    Eversley Cottage Annex is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage which is located at the gateway to the South Downs National Park and within 2 1/2 miles from Winchester Historic City Centre, 30 minutes from Stonehenge, Salisbury and 55 minutes by train to the centre of London and 30 minutes to the south coast and beaches. We provide the perfect place to relax and use as a base for exploring Winchester, the surrounding villages and rolling countryside of Hampshire. Easy access to Salisbury and and the south/south west of England Eversley Cottage Annex provides a perfect home from home holiday. It is set in large gardens shared with the main house can private which has two ponds, large grassed areas and a patio area great for BBQ's at the rear of the property accessed through French doors from the lounge. The Annex has all modern amenities with en suite bathrooms to 2 bedrooms and a separate family shower room for the 3rd Bedroom. It has a well equipped kitchen dinning area with double oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, TV, with plenty of seating for 8 people. The Kitchen has French doors enabling al fresco dining. The first and second bedrooms are located on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom and a shower room, The family bedroom sleeping 3 people has an en-suite also. The NeighborhoodTranquil location with beautiful countryside surrounds and no road noise. Close to A303, A34 and M3 near Winchester and Stockbridge. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Hampshire countryside, while being just minutes drive from major road networks. Micheldever Station is just 5 minutes drive away with trains direct to London. Getting AroundGenerally speaking a car is required, Micheldever train station is only a couple of miles away and Winchester is 7 miles away. There are lovely walks around the area, so worth packing your walking shoes. Other Things to NoteThere is a wealth of great restaurants in Winchester, Stockbridge and surrounding villages. However there are no eateries close by. There is a pub in the next village that serves food, 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. We can give you recommendations if you tell us what you like. the village pub is just across the road and well worth a visit, they do not do food regularly, but have a fish and chip van on a Tuesday night 4- 7.30 and curry night once a week.

    The SpaceGreystones is a special house with so much charm and character. The kitchen is a great area to socialise in with a small sofa where guests can chat whilst the aga cooks a lovely meal. It's very well equipped. The lounge is a great communal area that can easily seat 8-10 people, there is a big wooden fireplace, logs are supplied so you can sit around a crackling fire. There is also a playroom with lots of toys for all ages and television. There are 4 bedrooms, one with a shower, a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet. 2 double king size beds, 1 room with 2 singles and 1 with a bunkbed. During the summer the super, large back garden and orchard gets copious amounts of sunshine. There is a kids play area and a lovely seated patio to the left of the house. We have two sky boxes with a full package, one large television in the lounge and then a television in the master bedroom and playroom which are operated off a second box. Guest AccessThe guests will have access to the whole house and gardens. We have cars parked in the garage and sometimes a camper van in the drive, however there is still room to park 4 cars in the drive and outside in the layby. Interaction with GuestsWe are always happy to help The NeighborhoodCrawley is a beautiful and unique Hampshire village, it boasts a thatched duck house, and lovely country pub. There is also a beautiful pub called the running house which is just down the road in Littleton. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, so please respect our neighbours. Winchester is only 3 miles away and is a stunning City with plenty of lovely restaurants, theatre, cinema, a market on Saturday and some lovely boutiques. The house is perfectly located for discovering the New Forest, Salisbury, Stonehenge and the South Coast amongst other beautiful villages and towns nearby. Stockbridge is a 10 minute drive away and is a stunning market town with lovely pubs and restaurants with galleries and shops to explore. Getting AroundThere is a bus service from near our house to Winchester, it doesn't run too frequently so be sure to check the times on the bus stop.

The Historic Town of Winchester and market town of Alresford are a short drive along with local pubs. Walking and biking from the Barn is accessible from the track. We are only 5 minutes from Micheldever Station (Southampton to central London - Waterloo line) with regular & fast trains (60 minutes). We are nearby to major trunk roads of A34 North, M3 London Southampton, A303 to the West. Taxi service is available and available locally (just advise). The barn is located in the countryside with bridle tracks around it so perfect for walks and mountain bikes. So please join us in the beautiful English countryside and close to the historic city of Winchester. Other Things to NoteOn arrival Tea & cake.           The SpaceMay Cottages is a lovely old cottage recently refurbished by an excellent local contractor who specialises in refurbishing old properties sympathetically. It's a brick and flint cottage, one of the oldest in the village and right at the end of the main street Oxford Road. Inside it's deceptively spacious, especially when viewed from the front as the rear ground floor extension and first floor bedroom extension are hidden from the street. Rooms are all light and spacious, excellent sliding sash windows, and at the back two sets of double doors open onto the lovely private corner-plot garden. The garden has space for two cars off-road, a South-facing patio area with potted plants and further seating area to catch the morning sun. Guest AccessGuests are free to use all spaces, the living room, open-plan kitchen and dining/office, three bedrooms, bathrooms, and dependent on length of stay, we'll make some wardrobe space available so you can feel at home and not live out of your suitcase! The NeighborhoodSutton Scotney is a really sweet village, just 6 miles North of the beautiful city of Winchester (URL HIDDEN) and a very short drive on the old A30 Roman road which takes you straight into Winchester in under ten minutes, and there's never traffic! Winchester itself has so much to offer, from the beautiful cathedral with the longest nave in Europe, to the city's winding streets, beautiful medieval buildings, waterways, high-street shops, plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes all within minutes of the city centre. Getting AroundWinchester is 6 miles away, a 10 min drive, or you can catch the No 85 bus which goes through South Wonston village, along beautiful contryside and runs pretty much on the hour every hour into Winchester, and the bus stops are minutes walk away!

          Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire property as it is an annexe from the main house. Interaction with GuestsWe are usually around in the evening if you need any assistance or advice, though we are a working farm and often busy during the day. If you would like a breakfast welcome pack or dine at home meals please ask and we can arrange it for you. The little kitchen bistro and outside catering are one mile away so can deliver meals or you can dine at the bistro which is part of the Winchester Golf Academy. The NeighborhoodHeadboune Worthy is a picturesque Hampshire village with traditional watercress beds, a farm shop and a good pub called the Cart and Horses. Winchester Golf Academy is also in the village which is also home to an excellent bistro and cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Getting AroundThe Old Cart Shed is 2 miles from Winchester railway station, and a short drive from the town centre. Wincehster Taxi service is reliable and efficient. Other Things to NoteUpper Farm is a working farm, and the farm is also home to a commercial stables housing up to 12 horses. We also have a number of chickens, guinea fowl, a cat and a dog.

          The NeighborhoodWe live in a beautiful rural hamlet with a church dating back to the 12th Century. The stunning village pond is a relaxing, calm Oasis at any time of day. With no light pollution on a clear night it is perfect for star gazing. For those who grave a little social activity the Wonston Arms is a 20 min walk away - voted North Hampshire pub of the year 2016. You will get a warm welcome from all the locals. Getting AroundThere are limited transport links in the village itself. There is a morning bus to Winchester but Micheldever Station is 3 miles away with trains to all major stations (London, SOuthamption, Basingstoke). The main bus route in Sutton Scotney about 1.5miles away has more request access to buses for Winchester. We do have several bikes at home available for use but please confirm in advance so we can make sure they are in good working order.

          The SpaceThe annexe is a modern, recently decorated large converted garage. You'll have the upstairs of the annexe completely to yourself, and the downstairs living room, big 55' TV to yourself most of the time. The kitchen and utility area is shared. We have a travel cot and a blow up mattress for anyone travelling young children. Guest AccessGuest have access to the whole annexe (living room, utility, bedroom with ensuite and private balcony/patio). You will also have access to the kitchen and lounge of the main house. Interaction with GuestsWe will be around most of the time, and are happy to help with anything you might need - tourist advice, cycle routes, hiking/walking routes etc. We love meeting new people. Language-wise, apart from English, I can speak some Chinese (having lived in China for 5 years). My wife likes to think she can speak Spanish, but I'm not too sure. The NeighborhoodLovely leafy suburb of Winchester. It's quite a historic place, with amazing scenery - particularly the river Itchen. We're 1 minute away from an old mill house that the river runs along straight into Winchester. We're also just 1 mile from Easton, where there is a very lovely gastro-pub - The Chestnut Horse, that does spectacular food. If 1 mile is too far, there is also the Cart and Horses pub, just a couple of minutes walk from our house that serves good pub food. Getting AroundWe're a few minutes walk from St Mary's church bus stop which has buses running in to Winchester every 10-15 minutes throughout the day (less frequent out of hours). There are plenty of taxi companies as well. Winchester train station is 3 mins drive away. We have a couple of bikes available to rent as well. Other Things to NoteFor breakfast you can help yourselves to cereals and toast (jam/peanut butter/ marmite). If you'd like a cooked breakfast, please bring your own ingredients but help yourselves to the pots, pans, oil etc.

The house is only occupied by my sister who lives in the annex and we live next door, so you have lots of space to enjoy your stay and make our home yours. The NeighborhoodQuiet village lane with great countryside on the doorstep and all the shops, restaurants and cafes of Winchester just 10 minutes away. A great base to tour Hampshire and Wiltshire, the New Forest, and even to explore London (1 hour by train) but come home to a cosy village cottage.There's a local pub 5 minutes walk away plus a church and post office/ newsagent too. If you want to cook for yourself we have a well equipped kitchen and there are a selection of supermarkets 5-10 minutes away - Waitrose, Sainsbury and Tesco. As well as restaurants, cafes and good pubs Winchester also has its own cinema, theatre and plenty of historical sites too! Getting Around2 minutes walk to the bus stop which runs every 20 minutes into Winchester through the day. Taxis cost less than GBP 10.00 during the day and a little more late at night. Winchester is only 5-10 minutes away by car and bus. It takes 25 minutes to walk into town by road or a beautiful riverside country walk in dry weather or with wellies in the Winter!

          Greystones has no shortage of charm and character throughout, made of oak the house dates back at least 100 years. There are magnificent views across the wonderful countryside that surround the house, making stepping out for a long walk or a stroll to the pub very appealing. Every room is unique and quirky with original wooden doors and features, combined effortlessly with light and modern furnishings that give a feeling of uniqueness with quality at its best.
