 gas burner stove. Huge lounge room with 20 cedar bifold windows. A large gazebo with BBQ facilities. Three toilets and a double shower. A sound system throughout the entire building. Parking for two cars. Automatic security gates and a wonderful garden. Walk to new general store, 2 restaurants, hotel, post office, Noosa Trail, church, and bus stop. Only 15 mins to the Pomona Village, 30 mins to Cooroy, 30 mins to Gympie, 40 mins to Noosa and 45 mins to Tin Can Bay. A beautiful lush green Noosa hinterland village and this cottage is right in the middle of the main street allowing the occupants to walk to the local pub with restaurant, new general store with restaurant, church, Noosa Trail or take a 30 minute drive to Noosa through the lovely villages of Pomona and Cooroy. Only 15 mins to Boreen Point where you can fish or swim in the most outstanding Lake MacDonald. Canooing, boating activities are very much in demand at this location. Horse riding and bush walking or just soaking up the local culture, particularly the Sunday markets on the first Sunday of each month at Kin Kin are a real hoot. There is ample parking inside the fully fenced cottage for one car, and ample parking at the front of the cottage for one or two other cars.

You will share cottage kitchen with owner who lives on the premises. There are wonderful scenic drives one can take. Kin Kin Markets happen the first Sunday of every month. Country LIfe Hotel which is 50 metres from the Manor has functions most weekends. Right next door is the new Kin Kin General Store which has a restaurant every Friday and Saturday night and Sunday and is open 7 days per week. The weather is normally beautiful and rain fall is high. The Manor is unique in that it was built in 1903 and has been restored and renovated to the highest standard. This home has been beautifully renovated & decorated with class. Whether you come as a single, couple, family or a large group you won't be disappointed. We have 3 houses on the property in which to stay each with its own uniqueness & outlook on the 60 acres. We have also decked out a large communal barn with a fully equipped kitchen and large fireplace so you could rent all 3 houses if you want incl the barn for extra large gatherings. The dam has its own pontoon in the middle so you can swim to it sunbake & relax. The saltwater pool is also a great place to chillax by whilst having an afternoon sunset drink. Electronic devices do not work so put your computers & mobiles away and really take in what Waterford Park has to offer. Lots of walking tracks have been established throughout the property, with lots of wildlife & birdlife to see & billabongs to explore & swim in. Noosa is only 35 mins away & our local cafe & pub is only 7 mins up the road. The noosa trails are right beside us for the more adventurous walkers/hikers. Getting AroundThere is a local bus service in Pomona 10 minutes away which will take you to Noosa and surrounding areas. Pomona has cafes, bottle shop, newsagent, IGA, post office etc. The drive to Noosa takes 25 minutes. There is plenty of parking onsite. The Gold Mining and Forestry museums are a must as well as the Mary valley rattler (steam train). 30 minutes to sail a catamaran or kayak on Lake Cootharaba head to Boreen point. 35 minutes to Eumundi markets (Wed, Fri, Sat). 35 minutes to feeding the dolphins at Tin Can Bay. 45 minutes to Rainbow Beach. Horse riding on the beach, sky diving and surfing among popular activities. The food at the Rainbow Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is fantastic with an awesome view of the ocean and Double Island Point. If you have a 4WD you can access: Inskip Point and barge access to magnificent Fraser Island (50 minutes drive). Explore magnificent coloured sands of Rainbow Beach and Double Island Point, accessible either via the tranquil rainforest Freshwater Track or along the long curving coloured sandy beach via Rainbow Beach (at low tide). Explore the Cooloola national park and visit Harrys Hut on the banks of the beautiful Noosa River. Rainforest walks and fresh water waterholes a must see. When you are worn out from all of these unique natural experiences you can relax and enjoy unwinding in this private oasis. A truly undiscovered and remarkable part of South East Queensland.

          Cedar Brae Cottage - self contained bed & breakfast. A piece of the country to yourself, surrounded by still water and rolling green hills. This picturesque cottage accommodates 4 guests, you have total privacy, with comfortable beds and crisp linen, 1 King bed & 2 long King singles. You can expect a warm welcome from Pam & Mike who live in the main house on the property, which is far enough away to give you total privacy, but who will also be around if you require any assistance. There are no other guests so you have the place to yourself. Fresh bread and newly laid farm eggs will be delivered to your verandah in the morning. Perhaps a quick paddle early to spot a platypus - our canoes and kayak are at hand, as are fishing rods. If you are a bird twitcher, you will not be disappointed by the number of species we have on our property, so bring your binoculars. In the evening BBQ on your verandah with a sundowner at the bar with the most amazing views. We are only15 minutes from Gympie & Kin Kin. So many walking, climbing and biking tracks in the area to explore. Wish we could parcel Cedar Brae up and send it to you to experience this little piece of paradise........but we can't so you will just have to come and see for yourself.
